Heard that they have started paying our old arrears even as my principal requested to know how many months of our arrears is still not yet paid saying that ministry requested for the details

Just got a call from my principal demanding to know how many months of arrears of 2014 is still being owed? That the ministry needs the record urgently. Are to add August and September 2014 since the capture month was October?

Ecobank alert received, Tai PPSB.No indication of month and computer number. Also deduction of #3,420.84 was made

Just came back from the schools board now to ask for my pay slip that I may know the reason for the deductions but was told that the material to access the slip is not available and that I should go to finance ministry if I desire to know the reasons. I was also told that the deduction affected every worker in the state. However, someone whispered to me that the deduction was part of our contribution to Rivers @50 anniversary. Imagine that!!!

Just received my confirmation letter today in two original copies from my principal. PPSB, Tai. It is only my own that arrived.

Please am still asking to knw if this is an omission. Some of my colleagues in KELGA PPSB using the same Bank, Unity Bank have been paid March Salary while some others including me are yet to be paid. Is there any school or persons experiencing the same thing?

NUT national lead by Mr.Olukoya currently in the state to get a first hand information about teachers months of unpaid salary and non promotion of teachers and promise to write to the governor to clear our salary arrears.However Nkpogene is telling him that the government has concluded all arrangements to clear the arrears. This Man is very mad.If you see the mansion with high fence the man has built in his village in just a few months you will wonder.

THIS ADMINISTRATION IS BLOODY AND INHUMANE. On rhythm 93.7 fm this morning. It was reported that there are strong indications that the Rivers State Government will start the payment of Teachers today. Rhythm based there information from a strong source from Government House.

Now if they are not owing as they always claim, why the news?

Just heard from Mr.Segun Owolabi that there are strong indications from the government quarters that arrears of teachers salaries will start flowing from today and that of other civil servants. Re- run tricks, however we need our pay.

NLC chairperson Beatrice Itubo said that the state council is currently mediating to ensure that our areas are paid. According to her, the government has agreed to pay two months areas along with the current month until the areas are cleared. However the non existing NUT rubber stamp is still complaining of non payment without biting. Nkpogene must have been bribed from the look of things.

NUT in Phga threatened to embark on an indefinite strike if government failed to pay teachers their months of unpaid salaries. That is what you get when the state NUT is a toothless bull dog.For me no pay no work continues

My principal compiled all our names last two weeks in the normal nominal roll and submitted same to our LGA`s NUT secretary for onward transmission to the NUT chairman. I saw it myself and crosschecked my details.

Education commissioner confirms that he will be going to the finance ministry on Friday along side with the NUT chairman with the list of all those still being owed arrears.Mr. segun reminded him that he was very insensitive to the plight of the teachers as a result of his response to a caller before he now calm down and was seeking for understanding and patience.
