When I saw this thread and the kinda post there, I gave up already. I even thought I have seen it all in my office. Kai people are in shit ooo.

I have worked for private company since 2020, It is from one level of shege to another. First no employment or appointment letter. You can be an admin today and wake up tomorrow doing an IT guy work, the next time, he will call u on sunday to go come to office just to buy food for him. Like am his wife.

Cos of salary, and his numerous sanctions that ensures that u dont receive your full salary, I have resigned more than 4 times, at each time he will increases the salary. But men there is no specific opening and closing time. Your guy can go to work by 8PM and come back by 10PM and after working strenuously for that number of hr for sometimes straight 2- 3 days, you might think you deserve rest. The man will strenuously engage u again. It is a vicious cycle that never ends.

The man has 5 companies, and I work in the five at the same time. Trekking my life out under Abuja sun meeting the demands of the whole company as at necessary. He provided car to make the work easy, but any little scratch the kinda embarrassment and pay u will pay to rectify it, u will regret driving the car in the first place. That is after begging for fuel money ooo.

But here is the good side of it all. I have horned my skills to provide some digital services in his office under his nose, without his knowledge. The provisions for moving about everytime, I have used to solve my own personal problem tooo. Even as I seek for Job.

One day, I applied for a job, IT one, the woman saw my CV and decided that even though I am not altogether qualified for the work she will create a supervisory role for me to work with her. But guess what! She is a Spinster, and the way she was arrogant, i told her I can't work with her cos she is a woman. The lady was very crazy. But men, I care not!

Some are mostly looking it from their own perspective, which is selfish to say.

For once look at from another perspective, what if UK had planned it all along. Using immigrants to cash out till now.

I don't think a country like UK is so stupid to make such ban over night without calculating the cost. If you do, then ur the one being delusional.

Kidnappers' houses.... they destroy. What about confiscation?
One government comes with SURE-P, and the next scraps it and brings N-Power. Yet all are still addressing one common goal: unemployment. Why can't the old program be better structured if you feel it was not previously effective?

Now Hangar too they want to demolish.
I think our leaders should at least consider other constructive options rather than demolition. That is, if the place warrants demolition in the first place. Now, after demolishing the hangar, someone else might buy and build the same hangar again.

The TVC Obiajulu Olabisi gives Nairaland 2 hours to remove the thread that linked her to the man by name Obiajulu Hansel Ujah. This was the same man who was arrested at the Airport for few days ago.

She also demands an apology from Nairaland.

Not every office requires you to answer office fone during the weekend.

When I handled office fone at work. My boss understands this. Once its 6PM he does not contact me through office line again and neither does he mandate me to pick up office calls.

During weekend too, to save myself the stress I switch the fone off from Saturday evening till Monday morning.

However, when we are handling a contract, I know there is a need to keep the fone closer cos of logistics related challenges which can come up at anytime. But this is an exceptional case.

I have also seen office that requires you to answr office calls even during weekend. And I believe they pay for it. Its an agreement so why wont you keep to your own end of it.

I personally think, this Japa of a thing is being over flogged.

Its the reality that dawns in people when they finally leaves without a good plan. The frustration and the rest.
