I attended an interview with a bank around march this year and I got another invite for an interview with the MD 20 days after.

We were just 6 who attended the interview with the MD and none have bin called. One of us said he is aware they want to retrench and they will call us after it has bin done.

Its more than two months now and we have not bin called. Do you think there is still hope?

I just completed my msc econs, I had my bsc econs 2013 and I've bin working in bank (operations) over 2yrs now.

But for some courses which the pass mark is low, candidates with less than 40% can how ever be admitted

With what am seeing, candidates hardly score more than 50%. But I think if u have score 50% and above ur chances is high and am very sure Oou won't admit below 40% only if the person passes back door and it will be damn hard because there is transparency in this admission
