Very funny grin Yes I came to ur house to inspect your HP car and ur deal and terms are fair enough apart from the one you said u don't want ur car to be doing inter-state until the driver finish the payments, which I accepted that with you and I also explained to you politely that I may want to use the car to take my family to sagamu(my home town) whenever they are going on holiday and you said that's not an issue that you can always open the geo-fence for that. How on earth will I agreed to get a car deal of 3.5m and I can't use it to convey my family. Who does that?

So, tell me what I said that you don't like and you can't tell me to my face immediately. Must I say YES to all your terms and the one I know I can't keep up to. That's why there's always a room for negotiation before a deal is strike but no, you all want drivers to say YES to all ur terms without considering the driver and later you'll come here to sing ALL DRIVERS ARE BAD.....SMH

I know you are daft from your first sentence, I don't know you and I don't wish to know you, but don't always make your stupidity so glaring to public that's all am saying.

Are you the first to invest in Uber as if security upfront is your ROI?
Why dangote and other trucks owners did not ask for security upfront from their driver?
Why banks and company did not ask for security payment from their drivers?
But all they asked in common is credible guarantors. Maybe because dangote and others did not invest? What do I know lipsrsealed

entparrot:

You beginning to sound like the driver who came to my office to harass me, if partners set conditions and you are not good with it, why not just stay away, and find someone else?

Or just quit Uber for good, stop this unnecessary threat (you will soon learn) what will I learn from you?

You actually have ur village people, ask them to buy a car for you, people who invest want return, without that they will quit.

Yes I need a car but not that desperate, I will rather go for a realistic offer which I know I can keep up to come rain come sun. Have been seeing your posts and have never request a car from you just because I know is not the best deal for me. So shift with you and your unrealistic offer abeg grin

GAZZUZZ:

I have run through your profile, you need a car.

I dont have a car to give @ the moment because I have given out what I have.

Get a security deposit of 40k and I will buy a car, I will fix any issue, I will register it, I will install a tracker, I will insure it and you will drive.

Is that too much to ask?
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Haderbayor123: 8:47pm On Jan 11, 2018
Exactly what am saying bro, before you give your car to someone, make sure the driver has at least 2 credible guarantors and if the driver default, pick his guarantor up to look for him to face the consequences. Let the driver pay for every damages and lost. Not by claiming drivers will be serious once they pay upfront whereas, this rogue drivers are smarter than you.

BusterG:

You see this bad driver issue will get some drivers jailed...Legally or Illegally.
I don't have a problem if something unexpected happens, but when a driver sets out intentionally to defraud a partner. Then poo should happen to him.
We are not playing here!

That's why you all come here to be crying that driver do this and that whereas you are the problem.

Learn how to drive and hit the road Mr D OWNER ONIGOLOJU

chccho:

I wonder y the guy is here ranting as if they put gun for the driver head? Its not by force if it favours u take it, if it doesnt leave it.

No be by force oga dreva grin

According to your logic, drivers with upfront deposit are good and serious ones. You will soon learn.

Break it down for me, how partners cheat drivers?

Bad cars? Reject it!

Stop using slave to buy sympathy, get to work and stop complaining.

Partners have right to demand you meet certain conditions, b4 u take his vehicle, is within his right, if you don't like it? Why not go somewhere else.

Upfront deposit is nothing to partners, to compare consistent weekly payment.
Upfront deposit make drivers serious,
Business / Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Haderbayor123: 4:00pm On Jan 11, 2018
That's exactly have been telling drivers, don't run to agree any agreement you can't fulfill, sit down and read the terms and conditions, take it to lawyer to interpret for you if you still don't understand and that's why many partners don't take drivers so serious.

Though, I did the mistake also when am still new to the work and know nothing about it, I agreed to be delivering 40k weekly with 2008 muscle and I will drive only on uber, I delivered it for 3weeks and dropped the car when I can't meet up, thanks to Romeo for the tutorial then.

Better be drinking your garri at home than accepting unrealistic offer. I think that's the word bro DONT NEGOTIATE WHEN YOU ARE HUNGRY.

laytoshtwo:

Partners are businessmen when you come for a car dont be desperate,a driver was told the car engine need to be replaced before hire purchase agreement is signed but he insisted the car is in good condition he want to start working. grin grin grin grin. After a month he started complaining the car is giving him wahala.Read terms and conditions well and dont negotiate when you are hungry. grin

Good day bro, this is Bayo that came to your place to check your car you want to give out on HP at Xmas eve. A simple message would have been enough to let me know the car is no more available but instead you choosed to block me on whatsap. I think things is not done that way, there are a lots still ahead of us in future so if a deal is off, I believe a thousand still awaits us in future. Just dissapointed you blocked me while you tell me to wait for your lawyer to be in town. All the best. Cheers

As If there are no bad partners. Is only drivers that are bad and all partners suddenly become saints. Why are you requesting for guarantors after collecting upfront payment? What about partners that won't fix cars and will suddenly collect his car from driver so as to get another upfront from another desperate drivers. I will keep saying it DRIVERS ARE NOT SLAVES. just because they are desperate to do something to put food on their doesn't mean you should take advantage of them. Remember you are only privileged than them.

Agree with u, good and bad drivers all have in Uber.

And nobody know who is the bad driver, everybody claim to be good.

But for u not to be their victim, don't believe anybody.

So you mean the driver intentionally crashed the car, that he was happy to have an accident. See all this thing is part of life and we have no power over it, we just have to accept it and move. Anyone can involve in an accident.

I agreed with you to some extent but also try and understand that drivers are not slaves but your business partners. Do you know how many hours driver works in order to meet up with 100k weekly. They work late and have sleepless night while they face danger of the road at odd hours while you are at home snoring with your family, they eat outside, they sleep outside and doesn't shower for days before they can meet up the weekly target and you are here saying HARD WORKING DRIVERS MAKES MORE MONEY THAN PARTNERS

Yes partners invest with their money and also need drivers in order to get their ROI. That's why I love Romeo and OGUNVIC policy, they have realistic policy for drivers just because they have also been in their shoe before. Who among you can give his driver wardrobe allowance but yes they provide that for their drivers without bragging here just because they want them to be happy working with them. You should all know that if partners are good and reasonable, drivers will be happy to work with/for them.

GAZZUZZ:

I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER give a driver a car without a minimum collateral of 1week, if he likes bring your property as collateral, I will make you sign an agreement that ensures if you default the property will be liquidated to reslove your issue.

WE pay insurance for cars upfront, service cars upfront, collect loans to even buy the car upfront. Minimum a driver can do is show some good faith and pay upfront, at least from the numbers available hardworking drivers make more money than partners.
