I tried tracking last winter and even when the university have emailed me that they have received my documents and application yet the tracking system is still saying it is still at Lagos airport terminus. So I chose to stop wasting the extra N1200 and bear the risk of not tracking. So far none have failed me. But don't do what your Faith can not carry. I trust they would deliver in less than 15 days, so I take it by faith. If you have money use registered mails or DHL. I walk by faith not by sight, Shalom beatmonster: how do you track it bro? |

My reply was basically for the second paragraph which is why I used my own situation. I never said a word about pride and downfall. Just emphasizing that many have read past successful stories and threads to build themselves up nwamehn: Nnaa mehn, ar we still on this matter?
If u check my posts well u will see that I never quoted that guy when he made the comment of the thing being posted in the previous pages, I only quoted him when he said that the problem of the guy that asked questions was pride and he would fall if he doesn't take heed. My question still remains, what's the need for that comment about pride and downfall?
Now, all these things u wrote here, do they justify telling someone that ordinarily asked questions here that his problem is pride and he would fall if he doesn't take heed? Do they? This is what we call cyberbulling and if u ar trying to justify it then come out clean and say it.
I even thought this matter has been laid to rest, sef.
Have a nice day. |

Mystique20: Hi Can anyone verify the new interview appointment release times (I.e people now have to stay up at midnight) to get a chance at a slot, thanks. To me there is no special time for getting it. Most of those people that occupied the appointment may still cancel it and the slot made for people who are ready with admission letter and other requirements. Just keep checking 3times every day or more it may come up 6pm at times If you know you don't have money and admission why not give way for others. |

chimax1: Nipost has finished me. Sent docs to uni assist through nipost unregistered mail on Nov 22. Up till now they have not acknowledged receipt of my docs and deadline is 15th. Pls is it possible my post didn't get to them or they have not confirmed yet. I don't know why people keep complaining about nipost. My documents do get to the destination in time most time with unregistered post. Just stamps of N500 is what I use since this year. But if afraid try DHL before deadline. My documents got to uni-assist in less than 15 days and to Düsseldorf in 12 days. Mind you I post from Enugu state, their subway station. Other stations may not deliver that quickly |

nwamehn: Lol. Pride? Someone asked questions, instead of u to either answer the questions or leave them for people that would want to assist, u began telling him that the questions have been answered in previous pages, and at the end of the day u still didn't offer him any help to the questions he asked.
So, were u sincerely expecting him to go over the entire about 340 pages of this thread just to find answers that someone could give him on this current page? Or perhaps u think that it's everybody that has been following this thread from page 1, abi?
And now, u have suddenly accused him of being proud and even started preaching to him about how he would fall if he doesn't take heed.
My man, do u even know this guy in question? Or do u have a personal issue with him that people don't know about?
What's the point trying to bully him this way? Mehn, I don't want to believe that u ar a bully, sir. Many start reading up from last summer threads in part 4. I started from where I left the thread which is page 101 of part 5. It will not kill rather you gain more from past successful stories and disappointment. Mined you many of the old guys are now very busy. They may not attend to every question especially the ones they had answered repeatedly few days back. We are all humans. Consider that those who answer these questions are not robots. Danke |

I have been complaining to fidelity bank since July over such transactions. 2000 naira failed recharge of my Airtel line yet they claim they will investigate it. Up till now no report on the investigation.
Airtel office have confirmed on different occasions and emails that no such transactions hit my Airtel line at said moment yet Fidelity bank is claiming the recharge was sent to my Airtel line. I wonder whether my line is now cloned by another person. |
Food › Re: What Is The English Name For This Fruit? by happystep(m): 11:04am On Sep 14, 2018 |
This one is called Bush kola, it comes in yellow,Orange and White colours. We named it bush kola because It is indigenous to West Africa rain forest. People who would want to mock others that eat it call it monkey fruit or monkey kola, after monkey pox epidemics. However the naming followed that of mango and Bush mango ie our local mango specie used for cooking draw-soup (ogbono.) XploraBen: My mum went to her hometown and brought this particular fruit among the stuffs she came with.In her native Igbo the fruit is called Ochicha(not the same pronunciation for cockroach, though the spelling look same). This fruit is succulent and really sweet,so not saying much,I want to know if there is an English name for it because I know many Nairalanders are exposed and informed.
So anyone who knows the English name for this fruit? |
Food › Re: Who Knows The Name Of This Fruit? by happystep(m): 10:51am On Sep 14, 2018 |
Nategaoo: Monkey Kola or Cola Lepidota Please remove monkey from that fruit. That fruit is indigenous to our rainforests in West Africa. It is a specie of the kola family of trees. Don't falsely connect this fruit with monkey pox as many started since this year. There is no clear cut English name because it did not come from foreign country. We may just manage to call it bush kola. Just like what happened with mango and bush mango (ogbono fruit or uguri) |

What length do you recommend for a motivation letter? I prefer one page but two pages is OK |

Naby1: Please, is there a specific length for a motivation letter? Should it be written with an A4 paper or fullscalp sheet ? While filling the application form, I filled that my intended period of stay in germany is from Oct 2018 -Dec 2020, pls my course is a 2 yr Msc course that starts October 2018 will the additional two month added affect my application ? P.S I don't really know the exact month I will finish everything that has to do with the course, that is why I added the two extra month to be on a safe side.
God bless you as you reply.thank you Don't worry about it most States in Germany will allow you extra 6 months or more after school. If you find a corporate job then they will allow you more time. However you need not worry about anything other than getting to Germany. Motivation letter is one or two pages. Some people/agencies prefer hand written than typed but don't use hand written if you're not confident your hand written is well over eligible and Wow. |

I need more clarification Fustinachichi: Why are these people frustrating people like this! Sometimes stories differ based on VO. There are still people that passed the interview with out FSLCertification. I think they use it to judge how true your age is but any other documents with biometric that is very old can still serve that purpose. All the same luck differ and that Abuja is not meant for Students visa. So if one should meet a shocking experience their please kindly share so that the next generation will know how to prepare for Abuja embassy interview as compared with Lagos. Thanks |

Chriswazo: Please all, disregard my earlier rant on Nipost not improving, I was incoherent. They have really done well, didn't know my documents don reach as I expect am. You can confidently do business with them Personally I encourage every Nigerian to apply early within the first week of portal opening. So you need not bother to use speed post which cost 12times more than nipost. I always give nipost 2weeks in my planning and they have delivered. The more reason early application is good is that some schools hold two sets of screening, the early birds and the later ones. It become more difficult after the first set have been selected mostly for non EU applicant so they have enough time for Visa. The next do have thousands of application and more rejection. Many schools have reported back to my mail on the unanticipated large number of applications from Africa (Nigeria). |

He is new to Germany threads and always calls out what he doesn't understand as lies and suspects everyone except himself. It is evident from part 4. Even he reported me to Nairaland for attempting his question from my own perspective and experience. Yet he keeps asking questions and expecting answers from the house. Some people are still too young in mind for public discussion. |

Sakasitay: So, it is true that this hannover school is very slow in their admission process? At this point, I am no longer hopeful. Whenever I check my application status, I keep seeing "not processed yet".
Still waiting on Hohenheim, Heidelberg and Jena. I hope one clicks among all of them. I heard Jena gives immediate admission. How true is that, considering that the admissions officer told me that a lot of Nigerians apply every year? We bokwu nau If you applied to Jena by email write them for status of your admission because many have been rejected and admitted. Jena said the admission application is increasing beyond their expectations in their reply email to me and 40% is from Nigeria Uni-assist application included. So imagine, we are about to turn Germany to Nigeria campus. |

I applied two months ago and have sent documents and they have received it and said I should send my CV through Email because they could not find it among my documents. I did so. Please Nipost may charge from N500 to N1500 depending on the size, weight and your approach, per parcel. I tried in Enugu and they said N1600, I left and tried another branch ask of #500 stamp and dropped it on the slot. The Mail still reached Germany in 15 days. If you are not behind time, Nipost is still OK. Chriswazo: Please what is the cheapest courier service to
