Was woundering though, cos banks in UK and developed countries dont do marketing through staffs running around and sourcing for deposits,what then makes them thick?,it does also means Nigeria could do away with staff marketers,and let their products speak for themselves,the act of sourcing for deposit is as a result of most if not all all bank managers/directors lacking the competence in deploying their resources,hence they concentrate on having high deposit figures to bloat their balance sheets and hide their inadequacies

Diamond Bank Plc has in the last two months embarked on a massive nationwide recruitment of fresh graduates.
The exercise which has so far taken place in three locations-Abuja, Lagos and Owerri brought into the Bank's fold well over 300 fresh graduates, the Bank said.

Disclosing this the Head Corporate Communications, Diamond Bank, Mr. Charles Udoh stated that the exercise was part of the Bank's strategy of deepening its talent pool and also contribute meaningfully in the reduction of unemployment level in the country.

Yes we conducted aptitude tests for the short listed candidates in three locations_ Abuja, Lagos and Owerri after which over 300 were successful. By doing this, we simply want to add value to the quality of their life and make their career dreams a reality. Equally, this forms part of our intervention mechanism in reducing the frightening rate of unemployment among the youths in the country.

And as service provider, we can only fulfill our business strategic initiatives with a highly skilled and dedicated manpower that is willing to go the extra mile in providing quality service to our customers," he stated.

When asked if the recruitment is continuing, Udoh assured that the Bank will continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Nigeria's economy via such schemes.

How true is this publication?   I know quite a number of people waiting to training since last year August after medicals yet to be called, and they come out with this

I heard they did call those that would be into retail banking and its all in batches,I did my medicals August 4th and probably we wud be called in due time

i did my too on August 4th,no show yet,dont watsup with them

its just frustrating,why call for medicals when it wud take this long to call for training,a month after medicals and yet no show

where did u do ur medicals?,i did my medicals on august 4th in lagos and still no show yet,am been told we wudnt be called to training until like ending of september,hold tite guy-u might be in for a long wait

U have got two of the top guys in Diamond bank conducting the interview,i dont kno what kind of question they may ask cos as u kno its an interview,but am quessing they want to see how confident u cud be and probably study ur command of english
