Csami:
i need help with this code

I have a form which i collect the input using a post method

[i<form method="post" autocomplete="on" enctype="multipart/form-data">
<div class="form-group">

<label for="name" class="mr-sm-2" id="tag"></label>
<select class="form-control" id="categoryname" name="category">
<option value="">---SELECT CATEGORY---</option>
<?php
$sql = "SELECT * FROM category";
$res = mysqli_query($connection, $sql);
while ($r = mysqli_fetch_assoc($res)) {
?>
<option value="<?php echo $r['id']; ?>"><?php echo $r['categoryname']; ?></option>
<?php } ?>
</select>

<label for="name" class="mr-sm-2" id="tag"></label>
<input type="text" class="form-control" id="title" placeholder="Title" name="title" required>

<label for="content" class="mr-sm-2" id="tag"></label>
<textarea class="form-control" rows="10" id="content" placeholder="content" name="content" required></textarea>

<label for="pic" class="mr-sm-2" id="tag">Profile Picture</label>
<input type="file" class="form-control" name="pic" id="pic" placeholder="Picture">
<br>

<button class="btn btn-info" type="submit">post</button>
</div>
</form>][/i]

Here is the php

if (isset($_POST) & !empty($_POST)) {
$category = $_POST['category'];
$title = mysqli_real_escape_string($connection,$_POST['title']);
$content = mysqli_real_escape_string($connection,$_POST['content']);

$image = $_FILES['pic']['name'];

$target = "uploads/".basename($image);

move_uploaded_file($_FILES['pic']['tmp_name'], $target);

$sql = "INSERT INTO posts (userid, categoryid, post_title, post_content, post_image) VALUES ('$userid', '$category', '$title', '$content', '$image')";
$result = mysqli_query($connection, $sql);

if ($result) {
header("location: viewpost.php ";
}else{
$fmsg = "Failed to post";
}
}

The problem is that the page i'm directing to throws me this errors because i don't know how to capture the id

Notice: Undefined index: id in C:\xampp\htdocs\project\viewpost.php on line 14

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\project\viewpost.php on line 69

<?php
$postsql = "SELECT * FROM posts WHERE id = $id";
$postquery = mysqli_query($connection, $postsql);
if ($postquery->num_rows > 0) {
while($row = $postquery->fetch_assoc()) {
$post_title = $row['post_title'];
$userid = $row['userid'];
$post_date = $row['post_date'];
$post_image = $row['post_image'];
$post_content = $row['post_content'];
?>

The bold is causing the error cause i don't how to capture the id using GET method in a POST form

pls, I s der any way u can guilde me to make a simple app using code block and c language... I know they r many alternative but I've codeblock installed and I'm currently learning c (from basic thou). Someone should put me through.

Dear NL users,

Please I have been having an issue disturbing me which I wouldnt like to share here.

All I want is where you think I can get a powerful seer/traditionalist/prophet/herbalist who can tell me my present issue.

I won't tell the person anything, he should tell me what the problem is, show evidence, thereafter we can start talking.

Please nobody should tell me about Jesus. I dont believe in him anymore. Do not preach to me telling me to give my life to Christ. There are many born again Christians also facing terrible situations, so spare your preaching please.

Now back to my request. Where do you think I can find such a great and powerful native doctor who sees things and can tell me what happened and exactly how it happened?

Only for serious and mature people who understand juju/traditionalists/jazz/charms/spiritual problems.

Please help. Mind you, I'm more of a Science person than religion but strange happenings call for strange approaches.

Merlin....a great SEER

awwfar:
yea u can download the free version online but it's waste of data and money cos it's over 3gigs..when you can get the software disc in a store around 200# to 500# ..infact it's around 150-200 here in the southwest.. so wherever u are, just locate those selling pirated softwares.. mostly at those computer accessories stores.. tell them you need music production Software :Fruity loops ( the latest version is FL20.. buy anyone u see even if it's FL 10,11 or 12 ) they are all cool..

wao.... Thanks so much... I'll get this 2moro

awwfar:
for a starter you only need a midi controller (if you can't get it now, no qualms.. u can still practice with only your system), a good headphone and a daw (Fruity loop /Fl studio is the most user friendly daw you can get for a starter) when u understand the basics and you're confident you want to take it as a career, you can think of buying an audio interface (soundcard), a mic, studio monitor (speakers) that time...

and u need to understand it takes time, persistence, seriousness and focus to get it right, it can be really frustrating but once u don't give up.. u will get there

will I get this to download online or a site u can direct me to in other to avoid clone apps... Thanks so much.. I'll update the process here as I proceed

I have passion for this producer stuff...been online for days now searching for a trusted and good software to set up a bit to no avail...anyway u can carry me along on this..some oda tins i need ...I've a laptop ,steady light ,sound system, mic ...what else did i need especially as a starter ...thanks

I want to thank all those who have followed this thread. It's been an exciting experience.

The objective is to set up an online business and lay down the process for everyone to see.

You know, my definition of an online business is not affiliate marketing, or one of those joker's (pardon me, it's my opinion).

To build a profitable online business, you need to get a good idea that's validated, structure your implementation plan, get a good marketing strategy (free or paid) and get to work.

My stats:
My target was to set up a simple online business with a budget of N50k, a membership website with paid subscription as revenue model, and hope to acquire 200 paid users by the end of December - 6 months.

I started this process less than 2 weeks ago and I have achieved the following;

- website completed and available to the public

- I used a pre-launch marketing strategy which required a waiting list and an online buzz.

- The buzz I did on social media was more effective on LinkedIn as 2 or 3 posts went viral raking in a combined 25,000+ views and hundreds of comments. One of the posts is attached.

- Over 1,000 people joined the waiting list.

- The site was opened by 9am this morning

- less than 4 hours after launching, I got over 40 new registrations with almost half of them becoming paid subscribers.

- I receive over 10 new registrations every hour. And it's still counting.

So, in all. It's been a smooth ride.

Ciao.

how is it going....i may not b qualify to work so d subscription might be a waste...dont u think many r in my shoe
