By sacking the minister of health and appointing an unbiased healthcare administrator who is not a medical doctor.

By sacking all the Chief medical directors of our public hospitals and appointing unbiased managers with qualifications in Management.

By creating separate directorates for the different professional groups rendering expert services in the hospitals e.g, directorate of medical services (to be headed by a physician), directorate of nursing services to be headed by a nurse, directorate of pharmaceutical services to be headed by a Pharmacist, directorate of med lab services to be headed by a medical lab scientist etc.

All the heads of directorate will enjoy equal rights and privileges and will be answerable to the Manager.

The different professional groups should be given the opportunity to grow in their fields and earn a decent living just as what obtains in the international community.

Buhari sent the 2018 budget and the 2018 appropriation bill containing the USD400million helicopter purcha se to the National Assembly since November 2017. The National assembly refused to pass both the budget and the 2018 appropriation bill. The order for the purchase of the helicopters had a deadline of March 2018 inorder to meet a delivery date of 2020. The FG had no choice but to place the order for the helicopters in March since they had done their own job and sent the appropriation bill containing the intended purchase to the NA since November!!! Why the National Assembly has refused to pass the Appropriation bill and the Budget since November 2018 baffles me!
There are rumours that they are waiting for kickbacks from heads of FG agencies before approving the budget. Another rumour is that they are using the budget passage to blackmail the FG into dropping corruption allegations against many of them.

You just displayed your ignorance on public fora.The NASS,after receiving the budget from the president, invite mda's,ministries and parastata to defend their estimates.As of today,some are yet to do so.The blame goes to president who oversee all of them.
