There is nothing like SS/SE.
Ph is SS regional hub. While the likes of Calabar, Benin, Uyo are there to compliment it.

Ph ( the tail), a minority city, cannot wag the dog (Enugu), a majority city, the resilient capital of Igboland, where even Eze Ndiigbo Gburugburu, lived permanently as his place of residence.
If it were in olden days, you will be offered to Igwekala or Agbala for the abomination you just uttered above. How dare you insult the great Ndiigbo by insinuating that an Ikwerre-Ijaw city that couldn't even make the resilient city category, be foisted on us. Taa! Ikwuo aru!

Enugu is the regional air hub for SE, and can as well serve states like Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa , Taraba, if well developed.

Netherlands is smaller than Igboland in landmass and population, yet has 5 standard international airports.(Eelde Airport Groningen, Eindhoven Airport Eindhoven,
Maastricht/aachen Airport Maastricht,
Rotterdam Zestienhoven Airport Rotterdam, and
Schiphol Airport Amsterdam.)

Ndiigbo can have Ebonyi, Anambra, Owerri airports all going international, while like Amsterdam airport, Enugu remains the centre of unity.
All we need is to bring wealth home and increase the living standard and earning power of the average Igbo, such that Air transport can become more affordable to large number of our populace.

But what wouldn't happen is an Ikwerre-Ijaw airport foisted on us as an airhub, aimed at draining our capital out of Igboland. Go tell your masters that the agenda was brought in dead. If they were counting on Igbo passengers to keep that Ikwerre airport alive, they are up for a rude awakening.

PH is the regional air hub of the SE ad SS. The one Ebonyi is building will serve Enugu and Ebonyi states in future. The one Anambra is building will serve Delta, Imo and Anambra states.

A very laudable project.
We must make our region the number one airhub in West Africa region, since nature denied us of outrigh coastlines.
People don't know that landlocked nature of Ethiopia is why they channeled their energy into the air, and are today Far ahead in Air transport, in Africa.

Ndiigbo must start thinking along this same line, while we consider other available sea/river port options.

I belong to Ikwo /Ezza/ Izzi forums and I had once lived in Abakaliki.
I know the prevalent sentiments and mindsets, amongst Ndi Ebonyi. Cut them some slack. Those people suffered the most neglect under the Eastern region
I know it wasn't intentional, but they still did suffer.

Ojukwu really missed out on this one. What a joy it would have been to see him board an international flight from his permanent residence in Enugu, to visit Igbo communities in every part of the world, promoting Igwebuike and Aku luo uno.

How many Ebonyi people have been in positions of authority to re write the story of Igboland? Not many of them.
The Ebonyi commoners I know a very patriotic to Igbo nation. Ebonyi state is an IPOB stronghold, and this only stems from How these people love Igboland. They had been derided and insulted by naive and ignorant ones amongst us, some even question they right to claim Igbo, because of the divergence of their dialects to Igbo Izugbe, yet these lots a proudly Igbos. I think you are being a bit unfair to them here.
Remember that the only well positioned Ebonyi man, Mazi Akanu Ibiam, who incidentally, the Enugu international Airport is named after, relinquished her British national awards, in protest against Britain for their role in the Biafran war.
Dick Tiger, an Igbo man from Imo state, AmaIgbo precisely, gave up an illustrious boxing career to come home and fight for Biafra.

Do not belittle their big contributions to the welfare of Igboland with such unfair remarks.

Let's not play into the hands of our enemies who have been working steadfastly to break the things that hold us together, have us fall apart, so that they can foist their own interests on us.
Notice how one of them claim that Ph airport should serve SE/SS, while at the same time, claiming that there are nolonger regional arrangements, that all states should build their own airport, but get mad when we tell him that Ph will serve Rivers people only( Ijaw and Ikwerre)

Notice who they work tirelessly to pitch all SE states against each other here, to prevent us from standing as a single entity. To conquer a people, you must first divide them. It's straight up from the old power play book.
They work so hard to emphasize on our state identities and de-emphasize on our Igbo unity tag, they have been on this mission from day 1 on this thread. They probably think they are wise, using multiple monikers to claim multiple SE states and then attack each other.
It's all too hilarious. These people don't seem to understand how the Igbo mindset works, if they do, they wouldn't be wasting their MBs on such useless ventures that can't even work online, let alone off line.
