Business / MONEY GAME: 3 Painful Reasons Why Spending Recklessly Hurts You More by HameenAbdul(m): 2:18am On Apr 14, 2021
Money doesn't buy happiness but it can make you awfully comfortable while you're being miserable" - Claire L.

There's no denying the fact that spending is fun. We all want to buy Ice creams, spend 10k on data, eat out at every eatery possible,
have multiple chunks of meat on every meal we have, three Shawarmas at three different joints every evening, use 5k perfumes,
spend at least 2k on Suya, change our phones to a newer one because, well......we feel like it, eating six times a day and so on.

There's nothing particularly wrong with these things. The only issue here is that we are using the money we earned from actively working, i.e,
we are spending away the time and effort we gave in order to earn that money.

Before you get angry for trying to take away everything you love spending money on, let me explain.

See, it's not the things we buy that is the problem. It's the time and effort we're never getting back that holds the real issue. It's hard
to admit but spending money you earned from actively working is coming to bite you back.

You might ask, "How can spending REALLY cause pain?"

1) You Lose Your Happiness:
According to factual details about the relationship of money with happiness, M.J De Marco in his book, The Millionaire Fastlane, outlined 3 core pillars that our happiness as a human being stem from aside from the basics (food, clothing & shelter). Make just one error in one of these pillars and the resultant output will be gross unhappiness.

The 3 Pillars:
I. Freedom (Choice)
II. Family & Friends (Relationships)
III. Fitness (Health)

Here is how spending recklessly causes you pain:
When we spend, we lose money. When we lose money, we have less to meet our upcoming needs. When our needs come up, we borrow money to meet these needs.

Now, that money we borrowed, that debt, is the main chain holding our happiness down.

How can you be truly happy when the money you could have used to eat, you spent on an item you don't really need?
How can you be truly happy when you can't offer any help to any of your family member looking up to you for help?
How can you be truly happy when you keep falling sick from not eating well?
How can you be truly happy when you can't take good care of your self when you fall ill?
How can you be truly happy when you know half of the salary at the end of the month is going to Emeka whom you borrowed money from?

Can you decide not to go to work again when you have a lot of debt on your hands? Absolutely not. You need to keep working so as to pay up your debt. The lack of choice or freedom in deciding to take out a week to rest can cause one great unhappiness. Even more so, when one has to go to work despite being sick because you know your lender will show you pepper.

If your lender is an entity like the bank, no one will tell you not to go to work. Why? Because that bank will forcefully take what was once yours when you fail to pay up. When you keep working just to stay afloat, life becomes tasteless.

And tastelessness bring unhappiness;

You quickly begin to lose the drive for life;

You lose progress;

You lose direction;

You can't see your life progressing;

...and you lose hope.

2) You Lose Out On Critical Life Opportunities:
Take a moment and look around. Have you noticed that no one has the connection to choose one's parents or the country one will be born in? We all are not given the same amount of resources, connections or wealthy family members.

That is why it's very important you take advantage of every opportunity, leverage and resource at your disposal. We're very serious about this. For example, consider the training program on how to generate 750k per month online by Mr Toyin Omotoso, one of Nigeria's foremost coaches on personal finance, costs #45, 000. Spending recklessly makes you unable to take advantage of an opportunity like this. When you can't take advantage of opportunities like this, your chances of making more money becomes slim.

When you can't make more money, you can't live life the way you really want to. There is and will always be a limit to what you can buy, how many you can buy, where you can buy and for whom you can buy for.

3)You Lose Growth:
What do you think happens when you're making little money to take care of you and your family when you're soaked in debt when you have little to no savings or when you're beginning to hate your job? You simply don't make progress.
And in life, you're either growing or dying. Continually living like this makes one a slave to money and that cycle repeats itself until one decided to break out of it.

Learn this information and apply accordingly.

Till we meet again,
Your man,
Abdul.

Business / MONEY GAME: Your Ultimate Fuel Source by HameenAbdul(m): 3:39am On Apr 05, 2021
[/img]

Hey, listen to this! Which of these things below do you want?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Money to throw parties?
Money for data, and in whatever amount you want?
Money to pay for your sibling's education?
Money to get an apartment in Lekki?
Money for a Camry Muscle?
Money for your own education?
Money to travel abroad?
Peace-of-mind kind of money?
Do-you-know-who-I-am kind of money?
.....and so on.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good! I have two pieces of news for you. Feel free to categorise them as good news or bad news.

First News: This will change your life tremendously in ways you can't comprehend
Second News: It won't be easy.

If you've decided to make money for one or any other reason above, I can't help but congratulate you.

Why?

This is because I have witnessed, first hand, the derogatory effects of poverty. Yes, first hand! For you to decide to change your financial life for good gives me great joy. Not just that, I'll personally give you a list of all the resources I have come across that has helped me in my journey and are still helping me.

Now, to the crust of the matter. This path you have chosen, my friend, will test you in ways you can phatom.
- You won't be able to buy things as you normally do anymore;

- You'll need to begin to read and soak up knowledge more;

- You'll begin making tough decisions

- Making sacrifices will become routine

- Those 10 hours you use in sleeping will be subsidized.

Heck, this is just the beginning.

Was this piece meant to scare you/

Definitely, NO!

It's meant to prepare you for what is to come.

There is, however, ONE THING I know of that can pull you through the hardest of temptations and through the deepest of downturns...

This thing is YOUR WHY.....................YOUR REASON FOR WANTING TO BE FINANCIALLY WELL OFF

This thing is YOUR WHY.....................YOUR REASON FOR WANTING TO BE FINANCIALLY WELL OFF

* Why is it important to work on improving your finances before you eat in the morning?
* Why is it extremely vital to delay spending recklessly?
* Why is it important for you to not sleep until you finish the work you had to do that day?
* Why is it important for you to prefer spending money on improving yourself than on spending it on something else?

WHY! WHY!! WHY!!

If all you can come up with are some reasons that do not put fire in your body, then you've not dug well enough.

For me, some of my WHYs went like this:
- I want to have money to buy as much shawarma as I want.
- I want to be able to buy original and durable clothes instead of going for "bend down select" or buy two take one free.
- I want to be able to afford anything I want without subjecting myself to mental gymnastics about whether I can afford it or not.
- I want to be able to take good care of those who are important to me.
- I want to visit Dubai, Kenya, Seychelles and Brazil.
- I want to be able to help my close friends financially whenever they need help.....and so on.

Think:

* How badly do you want to go to the university while sponsoring yourself?
* How badly do you hate that your small, "face me I blow you" room?
* What do you want to be able to afford?
* How badly do you want to leave this country?
* Who do you want to prove wrong?
* How badly do you want to leave your parent's house and be independent?
* How badly do you want to feel the blessing that comes from asking people for their account number?
* What girl do you love so much that you want to be able to take good care of her when you marry her?
* Who do you want to help?

Find where God has situated the numerous filling stations in you because you are going to need thousands of gallons of petrol on this journey. These WHYs you have written down will act as petrol for when your energy runs dry, when you hit a roadblock or when you're about to give up. These fuel stations will push you when you need it the most, strengthen you when you become tired and provide you with the energy to keep pressing forward.

In the end, it won't all be sad moments. There will also be really good moments upfront, so, be mindful. Be rest assured that this journey will strengthen you, toughen you up and make your bank account heavier in the not so distant future. Trust me, it'll be worth it.

Till we meet again,

Your Friend,

Abdulrahaman

Business / Re: MONEY GAME: How Reading This Book Changed My Financial Life Forever by HameenAbdul(m): 1:33pm On Apr 04, 2021
I wish you all the very best!
Business / MONEY GAME: How Reading This Book Changed My Financial Life Forever by HameenAbdul(m): 1:27pm On Apr 04, 2021
I wrote this post to discuss a silent money issue that affects a lot of Nigerians— I call it silent because many have never heard of it but I was extremely lucky to discover this when I was 20 years old.

I first learnt about this issue from T. Harv Eker, the best-selling author of Secrets of The Millionaire Mind, with over 5 million copies sold worldwide about what drives money to you and from you.

I decided to pay for this book with the little savings I had and ever since I began learning about the concepts in the book, I began to realize how powerful the issue was.

I not only realize it was driving my earnings, I also realized it was driving my spending.

What is this issue?

It is the false, mental programming we and those around us have been exposing us to for years. Most people, like me, have been replaying these wrong scripts for years.

This false programming not only lost me a lot of money, it also caused me the most emotional and physical pain.

Do you know how painful it is to be constantly and consistently broke?

It’s even more painful when I realized it was still this same programming that I blindly followed that made me buy life-changing books and not read them. It was still this same rubbish programming that made me spend any money I get my hands on like I have a house inside of GTBank’s vault.
You won’t imagine the anger I had inside me when I discovered this secret. It was this anger I later used to destroy all of the garbage that was stored inside my head.

During all those times, my brain didn’t have a choice but to follow this programming. And guess what my brain did — it made sure I couldn’t think of ground-breaking money ideas to shoot me out of poverty. I can’t blame it.
But you reading this now have a new chance to get your money game together. Since you took the time to read this, I’ll make it worth it.
Just take this exercise I want to give you seriously. You’ll be glad you did.

THE EXERCISE:
- When next you receive any amount of money, before you begin buying anything, get a pen and paper.

- Find a quiet place to sit OR go to that place you desire to spend your money. It can be a bar or an eatery(Please, do this!). Let’s use suya and
shawarma as an example.

- Now, while having the suya and shawarma joint in front of you, ask yourself, “why do I want to spend my money on this suya or this shawarma?
Your brain might say, “because I feel like eating it” or whatever it comes up with. Then write it down.

- Then ask yourself again, “why do I feel like eating it?” and wait for the reply. Keep digging deep into this until you find that demon.

Do this for even 5minutes and you’ll begin to hear all the reasons your mind is giving you as an excuse to spend that money. This, my friend, is the demon you have been looking for.

Finding the maggot in your skin is one thing, healing that wound is another. Leaving that wound without treating it leaves room for another attack.
Today is your lucky day because I have also discovered this cure. It was a body of wisdom put together by one of Nigeria’s top expert on personal finance. His name is Toyin Omotoso.

The moment I began using this wisdom of his, my ability to keep money, make money and follow through on things I need to do to make more money has been astounding.

This wisdom that’ll cure you of each of your financial worries is titled, “How To Turn Yourself Into A Live Breathing Cash Machine”

This particular book then gave me the final roadmap to retrain the bad programming my mind had been exposed to for years……....YEARS!
Here is why this article is coming to you: To save you from the more painful moments this false programming is planning for you in the not so distant future.

I had no access to an article like this when I was operating on false knowledge. Now, you have the opportunity to take this decision to turn your financial life forever.

JUST SIMPLY DO THE FOLLOWING:
(1) Do the exercise I gave you earlier to uncover that maggot.
(2) CLICK THIS LINK to treat that wound permanently by reprogramming yourself into someone who can generate cash on-demand, anytime!

To your escape from bad programming,

Goodluck!

P.S: In case you missed it, CLICK HERE to get the link to access this wisdom on how to reprogram your mind for financial success.

Education / MONEY GAME: Regretful Incident That Taught Me The Most Sense In 2020 by HameenAbdul(m): 3:52am On Jan 11, 2021
What if you could take an action now and avoid massive regret and pain?

It happened in March 2020.

My University closed its doors, office operations went on hold and schools were told to shut down until further notice. And this closure caught me at a REALLY bad time. Bad time meaning — I had no ample money on hand…….or in my bank account.

Fear gripped all the valves of my heart and sucked the air out of my lungs. It was one of the most insecure periods of my existence. For the first time ever since I could remember, I have never been that intensely scared before!

For the first time since I could remember, I have never been that intensely scared before!

This particular fear was so real, I could metaphorically smell it. The issue wasn’t Covid but the abrupt changes it brought with it.
I was utterly unprepared!

I then wrote down everything those dark, fearful periods taught me and two stood out for me. My hope is you will not take these lessons at face value but inculcate them and really follow through on them. If you don't, there is a good probability you will meet yourself in this situation or even worse.

It is not a curse but a mathematical probability. And If there is one thing I can categorically say about Mathematics, it is that…

Math is Law

The number 10 will always be lesser than the number 1 million and you can’t take out 50 from 35 without ending with a deficit.

The 2 Most Important Lessons
LESSON 1: When it comes to finances, income comes.........(finish reading it here)

I wish you the very best as you get to implement these.
