I am a believer in an Igbo President anywhere, anyday. But it is sad to say that Igbos will hardly produce a consensus candidate because of greed. An average Igbo politician will always consider himself first before the zone (SE). Thats why it will be difficult for them to produce a president in Nigeria.
I was in Owerri 2006 when a meeting of all Igbo politicians was convened, particularly the presidential aspirants of Igbo extraction, to pick a consensus candidate for the presidential race of 2007. All the big wigs of Igbo politics were there. From Alex Ekwueme to Ken Nnamani (the then Senate President), Rochas Okorocha to Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu etc. But sadly, the meeting ended in a deadlock. Nobody was ready to step down for the other. So they could't speak with one voice. That has been the bane of the Igbos.

The Federal Executive Council in it's regular Wednesday meetings gave Yar'adua a clean bill of health.That he (Yar'adua) is in no way incapacitated to rule Nigeria. That his absence from the country on grounds of medical  check-up abroad does not call for impeachment.

My laptop screen blinks anytime I try to wake it up from sleep. That is if i put my system to sleep and close the lid and i attempt to start it by opening the lid, it keeps blinking. How do I solve this problem? Meanwhile, I use Dell Inspiron 1501 with Vista Home Premium. I also want to set the lid to take me straight to the welcome screen without having to press the power button after opening the lid. How do I do that? Thanks for your kind response

When I hear of these arrests, the question that readily comes to my mind is: Of all the people that have been arrested and charged with corruption-related cases, Orji Uzor Kalu, Igbinedion, Boni Haruna, etc, how many of them have been convicted and jailed? I bought a GPRS wireless modem. After installing the driver, it worked for some time and stopped. I thought may be something has gone wrong with the installed driver. I decided to un-install it. In an attempt to re-instal it, it will go half-way and hang, giving me the information that "ikernel.exe could not be found". Please what could have gone wrong? What do I do to remedy the situation?
