Satellite TV Technology / Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by hancock(m): 6:08pm On Mar 05, 2018
Thanks
I read all your comments and I became more confused lol grin
Definitely I know there would be pros and cons for both types of inverters.
I would probably just have to make up my mind and go with either one of the two and damn the consequences
Thanks again

Hi all
i have asked this question in another thread but i felt i should bring it up hear for a quicker response

Would you advice i buy a normal 3kva inverter and buy a charge controller separately or getting the hybrid inverter of the same spec?
PS the hybrid standalone inverter seems to be cheaper than the normal inverter + charge controller cost wise. Any reason why?

Hello and well come in advance .
i would try my best to answer ur questions to the best of my abilities

1) For updates i doubt it can be paused as the console is unuseable during the update period . and i also wld advice doing updates with a gen on to prevent stories that touch .or better still u can download the update file unto a flash drive and install from the flash drive offline .
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution
as for the games being downloaded, yes u can always resume ur download. i am currently downloading mad max and have being on it for over 2 days now.

2) No, u dont have to worry abt Pal /Ntsc all dat is old news. but u have to take into consideration the xbox store u wld want to be affiliated with. i am using the US xbox store.

3) As for the speed anything over 200kbps wld do fine for online gaming. ur greatest challenge should be latency issues which i suffer when i use smile network to play games like battlefield and call of duty. i now use Glo as their netwrk is better in my area and takes care of the latency issue.

U may not really need a step down transformer as my xbox one s supports voltage from 110-240v. my advice is dat u check and confirm.

Do have a great day and welcome to the XBOX family .
Enjoy

Yes to all what you said. Bought my xbox one s from the US last month and no need for a step down, PAL/NTSC debacle
I use wifi.com.ng and they have unlimited package with download speeds of 16mbs. Tried gaming online with FIFA 18 and was able to play for over 2 hours with little hitches. wink

Please has anyone tried WiFi.com.ng service, they claim to have unlimited data plan?
I am currently using wifi.com.ng (Tizeti) after i jumped ship on Ntel grin Went back to Swift but wasn't really satisfied so i researched more on wifi.com.ng
Advantages: Unlimited data, Constant strong signal strength(because its a fixed connection)
Disadvantages: Not mobile , Power supply issue (it needs to be powered on by electrical mains)

Even the old packages, they have increased the prices. The N1000 plan is now N1500, N3000 plan is now N3750, while the 10k monthly is now N12,500. God forbid say make I pay these prices with the current situation.

Really shocked
So prices of data have been increased across board and ntel didnt deem it fit to communicate same to thier loyal subcribers?
These guys are clowns i swear grin
at least i got a mail, SMS and a call from dstv to announce their planed increment that will be effective form May 1st 2017. Go figure
Phones / Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by hancock(m): 8:10pm On Apr 01, 2017
it seems ntel has quietly introduced new data packages with outrageous prices. that would explain why the old data plans are being throttled
right left and center.
Sad

downloading speed of 30kb/s grin These clowns called ntel are hilarious. and this is suppose to be a 4G LTE network
