A brief timeline of my application
Submitted on the old platform Feb 2021, no response for many months, sent web form to make inquiry in December 2021, Dec 30th got a refusal letter.

Applied on the new platform March 12th, 2022, got PPR approval on the 9th April, 2022.
Didn't know I had received it because I didn't get an email.
Sent webform on Good Friday to follow up, yet to get any feedback.
Logged in to the portal on Tuesday, saw PPR waiting for me, issued since 9th April.

Hello, I just realized today that my Passport Request Letter was sent a week ago.
Please what am I expected to submit at VFS Lekki aside the PPR letter and Biometrics letter?

She didn't travel during COVID, her last US trip was in 2019 for 3 weeks.
Her longest trip was in 2016 for 7 weeks.

Hi,
Google i94 and the link to the portal will be available for your perusal. It’s likely she’s been called for an interview due to her length of stay in any of the previous trips. She’s retired, so there’s no job she was rushing back to Nigeria for…and she can always say she was spending time with her child and grandkids (did she travel during COVID? That can be an excuse for a longer stay).

I believe she’ll be fine at the interview…

Hello Dampops, my mom visa was refused, after days of administrative processing.
Thank God refusal isn't denial.
Although, I don't know what the reason could be.
The longest she has stayed in the US is for 7 weeks when she went with me for delivery support. Other trips has been 2-3 weeks max.
Also her visa was about to expire in 2016 when she made the trip but wrote to the consulate and she received a response stating she can travel with the visa and the border officer will determine how long she can stay. She arrived US Feb 2016, Visa expired March 2016, at the airport she was stamped in for 6 months.
Can you advice if this could be an issue, I have asked she prints the embassy response to her email, also how do I access the travel portal for more travel information. Thank you.

You’re not doing anything wrong, just that IW dates are scarce to get. You’ll log out and check again later. The telegram group is a self-help group where people volunteer to check for dates at different times and report back to the group.

This will ensure that you have information on dates availability almost round the clock…but you must also pick a time slot to check on behalf of others…

Hello everyone, can someone add me to the telegram group? What is required for this? Not familiar with telegram services.
Also, I am trying to book for IW, our visa expired Feb 2021.
Completed DS-160, paid the fee, qualified for IW and submission, but unfortunately no date.
Tried a couple of times when I hear dates are available but before I login the dates are gone.
Got a message on the scheduling page, that I need to book an appointment now because am approaching the maximum number of times I can view this page.
Please any idea on what am doing wrong since there is no date to pick. What do they expect me to do.

Hello, My parents are applying for a Visit Visa, specifically on a family visit. What is the recommended fund required for them for a 3 weeks holiday?
Also, is it okay for them to apply together?

Happy New Month!!
I would need your advise regarding my parent's application.
I applied and submitted on their behalf precisely 28th February 2020, Biometrics was done 3rd March, 2020 and updated same day i believe.
We haven't heard from the processing office.
Can i still update the reason for their invitation because it was initially for a family visit since they haven't seen us and their grandkids in over a year of becoming PR's.
I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
