Celestialsword: This is one of the oil producing states that looks like a glorified village.
It ought to be developing exponentially because of it's small size and population.
All these are smokescreens,if you go there, you won't see anything on ground.
And the Ijaws are still agitating for another state Thank you. Delta and Bayelsa are both yeye states. Both of them have nothing going on there except POLITICS. Nothing but Politics |

madridguy: Anybody can owns shop anywhere and the bigger player are the customers patronizing you. Everyone is looking for where there is buying power and reason they are moving here. There are thousands of people from other tribe that invested massively in Lagos and we have never hear their people making noise anywhere.
Yorubas have been in Togo/Ivory Coast over 100 years doing business and they have never disrespected their host. Is there any level of disrespect as much as when the Hausa Fulani kill our people? But wè dont hear your voices. Kwara state is currently under siege and people are running away from their homes but wè dont hear your voice of see your face. But it is Igbo this, igbo that. But there is a Yoruba adage that says "Eni ti eyan ba le damu ni eyan ma le idi mo". And that is why you cant touch the Hausa Fulani even with all their killings in the SW and Kwara but to go run and hide under your bed.. P.S. The attached SS is sarcasm and it is exactly what I'm saying

Wè still dont want this. Let true power go back to the States. Let there be true restructing not these ones.
Let the States be in charge of their resources and send a certain percentage to the federal government. That is how it is being done. Not this nonesense of the FG collecting all and giving a certain percentage to the States.
You want to driver true growth? Let the States be powerful. Remove power from the center and give it to the States

Same people blamed President Tinubu when the economy was down even though he didn't start it, yet they couldn't commend when the same economy improved
The opposition from hell This Economy you supported for 8years?you supported Buhari for 8years you now claim the economy was down under Buhari and Tinubu is washing and cleaning it? You are funny gaaaan o .

Ekpoudom: You lie.
This was about the candidate that many of the Oyo APC people didn’t like. He was Folarin’s candidate and others stepped back.
Stop saying what you don’t know. It is you that don't know exactly what you are saying. Murphy is Adelabu's candidate and not Folarin. Infact Folarin stepped back in this election Stop saying what you don't know |
Politics › Re: Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye Election Results by happney65: 5:29pm On Aug 16, 2025 |
Difrent: You sef know say na joke be this na
Who has Seyi groomed to replace him?
Is there anybody in PDP today that can defeat Adelabu? Who? Is it Odidi Omo, or Debo Ogundoyin Abi na Oriyomi Hamzat?
Even Seyi Knows it's APC that's coming after him, Oyo state has an unwritten arrangement that will ensure that..... PDP don chop 8 years , time to leave the stage for others too.... Na turn by turn.
But the real surprise will be that APC may not even field Adelabu...... Since Ladoja became Oubadan designate, the political calculations have changed . Sen. Sarafa Ali , from Ladoja camp is being put forward Adelabu is not really the favorite of most party elders cos of his actions during 2023 by defecting to accord. And since Teslim is not in Jagaban camp, he may be dropped too , afterall they should have given him minister as 2023 governorship candidate but they gave Adelabu that contested under accord. And don't forget Pbat and Ladoja go way back, Pbat Is expected to grace his coronation.
2027 will be interesting, but nothing for PDP as per governorship I have told you,you are all saying Jargons. Go and bring one billion people. It is who Seyi wants that will succeed him and it isn't APC In Oyo, Seyi's achievements has shut the mouth of the opposition. You just saw it today and you will still see it more in the coming months. No need for gra gra or cho cho. You can take that to the BANK! |

press9jatv: not true, it's the APC candidate that the members didn't want and not the party. APC holds 85% seats in Oyo senatorial and reps seats too. Oyo people loves APC. It's the candidates that's not popular that they don't want. That's why they want Oriyomi hamzat to contest under PDP or other party. You politicians can keep on deceiving yourself. 2023 election is not 2027 in Oyo. APC could have 85percent seats because it was Tinubu that was on the top ballot as president. That is what happened. But in 2027. It is his performance that will speak for him and his performance right now is FAILURE. See come 2027,it is only politicians that will vote for him in Oyo. And I repeat,if s'eyi brings a 7year old to contest against both Adelabu and Teslim combined,he will beat them hands down QED! |

Really Seyi Makinde is strong and APC members and late jagaban followers didn't like APC candidate, Murphy. It has nothing to do with late jagaban or the current infighting in APC. The moment Jagaban died,I knew the winner of the by election will be Seyi's candidate. In Oyo,it is a vote against the APC. If they see 100K votes in 2027 and presidential Govorship election sef, they should be happy. In Oyo, nobody wants to go back to the APC regime of yesterday. Nobody wants to go back to Egypt. I can tell you something for free. Tinubu will struggle to win in 2027 in Oyo,that is even if he doesn't loses. WRITE IT DOWN! |
