I think what started this argument was whether Nadal would Dominate the way federer did, and I said he cant!, cos,yes he could dominate on clay but he cant on other surfaces,yes, he has won a slam on grass and on hard courts,but can he win 6 on grass like Roger did?, he has also won a slam on hard,but can he match Federer's total 10 slams on hard courts (Us open and Aussies)?, He simply cant achieve that cos he really isn't that dominance on other surface like he is on clay,

Men chill,Federer is seeded number 1 for the Wimbledon Championship

It appears so,that doesn't seems to be the problem with the male counterparts as Nadal muscled his way through in straights sets

I would disagree with that part in bold,Nadal can not dominate the way Roger or Sampras did,Yes,he dominates on clay-which is played for only 3months within a calendar year,what happened the rest of the year,the moment he is outside clay he is not soo dominance,any player could take him on and win,a point proven by Lopez at queens.

They dont need to get to 50-48 alright but by challenge-I meant challenge to defeat,what is the use pushing all the way withot achieving the feat?,that last set,I knew roddick would fade out the first,he is not mentally strong enuf to challenge Federer,only Nadal could do that-too bad for the sport

This wasnt a g8 wkend for me,tennis-wise,I wanted VENUS to win,she didnt,I wanted somone to challenge federer-no one could, Am afraid I could lose interest in the sport, unless of cos RAFA gets back or better still HENIN comes out of retirement

Pls what determines the no of set played? Yesterday, Venus won on 2 sets but Federer is still going into the 3rd set. sometimes, men & women stop at 2 set or go forward to 3rd set

In grandslams^{wimbeldon is one of the four},men play best out of 5 sets,ladies on the other hand play the best of 3 sets.

In other tennis matches i.e master-series,250 series,500 series,men and ladies both play best out of 3 sets
