Politics / Support For Continuity by habebsadiq02: 5:17pm On Jul 14, 2017
SUPPORT FOR CONTINUITY OF DR. NUHU SALIHU. CMD NOH-DALA, KANO Dr. Salihu words in all event; My vision for national Orthopaedic hospital Dala-Kano is to actualized the dream of the founding fathers by building the world class Orthopaedic hospital that will be a home for all; a secure institution with full complete modern infrastructure. God always helps the believers and intend good for them, indeed God has his plans. So never let your hardship fool you into thinking God does not love you, it is through hardship that God test you, removes your sins, purifies your soul, make you believed nothing last forever, and with patience you can find peace and mercy of God and encompass all things. May God; most high grant us all ease and well-being. It is the responsibility of a leader to provide opportunity and Dr. Salihu provide. This opportunity is evident in his open door leadership style and all-inclusive governance. So our responsibility as the led is to contribute our quota to make sure the progress and success of our institution is collectively attained. In many ways the curing character and attitude of Dr. Salihu has distinguished who a leader is and who a boss is, so a leader leads and a boss drive, when a boss create fears, Dr. Salihu create confidence, when a boss fixed blames, Dr. Salihu correct mistakes when a boss know all, Dr. Salihu ask question. It is time for us to leave the pass in its rightful place and embrace the current realities in the pass. Dr. Salihu also rebrand NOH- DALA, in totality that rate the hospital among the fastest growing institutions in the country. The development are as follows: 1. Human development; - Dr. Salihu employed the highest number of staff since the inception of the hospital which bring about drastic reduce of unemployment that is bedeviling our country, and the employment are based on merit and in compliance with the federal character act. Among those employed are qualified consultant surgeon, pharmacist, Nurses, physiotherapist, Accountants, Administrators, Health Attendance, public health officers and lab scientist etc. 2. Infrastructure;- Dr. Salihu renovate all the Wards in the Hospital including some departments i.e. theaters, pharmacy, X-ray, occupational therapy, limb fitting, medical record and Doctors call room and equipped them with modern equipment. Aminu Dantata which build a modern ICU ward fully equipped, Alh. Aliko Dangote Foundation which engage in providing portable water by drilling bore holes in the hospital. Dr. Salihu also initiated the construction of world-class spinal ward which is under construction, extension of NHIS BLOCK, award plots of land to the UNIONs to build secretariat, provide a building for NGOs for humanitarian service, also restructured the schools we have to national standard. 3. On the I.T part he transformed the hospital operation into computer base in order to meet- up with national standard, also provide an internet service to the hospital for the smooth running of the hospital activities In compliance with the federal government directives, He invite banks to deal with cash collection directly with internal control measure which also curtailed corruption in the system. 4. Staff Welfare; - staff welfare is part of his priority which prompt him to approved the payment of staff salary areas which hang for many years, also pay more emphasis on staff sponsorship, approval of staff upgrade and conversion whom bring additional qualification and been hang for many years, also encourage his staff must especially juniors to upgrade themselves, also in his effort he is working tirelessly to see that federal government settled all his staff areas. Among the welfare on the patient side is the patient refund which is also worrisome to him, therefore he give special attention to that in other to make sure that patient refund are payed as when due. With the few achievement mention we have confidence that it is time for us to leverage on the determined tendencies of Dr. Salihu by giving him all the needed support to make us succeed together the intellectual and dynamic leader is establishing the vision for future and he is setting the strategies for continuity, God willing Dr. Salihu is set to motivate and inspire others to go in the right direction, he is set to sacrifice his life for the betterment of National Orthopaedic Hospital Dala Kano. Let’s support him to attain that great feat. His commitment focused on welfare, safety and security of his staff is unshakable, let us not deny ourselves this golden opportunity of moving towards a better and brighten tomorrow. Dr. Salihu is able and capable, tested and trusted, worthy of our trust, he is a man of integrity with our support, and the beauty of his qualitative leaders is bond to continue with the leadership of the institution. Lastly the choice for Dr. Salihu to continue is worthy of appreciative because in him you find a refine culture, dedicated, religious, humble and a friendly leader to the core. Verily Allah command that you should render back the trust to those to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which he (Allah) gives you! Truly Allah is ever All-hearer, All-seer. PROGRESSIVE STAFF.

Politics / Reshuffle Your Cabinet With Competent, Capable And Professionals by habebsadiq02: 2:14pm On Mar 26, 2017
Reshuffle your cabinet with competent, capable and professionals. On Friday in kano sports minister addressing security issue and make a hoax statement saying if PMB son found quilt in any crime he will be prosecute, which we all know that among President clique there are some with hundreds of petitions against them but were covered with presidential anointed water, but sports minister trying to deceive Nigeria for recognition under the function of either information minister or defense minister while his ministry is also disarray to the fact that he cannot fixed, but busy addressing security issues. Also several contradictory statement between some of your ministers I.e Minister of finance with her counterpart of budget which is on calls for. Seventy percent of Nigerians believed that Mr President is man of integrity and trustworthy. So integrity mean one voice if you said A" in south also said same A" in north, If you give Rice to Kebbi State also give same to IMO State, if give Minister to Bayelsa State also give same to Kogi State, So that all part of the country should not fill marginalized. That is test of integrity. At the end we are calling on PMB to as a matter of urgency reshuffle his cabinet with competent, Capable and professional. Habeeb Sadiq Jos
Politics / Hope For The Jasawa Community: Hon Gwani Muhammad Adam Alkali Oon.(danlondon). by habebsadiq02: 3:58pm On Oct 28, 2016
THE IMITABLE LEGACY OF GWANI ADAM ALKALI OON: HOPE FOR THE JASAWA COMMUNITY (PART 02)
Before I start mentioning some good gestures of Gwani Danlondon, I think it will not be out of place to state that we have, as a people, failed to encourage our leaders to do more. And while it is not wrong to chide the derelictions of leaders, it is utterly inexpedient to not commend the few leaders that solve some tangible problems in the Community.
"Leadership is solving problems," says Colin Powell. And fellowership is the adherence to and prompting for effective leadership. It is, therefore, incumbent on us to appreciate the minute few that strive to solve one or two problems in any part of Jasawa community, having in mind that such appreciation would spur them to do more.
Let me narrate a story to you. There were (15) students - mainly Jassawa- who had left their comfort zones to study to be knowledgeable and skillful for the labour market. But they were faced with a besetting situation.
It so happened that they could not pay their tuition fees. The examinations approached and they risked deferring their studies. But as God may have it, respite came when they were about giving up. A Good Samaritan appeared from no where and brought joy to their gloomy faces.
It might interest you to know that Danlandan, through the HA. Foundation, paid the N63,000 tuition fee and N5000 penalty charge for each of the affected undergraduates, I am very sure that the beneficiaries will never forget the year 2015, for being hugged by the beautiful hands of Luck.
What can be more eminent than a leader trying to encourage his kith and kin in their educational pursuits? I mean, these are the gestures that would develop our clime.
Apparently Danlandan knows that the only way a society would experience development is if and when the people pursue education with reckless abandon. That is why he has continued to render help to "seekers of knowledge" in all spheres.
Also Part of his contributions in education he sponsored Qur'anic recitation competition in other to encourage and builds younger ones in the community.
I muttered to myself: "What a good way to say thank you to the institution that moulded you. What a perfectly kind way to give back to the environment that made you a learned one. What a leader that inspires younger leaders like us. What a blessing to the Jasawa Community."
You will agree with me that this perspicacious leader knows what his clime wants and is doing his best to contribute his own quota. He knows that the onus of leadership is to effect change, and any leader that derails in this is lagging behind.
Without any form of doubt, Dalandan has outperformed his contemporaries in the community. It is just unfortunate that this piece cannot actually exhaust all his good gestures, especially in the educational sector. Besides it is not the onus of this series to do so. If not I would have made mention of the UTME forms he had purchased for school leavers, the books he had bought for various schools, the unpublicised school fees he had paid for hundreds of students, also the employments he secure to our teeming youth and research projects he had financed for ample scholars in Jasawa community
Nonetheless, the subsequent part of this series would succinctly refer to the benevolent gestures of Danlondon in his home of orientation, Mallam Adam Family. You will then see how he is circumspectly adhering to the dictum, "Charity begins at home."
My aim is for every Jasawa man to know the real Gwani Danlondon and appreciate his contributions toward engendering change in society, and not believe the fathom fictions that naysayers are selling in town.

Politics / Apc Government In One Year. by habebsadiq02: 10:19pm On May 28, 2016
What is your take on this? Please! Avoid direct personality attack:
ONE YEAR OF UNPARRALEL ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE BUHARI ADMINISTRATION- MY PERSONAL VIEW
1. "Absence of well structured, broadbased & synergized economic blueprint with clearly stated goals, plans, policies & strategies to drive the economy"- LCCI
2."Reduction in business confidence index from 7.3% to -8%"-LCCI
3."Reduction in GDP from 2.33% as at May 2015 to -0.4% in May 2016"-LCCI
4. Highest rate of poverty index since independence.
5. Drastic and complete reduction in the disposable income of citizens as a result of free fall in the value of the Naira.
6. Highest rate of foreign disinvestment in the economy since independence.
7. Reversing the Nigerian economy from being the 3rd fastest growing economy in the world to not being classified among the first 15 in Africa.
8. Operating the most controversial, the most inflated & the most fantastically corrupt budget in the history of Nigeria despite the so called anti-corruption stance of the govt.
9. Nigeria is witnessing an astronomical rise in the price of both perishable/non perishable goods never before seen in the history of nigeria, except during the period Jan 1984 to Aug 1985.
10. Having the highest policy somersaults of any Nigerian govt since independence.
11. The economy is experiencing the highest job loss since independence.
12. Highest unemployment rate.
13. Operating a govt with the most discordant tunes among its policy makers. Eg while Ibe ikachukwu states that the 145 Naira increase in the pump price of PMS is as a result of complete removal of fuel subsidy, Osibanjo on the other hand states that subsidy has not being removed; that the increase is as a result of low govt revenue and scarcity of forex.
14. Scaring away foreign investors by consistently demarketing Nigeria/Nigerians as the most corrupt country/people in the world.
15. Using EFCC to harass, intimidate, incarcerate & silence opposition figures under the guise of fighting corruption.
16. Using one year to rescue ONLY ONE CHIBOK GIRL out of "11,595" rescued book harm captives.
17. Operating a reversed judicial/ legal system in which an accused is declared guilty and thrown into prison untill proven innocent.
18. Operating a democratic govt based on complete impunity and disobedience of court orders.
19. Conducting the highest number of inconclusive elections within one year.
20. Brazen increase in fulani herdsmen attacks, kidnappings, rapes & massacres in the middle belt, southwest, southeast & south south.
21. Never before seen polarization of Nigerians along ethnic and religious devide.
22. Secret immigration recruitment scandal.
23. Secret CBN recruitment scandal.
24. Failed and complete denial of all campaign promises.
25. Re-insurgency of militancy in the Niger Delta.
26. Perhaps the govt greatest achievement is spending exactly one year in office blaming the previous administration for its incompetence, cluelessness & its complete lack of a single policy direction.

LAWMAKER PARTNER WITH FOREIGN EXPERTS, N.G.O TO ERADICATE DRUGS AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE FROM CONSTITUENCY.
A federal lawmaker Hon Suleiman yahaya kwande member representing Bassa /jos North in the federal house of representative has condemn in the strongest terms the alarming abuse of illicit drugs and substance abuse among the youths and young girls in plateau state and Nigeria at large, he noted that the trend has killed so many youths and left others on the streets and rehabilitation centres across the state, this is not healthy for the state and the Nation at large. The youths are the leaders of today and the back bone of our dear nation if we allow our youths to go this unproductive way while we look the other way as leaders, we may have to contend with serious life threatening problem in the nearest future, hence I will do everything legally and humanly possible to immediately flag off the anti drugs and social vices campaign in my constituency which is a partnership project between my office, some international experts on drugs and crime prevention/rehabilitation and some N.G.O's within the coming days. Hon Suleiman made this statement when he received the Executive council of Global peace & life rescue initiative (GOPRI) led by the programme Director Dr Hashidu Daura over the weekend in jos. Earlier Leader of the delegation Dr daura stated that they were in the house of the lawmaker on behalf of the Executive Director of GOPRI Mr Melvin Ejeh to thank the Federal lawmaker for his pragmatic and timely step in the right to initiative this campaign which will include foreign experts that will provide lasting and practical solution towards the eradication or drastic reduction of the impact of drugs and substance abuse from his constituency and the state at large, and promised to dedicate all their time to this importance project.
Nairaland / General / Apc Lie Muhammad. Flash Back by habebsadiq02: 10:59am On May 20, 2016
FLASHBACK 2011:
WORDS ON MARBLE FROM FORMER PUBLICITY SECRETARY ACN/APC AND NOW MINISTER FOR INFORMATION AND CULTURE
Lai Mohammed
"We remain on the side of the people. We feel their pulse and their pains. We believe the removal of fuel subsidy is a great misadventure, and have conveyed our stand
on the issue in a letter to the President, though we never
got a response."
‘’President Jonathan did not tell Nigerians during his electioneering campaign, that his administration will only be able to deliver the dividends of democracy by removing fuel subsidy. Therefore, it amounts to arm-twisting the people to say that funds saved from fuel subsidy removal will be used to construct roads, build hospitals and schools and other expectations from the
government.
"The government should have been honest enough to say it is seeking ways to raise money for governance,
and Nigerians would have been glad enough to let it know how to raise money without resorting to a
phantom fuel subsidy removal.
"Our message to the President is that if he feels he cannot explore other areas to raise money for
development, like cutting down on government excesses, then he should say so clearly and leave the
stage for those who can ensure development with minimal pains. Our party, the ACN, will provide good governance without removing fuel subsidy, and we are ready to do so today if the Jonathan government
cannot."
ALHAJI LAI MUHAMMED, 2011.
Politics / PMB Is Honest But Not Intelligent by habebsadiq02: 11:10am On May 18, 2016
So much noise about leadership, integrity and credibility.
A good leader communicates in a very clear manner
A good leader keep to his promises
A good leader explain challenges
A good leader consult
A good leader listen
A good leader speak directly to his people on very serious issues
A good leader is not only accountable but also transparent
A good leader should not only welcome court judgments and pronouncements in its favour but also accept and recognize judgments and pronouncements against it.
A good leader is quick to give reasons why promises made cannot be kept and apologise afterwards
A good leader makes sacrifice for the followers and for the common good.
A good leader could have presented the palliative first, cut down the cost of governance and then tell the followers or citizens more could come if we make a little sacrifice by allowing price increase on fuel.
For those out there that understand and know the working of government better. Please educate me on the sacrifice that Mr. President and the governors are doing for the common good since I know for sure we pay for everything they like, want and enjoy with their families and even associates.

Now devalued the Naira.
6. He said he would not have the office of the first lady.
Now He has the office of the first lady.

8. He said he will end Boko Haram insurgencies 3 months into his regime, he later said in December when the rains stop.
Today, Boko Haram is still killing people.
9. He said he would turn all presidential jets to national carrier.
Today, he and his family are cruising on all presidential jets.
10. He said he would build one new refinery each year.
Its getting to one year, no refinery has been built.

Politics / FG Resumed Payment Of Petrol Subsidy by habebsadiq02: 7:29pm On May 03, 2016
Nigeria: Govt Resumes Payment of Petrol Subsidy By Juliet Alohan Following the rise in crude oil price to about $47 a barrel,
the federal government will resume the payment of subsidy
on petrol as the product is now selling below the expected
open market price, the pricing template of the Petroleum
Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) has shown. According to the updated template the agency released in
Abuja, which is expected to cover the second quarter of
2016, the expected open market price of petrol has risen to
N99.38 per litre for independent and major oil marketers,
and N98.62 per litre for retail outlets belonging to the
Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). The expected open market price is the actual price of the
product taking into consideration all market elements,
which include landing cost and distribution margins,
without subsidy element. However, a source within the PPPRA told LEADERSHIP
exclusively last night that the pump price of fuel remains
N86.50 for major and independent marketers, and N86 for
NNPC retail outlets, adding that the difference would be
taken care of through subsidy payment. MORE ON THIS The source noted that the subsidy payment would, however,
not be at any extra cost or burden to the federal
government, explaining that it would be funded from the
savings made during the first quarter (Q1) when the market
was over-recovering, that is, selling above expected open
market price due to low oil price. Minister of state for petroleum resources, Dr. Ibe Kachkwu,
had disclosed that about N100 billion had been saved from
over-recovery, saying the fund would be saved and used to
offset differentials when the market begins to under-
recover as part of the price modulation mechanism put in
place by government. Consequently, at the current price of N86.50 per litre for
major and independent marketers, and N86 per litre at NNPC
retail outlets, the federal government will be paying N12.88
and N12.62 per litre of petrol respectively as subsidy.
Politics / Open Letter to plateau state governor by habebsadiq02: 10:12am On Apr 24, 2016
Dear Simon Bako Lalong,
Your Excellency, Sir, perrmit me to convey my warmest congratulation to you on your anticipated one year anniversary as the Executive Governor of Plateau State.
Furthermore, I have to state clearly that I cast my vote for you during the 2015 general election not because I totally believed in your government to bring the needed change to Jos-North Muslim Ummah but because, Just like other resident of Jos-North, I didn't want the previous administration to remain in power (the decision I don't regret till this day) because the administration is believed to be anti- Jos North Muslim Ummah.
Your Excellency, I wish to say that I'm disappointed by some of your administration's policies so far.
Sir, to start with, I don't understand why it is difficult for your administration to come up with a convincing template for the implementation of Jos-North Muslim Ummah proposals before you.
Sir, I hope you are not deceived that you accommodated Jos-North Muslim Ummah in your appointments, because immediate previous administration far outweigh your performance, in that administration we were given (1) Deputy Speaker (2) Chairman Board, Pilgrim (3) Special Adviser (4) Senior Special Assistant. You must suppers this effort to garner our community accolade.
In the immediate previous administration many of our people were given access to the Government Contracts as such People like Hajiya Jamila Gwandu Yaro Me Raki and Co were fully made.
Secondly, Sir, I wish to remind you some of your promises before, during and after election, specifically the ones you made at your house during our elders visit to your house and published in the national dailies in quote " without the Jasawa community I wouldn't have win the general election. I therefore promised to fulfill their proposals". So to know about your performance on each of these promises so far, read below:
(a) ROAD : Your Excellency Sir, you promised to rehabilitate the entire Jos-North roads, including a special consideration to Unguwar Rogo/Rimi road. Sir, how many of these roads have been rehabilitated since you got to office and where ? You promised to construct Unguwar Rogo/Rimi Road promptly, Sir have you captured this Unguwar Rogo/Rimi road in the 2016 Appropriation Law. Or your prompt is still not ripe? You promised to network our roads. Please Sir, what is your administration progress report on this? You may wish to know, the Immediate previous administration constructed 'Yan Doya , Rikkos and Aneyi Street roads. I think you should consider that as a challenge too.
(b) DISTRICT CREATION: Sir, you promised to create more district in the state with a special promise to consider Jos-North Ummah proposal. Sir, though I think your responses on District creation is inadequate and vague. Government is still very stingy with official statements on the issue. Sir, How far have you gone on this issue so far ?
(c) CONSTRUTION OF TERMINUS MARKET: Sir, What is happening to the seven Companies proposal for the reconstruction of the market. Sir, is a day fixed for the bidding ?
(d) LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION: Sir, why has your administration refused to conduct local Governments election ? I heard that you are preparing to send another request for the 4th term to the State Assembly for extension of time to the Local Government caretaker management, what could that mean, Sir.
(e) ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION: Sir, is your administration incapable to put Ahmadu Bello way and Old Bukur Park in good sanitary condition?
Your Excellency Sir, Jos-North Muslim Community are still your partners in progress, despite been in charge you are still receiving our kind gestures. Just recently one of our own donated 30 youth Job Slots to you in his Services Company operating within the state. I hereby wish to advise you on the last note that you shall never take a risk of conducting Local Government election in Jos-North without fulfilling these promises undertook by your humble self Or your party will stand at the risk of loosing the council election. The earlier you consider a supplementary Budget for the Construction of Unguwar Rogo/Rimi road better. Because without that road, no amount of politicking will give APC victory in the Incoming Local Government election. Unguwar Rogo's vote will surely go to the opposition party. Finally, I wish to state clearly that this letter is not in support of any of your opposition, if you have any, but in sole support of what is good for this state.
Yours In nation Building:
Ali Shehu Akawu
