I lost the above phn somewhere in port Harcourt around market junction.



Phone is on double lock...screen lock and power lock, it would require for code before it can be switch off except if the battery goes off by it self and requires a code when you put it on before the screen lock and network page will display.



The issue now is that I was dragging road with some drivers while driving,I came down run around to clear the road which I successfully cleared,just some minutes after that scene,I remember my phn and it's switched off already wen I called it.



I was surprised because I still had almost 20% battery and my data is not on,Ds shd allowed my phn last for at least more 4hrs. I drove back to see if it was broken by a car or something,search everywhere for it's remnants and couldn't and am left shocked.



Now my question is how do you guys put off Samsung note 8 with those locks off so quick and what trick could have worked for that, meanwhile I can track the phone because immediately a new sim is inserted it will send message to my second line and the phn is registered on my Samsung mobile.i am hoping on using those features to track it down immediately they put it to use.







WHO CAN GIVE ME CLEAR IDEA ON HOW THEY OPEN IT, preferably someone who has either use or work on latest Samsung. I'm of the opinion the phn was smashed and someone picked the remaining part and go home.

...any way my gist is getting to long. There is an man that has always been a father to me. He helped me through school. I really thank him. As in he has done alot. The man just like me for no reason.and has been helping me since I was young. Anyway he called me and then after explaining to him how things has been for him.

He called again after a month. He said he has a deal for me.

The deal is that, he wants to sponsor me to go to canada. I forgot to add, he stays in Austria. Him and his family. So the deal is about 2.5 million naira, so he said he going to work everything for me that includes international passport,visa, airplane ticket, accommodation and also the package includes work also. but the deal is that. He will pay about. 850k. To get me there first. Then when am there and have started working I'll pay 1.8 million to the agency $4k.

So that's the deal. The 850k he is just using that to help me.actually he himself he paying 650k to the agency and giving me 200k as pocket money. Then when I get there I can work and give the agency the remaining 1.85 million.

So please guys, what to do you think. My fears is going to a country I don't know anyone at all, there is so much risk involved canada far o and will I be ainfi ble to pay up the money. I don't want to owe gbese that I can't pay back.

What do you guys think?
Should I go ahead? Or remain in naija?

info anyone who could find you when they didn't hear from you. Drop contacts,agency address,father figure phn num and address ,ur photograph, necessary information, probably ur destination address too to people u trust. If u don't trust anyone, nairaland can be of help too.most importantly...PRAY,PRAY and re check ur luggage properly so de won't sow drugs inform of suit give you. If I were you, I would have drained the oil immediately I heard the sound for the first time.

1. I think the previous owner of that car was using 20W 50 oil for an extended period. But wasn't changing the oil regularly, hence sludge built up inside the engine.

2. You now poured synthetic oil into the engine which washed off all the built up sludge, causing engine components to grind against each other.

Check if the car is smoking.

3. It's likely the oil you bought is fake.

If I were you, I'd drain the oil immediately and pour Mobil 20W 50 into the car and observe.

That sound appears like there is no oil at all inside the engine.

Remember, all I have just said are mere conjectures.

I really wish you luck because that engine sounds like it's gone.

no smoke,not even with cold start but that noise is der. But u have some lights der whc d owner says it's not bad...ABS, CHECK ENGINE, master warming. Scanned and the issues were engine cam shaft, 02 sensor

Poor inspection before purchase. The oil is not high quality , but will not cause knocking sounds so quick.

chai... Kazeem are sometime useless.. Inspected and all of this were not der and d kazeem was even the one dat certify it.
Been hearing ds noise since servicing and he is saying oil is yet to circulate... Will ds engine be able to go back to. Cool sounds like ds?... I will take it out now . Anywhere to get a quality oil online because i dont trust ds shops anymore

You were asking about this palm oil in engine oil container, and people warned you but you didn’t listen to them rather you trust you mechanics advice.

hahahha... The palm oil is already inside bfor i came here nah... Didnt know it was palm oil though.

This is what I infer from the whole scenario:

1. You used the wrong Engine Oil, not what the maker recommended, because I can see it's 5W20;

2. You flooded the engine with the oil, above the required volume needed, which should be at most 4 and 1/2 litres;

3. These anomalies could have affected the health of your engine, given that you embarked on a journey immediately after the service;

4. I advise you immediately take the car to a renowned service centre, especially those located inside filling stations. You change both the filter, and the oil, and don't forget to use the oil that the previous owner uses, and if that's not possible, kindly be using Mobil 2000 semi-synthetic.

Did you ask the previous owner the oil he uses to service the car? Did you use the right quantity? Is the filter the right one for the car?

yes, he put all of it. The mechanic, the previoud owner is badly sick and i cud not get info from him at d moment. Hoping to get it if he did not die

The 0031 and 0037 are related to oxygen sensors. But before you change anything try to clean the A/F sensor, check the air filter to see if it is dirty. Also check to see if any wire harness is cut or not properly fix to the socket. Also, try and read about these codes. They are already here on nairaland. Just search with these codes

thanks sir. Fitter was dirty.. I changed it already, bought new one bt was not closing well, i manage put it, i planned to cut d edge because its d same size.

That is what we have been saying. This is related to cam shaft. Kindly inspect the engine physically to check for loosed wire harness and connectors. Get a good mechanic to do this if you can't do it. Also, check online for possible solution. It is a common issue. If you are in Lagos contact gazzuzz or Kingreign if you are in Abuja

thanks so much, pls among d code is anyone talking about catalyst der because my mechanic says it has not been touched plus could der be any reason why d fuel doesnt last in d code or this is how 2.0 sucks fuel. 2k fuel only take me from ikorodu to gbagada and less dan a km turn around.. Fuel is already in Extra(low fuel)

Should be a rattling noise. Nothing to do with knock. But have you scan the scar for codes? Advise you to scan and share the codes here. If you can buy the obd Bluetooth scanner, then you can do it on your own.

I want to learn ds... Let me consult Google because check engine light and ABS shows and d mechanic say may be de ve work on it and clearing it is d issue dat car is working fine. Gear selects well and everything works except d noise but I want to get rid of d lights.

Firstly you need to isolate where the noise is coming from, is it from the top, middle or under??

close to the alternator belt, seems from the engine sha... That's where d sounds is coming from. It's top.

Cam shaft gear noise is noticed when you have a cold start and goes away when the car is warm. It has to do with oil circulation as well because majority of us are not using the specified oil. GazzuZZ and Kingreign are the professionals to do justice here

My corrola 10 dat I just bought naija used makes some sound after I serviced it and d mechanic says it's self adjustment nut inside the engine that it's not a knocking sound. He fired the car to prove it and nothing happened. Prior to purchase there was no sound but d engine has been worked on before.
Now I don't know what sound could dat be and the engine doesn't smoke. I tend to travel wit d car to rivers state but I'm not really happy wit ds state of d vehicle.
He called d nut "cam shaff" inside the engine, I didn't get d right pronunciation as I presume ds shd be in kazeem dico. It's not camshaft according to him but ds cam is inside the engine and it's self adjusting. When the oil circulates well it will disappear but it hasn't from around 9am to 5pm... Pls help

COROLLA 2010 or 2011 uses 0w20 ....... Am sure there is a reason the owner sold the car ...... I usually don't recommend mechanics .. But if u lucky enough to find a good 1 . have them check the car thoroughly

he make use of 5W 20. The previous owner sold it because he was broke which is obvious... But ds is Nigeria,it may b normal strategy, he has no cash inside his account and has been borrowing money prior to my payment..
I will ask him the previous oil he uses.
The next issue now is, I hear some noise after service from the engine which I presumed knocking sounds but the mechanic says otherwise so he fired the vehicle and the engine didn't knocked, he says there's some self adjustment nuts called cam inside the engine that is yet to settle, he says when de do, the noise will go off. No smoke and that engine dat is given knocking sound will make more knocking sound when fired but this didn't instead the sounds get better when you fired it. Still waiting for when the sounds will go off.

Is ds oil good for corrola 2010 for servicing.
