Can someone tell me what exactly is the implication of this BVN.. does it mean the bankers will be accessing our thumb prints before we perform a transaction in the bank ? Also will the normal bank signature used in registering the account be ignored for that of the BVN when I want to withdraw?

They want to corner people's money ni o. How will you take the biometrics of people abroad? Before I did mine,I visited the bank three times when they kept saying their network was down. They think is everyone that has the time to being around the bank always.

I have even done mine twice and they said its not reflecting that I have done it.. who cares, hows that my fault

There is NNPC in Mosinmi, one (Cement, not so sure) industry,
Some hotels.. But schools av the largest percentage

you just showed your ignorance or lack of knowledge in the area of discourse.. I don't give a Bleep if lil wayne or rick ross performs Godwin in a church but lets call a spade a spade, what is wrong is wrong.. Korede is not a gospel mucisian and we all know it, infact his other songs tell it.. merely calling God in a song doesn't make you a gospel artiste and you are therefore not needed in the church which is meant to draw people closer to God.

ogun waterside is a local govenment on his own ...ijebu east is anoda local government ...there is also ijenu north,ijebu north east and ijebu ode..all under ijebu zone...ijebu ife is under ijebu east ,ogbere too..but waterside is on its own

okay.. cos I tried searching for waterside on my Google map but didn't get results but I found Imobi, its close to the lekki lagoon so I was wondering if it was the waterside..lol

Wow good for you.. I hope I will adjust too but a major concern for me is that the place is densely populated and very far from the express roads.. things doesn't seem to be cheap too, although I just bought a drink which usually cost 100 box in lagos for 110.. I don't know the prices of other stuffs tho..

@op I was also posted to a village. Initially I thought the place was horrible, there was no electricity I just couldn't find anything positive to say about the place. But now just one month down the line I like the place. Things are cheap I no fit chop #100 food finish. I'm saving a lot of cash than I would if I were posted to the city. They adore corpers like kilode over here. On the down side I'm still trying to adjust to the food, language barrier and boredom. But corpers have found ways of making the place lively for ourselves. Let's just begin the countdown to when we live.. I'm serving in oyo state as far as I've got Internet connection what more can I ask for?

I read your thread about being posted to a jungle,kinda funny,lol. I had a similar experience. When I first received my posting letter,I'd mixed feelings,considering I dnt knw anywhere in Abia. I was just anxious to go and knw what the place is like. Kai! The proprietor no try at all,the name of that school is a bait;"National sec.sch",I'm sure you can imagine what I imagined...Na im I climb okada,we pass all the fine fine houses come d enter bush,my countenance changed from anxiety to annoyance. When I got to the school I begged the proprietor to give me rejection letter,he refused,plus the fact that am the 1st French corper they've ever had,im no gree sam sam! I cried o. But I've embraced the place now and working towards doing my best in every way. You should too

There in the village, you will buy things very cheap, you may even live happily than those in urban areas.

Nice thread.. *following*.. got posted to a village in Ijebu east too and the area isnt in a good shape, I doubt the population is even up to 70. hoping to drop my footprint before leaving... of course provided I don't relocate due to fear of how densely populated the place is and its kidnap stories..

no pay by the school. . Just the govt at the end of service.. accommodation dey but I no fit stay there either

Bro, the service to the fatherland involves anywhere within its territories. Some corpers get urban places, some get rural places. Just serve your country diligently as much as you are comfortable with.

Its only NYSC that makes people know places like this still exist. I'm a bit of a traveler myself, and I've seen worse places.
