In response to your question, I and dh cater for our 2 lo (a toddler and a baby) and we both work.It gets crazy especially when I have to leave work as soon as closing hour strikes because I have to go pick up my dd at school.

Dh helps, but have learnt to shut my eyes to things and face the basics squarely. The freezer is your friend as i stock it up making cooking/meal times easier during the week. The washing machine is also your friend. For this reason I got an automatic such that all I do is load it, add detergent and bingo it does the rest and I just get to spread.

However, I got a little help (omugwo) when I had my baby but right now, we are on our own. My daughter also helps in her little way. She is 4 plus now (picks up dirt from the floor, help with diaper etc).

I pray your dh changes his mind as some people are lucky with getting good help (live in or otherwise ). If he doesn't, you can do it together, though it can get crazy at times.

Clears throat, yes o I'm here. I can't stop thanking God for my BFP. I went to church crying on 22nd of July coz someone asked why I don't want to get pregnant yet, kai! . I was stressed out that day but I still had to attend a vigil.
While others sang, I cried, while others prayed I cried prayers.
we were asked to ask God for a fast track miracle,something that must happen in July and I asked for the fruit of the womb after confessing all my sins.
The Pastor said someone will be given the fruit of the womb in July and I claimed it, and believed God. Even when it looked impossible (no sign of ovulation ) God has done it for me.
Forgive my long story, I'm too excited.

Congrats. God is still in the business of doing good. H and H to you.

every night, i struggle with itchy skin with different grades of rashes at different places on my body. what can i do pls? the more i scratch it, the more it spreads. the last time i complained of itchy hands and feet at my clinic, the nurse was looking at me like i fell from the sky, so i doubt if they can help me. pls help as im restless and dread nightfall

Please see a doctor not a nurse as he/she is in a better position to assess and help you. Sorry.

In other news, seems team September is going to burst our screens with the way their nos just dey increase dey o.

Baba God thank you for the gifts wey you give them oo. Am I the only one who can't wait to read about their successful deliveries and bs? Na to dey read multiple birth announcement every day of the month of September. Na una suppose to dey shake this house ooooo as per una nos. Make una no be like me wey just dey drop posts occasionally for my time.

This is exactly what my son does too. If we ensure that he doesn't get to suck his hand in a day by holding it off, the moment he gets an opportunity na mouth straight or he uses either your cloth or body; anyone that comes close. We don dey this battle since when he was like 13 wks old (presently 17wks old).

Am getting out of ideas.

Since today my head aches and I feel kinda of dizzy. In church I just couldn't get myself. And my DH instead of supporting kept upsetting me. I feel so awful. One lady I met in keke today was only stressing that eeh you people make pregnancy to look like sickness,that's it's God's blessing just because I asked her to shift for me to enterooo. People can be so annoying. How I wish my baby should just come tonite. I need someone to cuddle and hold. Wish my family live in the same state.

@mitchyy, your bp may be because of your delivery fears and the consciousness of daily bp check. So relax. Keep your eyes on the ball i.e your baby. Try taking another look and feel of your lo's clothes, it will sure bring you calmness. Picture yourself with your baby...happy memories.If every mother could deliver, you too can.

Just as nurse Kaffy said, keep pulling it out and encourage your dh to suck the tips out as well. Another thing i did was to clean the tips regularly with coconut oil and cotton wool after which i pull again. I then prayed for a baby above 3kg as my previous was 2.7kg and i found it difficult inserting the areola into her mouth (i have a sizeable breast). Right now.I am nursing my ds better and am happy with myself compared to the latch on problems i had with my previous child.

I was told if baby is too small, I will pass my EDD and he won't be given BCG until he's 3kg and handling him might be difficult. I'm yet to see my gynea to enlighten me sha, maybe that's why I'm worried.

I beg to differ on passing your edd. I had a 2.8kg baby boy @38weeks on the dot.

The part that seems true from my experience was handling. I found it a little trying handling my 2.7kg DD majorly at feeding time because I had a inverted nipple.

Your explanation gives a good understanding of why you are depressed.

Just breathe in and out slowly and try to take each day as it comes one step at a time. Step back from time to time to catch your breathe.

You could also try listing the things you are thankful for on a page. Appreciate God for those ones. Am sure going through delivery and coming out alive is one. Just try to be thankful instead.

Feel free to cry if you want to, it will give you relieve.

Above all pray for your offsprings. There is a Yoruba saying that says instead of having many kids something something, I would rather have one equal to millions (along that line).

About having a full house, you could have neices and nephews within both families spend holidays from time to time.

When i had my DS and he was sick, my hubby and his family ask that i stop breast feeding him incase it was adding to his illness (spiked bilirubin level). I was devastated because i had looked forward to breastfeeding and prepared my breast for same. I only kept praying for good health though with pains in my heart. To the glory of God he became well and they wouldn't let be breastfeed till he was almost 6weeks old. My EBF plan went out the windows. But in all i kept looking at what i should be grateful for.

I hope I am of help.

On the other hand, how do you manage not to miss and participate in threadcuties? This is the second week i planned on participating with my DS and missed it. I was even online as at 7pm and was like its almost time. Hmmm someday anyway.
