What IPOB needs to do is become and internal and external pressure group with splinter issues for all Igbo politicians to answer to that will show whether or not they will represent the Igbo collective.

In America, Black Americans make politicians promise reparations for slavery before they can get their vote.

IPOB needs to bring forth issues that Igbo can rally around. Like if Igbo agree on a 6th state and it's location, that will be the new Igbo issue that all Igbo politicians will speak on how they will bring that about. Next will be a port, or railways. Basically Igbo should become singular issue voters based on specific tangibles.

Once these items are identified and Igbo force politicians who seek Igbo support to lay their plans out, Igbo then monitor those politicians and remove them if they waiver.

This is how you create an Igbo Agenda based on Igbo empowerment. Currently, Igbo have no clear agenda.

Your concern is "Ndigbo" in SW. Yet, you cannot bring yourself to think about how Ndi Igbo, who probably provide more GDP per capita, can be leveraged in SW both as an act of good faith and to learn from the Amotekun implementation, and maybe even establish some level of equity in Amotekun, since there are Igbo in SW who probably have enough combined affluence to make make themselves (and consequently Ndi Igbo) stakeholders. Using one's head, there are so many other things that can be discussed about the implications of Amotekun instead of being so focused on presidency. The precedence that can be established takes us one step closer towards devaluing the presidency, if it is something that can be harnessed and controlled well enough.

But you won't see that. even as persistent security concerns continue to plague Nigeria. Now, if I am misunderstanding all the news I have so far been observing concerning Amotekun, then please, enlighten me. Something stupidly funny happened when I was making this video. We recorded the video inside our University's gym/dance studio and I played Ogene music all through the session. When had finished shooting, one man walked up to me and told me he recognised the sound of the Ogene music and told me he heard it's usually used by African tribes to make incantations and appease the gods.

Then he proceeded to ask me the most ridiculous question ever; He asked if I was playing the ogene music and dancing the way I did because I wanted to ask my ancestors to send us snow and make the weather normal again. (Saint Petersburg is currently experiencing the warmest weather in its history due to climate change)
