I totally agree with the poster that said the 5 banks are now the strongest! They have FG funds and will nw aggressively pursue loan recovery with the full backing of the CBN. Let everybody relax! I have substantial funds with Oceanic and Intercontinental and have not witnessed any reduction in service delivery.my suppliers get their money when they present my cheques.anyway let's pray that Lamido doesn't lose steam and continues progressive reforms until our financial sector gets a sound footing.

Good morning y'all, this major shakeup to the financial sector may have been necessary but i would have been more convinced that there's no hidden agenda if audits had been completed on ALL 24 banks before a decision like this was made.i sincerely hope Lamido is not acting out someone's script! If not,he should ensure that these 5 banks are protectd from hostile takeovers by selfish cartels. I also expect him to be very visible over the weekend to prevent a run on these banks on monday! Management of this situation is key at this point.

This is a sad turn of events.why do we waste public funds on a rebranding campaign when our leaders are hellbent on dragging our name in the mud. The semi-illiterate group of bozos around d presidency need to stop disgracing themselves. Where was the Minister of Foreign Affairs when Clinton landed.We can't afford the potential economic repercussions if the US govt takes offence!
