When you hear that nurses want to do this and that, please dn't feel threatened because a real and true professional knows his or her jurisdictions. only a fool wants to do all but master non. After all, not every doctors are surgeons. A nurse is a nurse and a doctor is a doctor. When one tries to become another, he or she automatically becomes a quack. There are things accepted or not accepted by the law even though Nigeria law has a clause. So, let's mind our various businesses and allow or asist each other to grow. |
It's not d role of a nurse to conduct surgery. A surgeon is there to do that. But the professional nurse carries out special skills in ensuring that those wounds inflicted on a patient during surgery are healed properly because the nurse is taught the art and science of caring for the sick. NB: not everyone on white are nurses. Quack nurses are everywhere especially in private hospitals. To whom it may concern:- • It's better to have one or two professional nurse(s) in that your private hospital than picking up 1001 young girls, then give them white to wear and start addressing them as nurses. you are tarnishing the image of a profession. • To the public, when next you visit an hospital (private), you have the right to ask to be attended to by a licensed professional nurse. |
SirToby:not evrybdy wearing white are nurses. no sane persons cn be harsh for js no reason. stop being stubborn to a care provider(nurse) cos they are still human too. |
there's nofin lyk being urself. evn d conditions of d economy wn't change ur tru self wen u stay real cos u're unique n amazing jx d way u're. |

Pls, I need your candid advice/suggestions on this. I studied nursing and I've currently obtained my Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science. Ever since I completed the compulsory National Youth Service corp, I've been on the street of Abuja in search of job opportunities as a nurse in hospitals, Health Maintenance organization, as a site nurse in some construction companies. All The places I applied are yet to call me for interviews. How soon? no one knows. Now I'm tired being indoor waiting for their calls. Currently, a concerned family friend has offered me a job in the bank to work as a cashier. I'm somehow puzzled because of the career differences. Should I go ahead and grab the offer to work in the bank or exercise more patient and wait till those places I applied as a nurse start calling? |
Cutehector:. . Tel em as wel. But it's more common wit ladies. |

When you're in your 20s, you pretty much have a free card. It's somewhat implied that those years are there for making mistakes, learning from them, and bridging the gap between pre-adulthood and adulthood. So, when you spend your whole paycheck on a pair of shoes, no one can really give you a hard time. But at some point, we all must brush d dust & embrace that we are adults.. When U turn 30, there are some things U must learn to shift away from. Find below some of these things... 1. Facebook stalking, particularly your ex. 2. Seeking approval from other people. 3. Sleeping away your entire weekend instead of doing something fun or productive. 4. Weeknight binge drinking (or binge drinking in general). Those hangovers get worse with each passing year. 5. Building up debt on your credit card. Now is the time to pay it back, not make it worse! 6. Hitting up Mom or Dad for money. 7. Keeping bad friends around out of convenience or because you're too lazy to cut them out. Send them packing! 8. Buying anything and everything you want when you're shopping. 9. Sneaking a smoke. 10. Buying new underwear instead of doing laundry. 11. Buying new underwear instead of doing laundry. 12. Advertising drunk nights on social media. 13. Skipping beauty routines. Start moisturizing ASAP! 14. Pulling all-nighters. 15. Making excuses not to do your workout. 16. Eating fast food. 17. Hanging unframed pictures or posters on your walls. We think "Starry Night" is great too, but it's time to take it down. 18. Spending most of your money on alcohol or eating out. 19. Waiting for someone to do something for you so that you don't have to. 20. Only cleaning the toilet or tub when it literally can't wait another minute. 21. Giving up when things get hard. 22. Waiting to take out the trash and recycling until guests are coming over. 23. Holding on to old grudges. 24. Neglecting family time.25. Washing your bath towel and sheets once every few months or just when you have company coming. 26. Not taking responsibility for things. 27. Unhealthy dieting or buying in to quick-fix weight-loss plans. 28. Texting while driving. 29. Not saving money. 30. Not staying up-to-date on current events. You can add yours. |
