please who knows the pay package

Ernesto Valverde is the new FC Barcelona coach. The 53 year old former Barça player was previously Athletic Club Bilbao coach and he will take over for the 2017/18 season. Valverde will be presented on Thursday as FC Barcelona coach along with his assistant Jon Aspiazu and former blaugrana José Antonio Pozanco who will be the fitness coach.

The FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu commented in the press conference to announce the new coach that “today I have spoken personally with Valverde and he is happy and excited about the challenge of coaching Barça.” 

This will be Ernesto Valverde’s second spell at the Club, his first coming as a player between 1988 and 1990. The new Barça coach won the European Cup Winners’ Cup and the Copa del Rey in his two seasons as part of Johan Cruyff’s squad, playing 29 games and scoring 10 goals in official competition.

As a coach Valverde has a wealth of experience in Spain and abroad. He has had two spells as coach at both Athletic Club Bilbao and Greek team Olympiacos as well as having coached at Espanyol, Villarreal and Valencia. In his career he has helped his teams to no less than six trophies, five with Olympiacos and one with Athletic Club.

Good afternoon,

I have a frd who work as an accountant in a reputable insurance company as a contract staff with salary of 60k at the island but lives in the mainland and spend more than N1,100 everyday.

He just secured a job with a private company in a manufacturing company on the mainland which he will now spend not more than N800 everyday and salary is N70k which he will continue to work as an accountant with 13 month salary and quarterly bonuses.

Please note that the insurance company is well know but the manufacturing company is not well known.


Pls advice, should he leave or stay in the insurance company?

Kindly advice a frd who has 3 years of experience and had the opportunity to work as a business development officer and also a Finance Officer.

He has just got an employment letter in a logistics company as a business development officer which basic salary is 80k with commission to be added based on performance for meeting targets and also 60k for the Finance Officer without any other benefit in a manufacturing company.

He studied bus administration with a 2.1 and holds an MBA also.

Kindly advice which to choose.
