You are aware that NIMASA is using this boats as we speak? They are not hidden anywhere, they are matters of public record? I agree that the boats were bought using a 3rd party and were misrepresented, what I am clarifying is that they are used by militants, that aspect is not true.

The OP is misinterpreting the article, and some people (all the people?) Are not reading i. The Apology is for selling ships that could be used in a conflict zone. In this case NIMASA or the Nigerian Navy using this ships on pirates or on insurgents. The article no where speaks that the ships were sold to insurgents, just that they could have been. Nigeria paid for these ships and they are being used by NIMASA.

Everything else is sensationalist.

OP mis stated this. The charges were thrown out because he has not been arraigned, new court date set for Dec 5. Police failed to arraign him within 90 days so the court has no case against him. note: He was not discharged.
