House of Representative member -elect,Birnin-
Kudu/Buji Federal constituency, Magaji Dawu
Aliyu on Tuesday boasted that they have retired
Governor Sule Lamido from politics.
Aliyu who spoke to Daily Trust said the result of
the general election in Jigawa state in general
and Birnin-Kudu in particular has demystified the
so called Lamido political machinery in the state.
"Let me tell you that era of Lamido's dominance
in politics of Jigawa and his hometown of Birnin-
Kudu is over for good. I won the Birnin- Kudu/Buji
Federal constituency in 2011. Lamido did
everything possible to deny me victory and I told
him then that I will retire him from politics and we
thank God that promised has come to pass," he
said.
He said what was more demystifying was that
Lamido was defeated even in his ward adding
that the success of the APC is a lesson that no
matter what happens, politicians should always
be humble.

Barely two days to the commencement of the
general polls, Deputy Minority Leader in the
House of Representatives, Mr. Kawu Sumaila, has
resolved his differences with the All Progressives
Congress governorship candidate in Kano State,
Dr. Umar Ganduje, so as to ensure the success
of the party in the Saturday’s and April 11 polls.
The reconciliation followed the intervention of
prominent party leaders, who enjoined the
warring parties to sheath their sword for the
overall success of the party in the general
elections.
Receiving the APC governorship standard bearer
and his deputy, Prof. Hafiz Abubakar, in his
hometown, Sumaila, Kawu told his teeming
supporters that all differences and hostilities
between him and the governorship candidate had
been laid to rest.
While presenting Ganduje before his supporters
on Wednesday, Kawu said the reconciliation
became imperative in view of the need for the
APC to record a landslide victory in the elections.
Ganduje not only thanked the lawmaker but
noted that his decision to support his candidacy
would add tremendous value to the party.
“This reconciliation is the last straw that has
broken the camel’s back. This reconciliation
heralds our triumphant outing in the forthcoming
elections,” he said, urging the party supporters
to work for the success of the party at all levels.

the 19 month salary arrears of the young
engineers recruited by the federal civil service
commission in month/year September/
October/2011 and posted to the ministry.
Ideally when somebody is offered an
appointment letter and he/she did his
documentation and start work he is entitled to
salary, but there case is different because they
have not started receiving their salary until
May, 2013. Few of them were paid their arrears
en-bloc but my brother and others were not
paid up to this time.

They were recruited by Federal Civil Service commission and posted to ministry of works in the year 2011, they did documentation and start work in same 2011 , they started recieving salary from the month of May, 2013. Some who have godfathers among them were paid their 19 month salary arrears but people like my brother were not paid up to this time. I want the mods like lalastica and co to move the topic to front page in order to help them.
