though i have one music player app currently "music player 2021" the app is very very good it gat everything but I can't jusss see lyrics as i am listening to music, i will have to download it through the app and i will use my hand to scroll and read the lyrics

did you know any music app ?

u can download musixmatch...
it shows the lyrics as d songs re being played..
it even has a karaoke option...

u can have another music player alongside the musixmatch.. anytime u re playing music from another music player, it ll still show the lyrics...


if u ve a new song that the lyrics hasn't been uploaded yet, u can upload it on Musixmatch so others can enjoy too or u re going through a lyrics and u noticed that it's incorrect, u can submit ur own correct version..


But u need to download the premium to be able to enjoy it wella..

The normal one only works with internet to show u d lyrics.. without internet no lyrics.. but d premium has offline lyrics it ll download and display for u...

thanks any issues peculiar to the phone? I dont even play heavy games. I just want a decent phone that can last long without having any issues with the screen especially. I hope the screen is durable and not fragile. Again do they send update to their phones(Umidigi)

The screen is durable ooo jst ensure u put a protector on it.. I can't count aw mny times my phone has fallen faced down..no cracks atall...

well i think the only general issue ppl complained about which am facing too is the mic issue... and Umidigi has refused to release an update to correct the issue...

In particular.. the mic issue is wen u re calling ur fone mic ll be switched off and the receiever won't be able to hear ur voice...

The Solutions ppl came up with are

1.Disable ur Google App [ Cos it's the Google Voice Assistance that's interfering with the mic] and restart

2. If u re the type that doesn't want to disable ur Google App cos u like sayin [Hello Google] and a woman voice replies , just restart ur phone if u notice ppl aren't hearing you [it myt take 2-3 restart] b4 d mic works.. but anytime u switched off ur phone and turn it back on and u notice it's not working again, u ll av to restart ur phone

3. If u re d type dat doesn't use the Google Assistant App, When u buy ur phone and u re trying to set it up, Disable the Google Assistant from inception and u won't face the problem..




Expo: I try dis method to know if the mic is working anytime i restart..

i go to the Inbuilt Sound Recorder App on the phone and i try recording my voice, if the Odometer reads, that means the mic is back but if the Odometer is Static, u ll have to restart...



Other than d mic problem there's no issue.. but since u re buying it new, jst use d 3rd method and u ll be fine.

Hello Umi lecturers, a friend has been having network connection issues with Umidigi A7 lately.
Whenever she switchs on the data, it shows "no network", it happens with both her Airtel and 9mobile SIM. What could be the problem and possible solution, please?

NOTE: the network issue started recently.

Rooting ur phones means u ll be able to bypass phone restrictions... though u ll lose ur phone warranty but Umidigi no get warranty for 9ja so no qualms...

with Rooting u ll be able to do many things on ur fone like Use Fonts, able to use apps that requires Root etc... i stopped rooting when Android version passed 6.. to root Newer Android version na wahala... u ll have to use TWRP and other materials...
