The recent issue trending on
social media about domestic violence caught
my attention and made me look into my
marriage, I got married to someone I Love and
respect, I have been married before to a very
abusive man who traveled to US with my
money and married a black American which
made me to file for a divorce. Prior to my
current marriage I invested my energy in my
academics and career which to the glory of
God, I am what u will call a successful lady,
now back to the issue.
I never knew my current husband whom I love
and respect came for my money even though
he is not doing bad either. During our
honeymoon in Paris it happens that he was
playing candy crush with my phone when my
June monthly salary alert came in and he saw
that I earn almost 6 figures. That's how he
left every responsibility to me, things starting
getting worst when I buy every pin we use in
the house, I got mad one faithful Saturday
and told him that I can't continue to take care
of everything thing, from the moment I took in,
I was the one paying the bill till I gave birth
to our son in the states.
After the confrontation that Saturday he told
me that I should be happy he married me
after all am second hand and can't leave the
marriage again cos of what people will say,
that I am suppose to be worshiping him. When
he said all this I laughed because he did not
know what am capable of doing.
On the 8th of January I wanted to take my
son to the doctor but he insisted on using my
car stating that he does not have fuel in his
car, ReRe when I started dragging my car key
with him, he slapped me, and tore my blouse
in front of my boy, I was shattered, so I left
the key for him and he drove out with my car.
On getting back inside I told my self that I can
not be abused again in marriage never, I was
ready for the heaven to fall that day, I quickly
went to market bought 200 naira worth of
pepper and blended it, I bought kobo Ko and
rope the kind used in spreading cloths,
immediately he came back I went to him to
ask for forgiveness for dragging the car key
with him, I gave him food and orange juice
which I laced with his sleeping drops as he
has issue sleeping with out his sleeping drops,
and run his bath, I made sure my son was
asleep before carrying out my plans.
Immediately it was 10.00 pm dot and I made
sure he had slept, I tied his legs to the bed
and his hands separately as well, I used duck
tape to tape his mouth then I woke him up
with a very hot lashes, I started flogging him
on his bare back, after which I showed him
the pepper and threatened to put them in his
eyes and his private parts.
I told him that if he ever lay a finger on me
again that I will kill him and that going
forward that I will never be spending kobo on
the house up keep, then I untied one of his
hand and gave him a paper which I have
ready type and printed from his studies which
states that if any of us files for a divorce that
he or she will pay the other 8 million naira,
made space for a witness which my bestie
who is a lawyer signed as a witness the next
day.
I also took pix of his small sick looking
manhood with his face showing and told him
that I will drop it all over the Internet accusing
him of adultery and that he was caught with
another man's wife and got tied up and
beaten. I made sure that i flogged him well
that night then left him like that till morning.
I was so scared to untie him the next morning
but I made sure i took the agreement to my
friend first before untying him, and when I
eventually did he went straight to the
bathroom, took his shower soaked the bed
sheets that he urinated on, then he asked for
his breakfast.
Ever since then I have known nothing but
peace in my home, he takes care of all the
bills and even takes us on summer vacations,
he bought me a small car. This happened 2
months ago.
