Waste to energy and gas are the only viable sources currently available and less expensive in Anambra. We can also try wind power but I am totally against Solar and Dams in Anambra.

Its just unfortunate. It only take "love for ones land" for him or her to decide to build something of economic importance for the state. Igbo men love "one man business" that is why we have thousands of medium scale industries, even I myself find it difficult to request for financial assistance from anybody who has plans to own a share of business. Century power has been working on its power plant for over 2 years now and they are at 400 MW and still heading to 2000 MW, if other companies had brought in their inputs, they would have gotten to, at least 1000MW by now.

Maybe Obiano should be thinking of creating a platform for joint-partnership.

Actually inviting them to embark on joint-venture. Perhaps Anambra state should establish financial institution or building sociaty to that effect.

The state acts as a middle man or business broker.

Constant power supply in Anambra and a power generation of 2000 MW will lead to the growth of every single business in Anambra from the pure water seller to the pure water manufacturer to every other big industry in the state. In fact, you will not believe the rate at which the Anambra state economy will grow within a short time, no wonder Century power is planning to build a 2000 MW power plant in Okija to serve the entire Anambra because Obi Jackson knows how much he will generate in return and how much it will boost the state's economy.

I agree but we must learn to distinguish fantasy from reality.

If we are talking power generation for the whole Anambra, the question is wat is the best means of generation sufficient power state wide?

Is it solar, wind, gas, biofuel, waste to energy conversion or building dam somewhere along the River Niger?

That is a major challenge, so we prioritise and focus on industrial areas for a start.

Development is a slow process wen u are short of funds, we do wat we can at the moment to grow the economy in other to do more tomorrow.
