Politics / Chinedu Amadi: The Man Who Wants To Make Imo Best State With 4-point Agenda by hardynwa(m): 9:43pm On Mar 23, 2023
Chinedu Amadi has said that his major concern is to build a sustainable Imo State if elected as governor.

Amadi who is a successful businessman and entrepreneur said that with his four-point action plan in security, economy, education, and agriculture, Imo will become great again.

He said that the absence of security has crippled economic activities in the state and with that restored, the economy will be induced to make education and agriculture thrive in the state.

Amadi said that Imo is blessed with both human and natural resources, adding that he will be bringing his experience from the private sector into governance. He also stated that he will ensure people are able to make developmental contributions based on their abilities and not just anywhere they find themselves.

Further on his four-point agenda, Amadi said that he already has a practical and strategic well detailed plan that will transform Imo State, adding that every glaring and silent problem in the state has its solution in the agenda/action plan.

As the Operational Director/Chairman of DuKan Group, one of Nigeria’s multisectorial companies, Chinedu Amada has demonstrated strategic leadership and commitment to build a sustainable system, something Imo State has been missing in leaders for years.

He is a first class Geologist from Federal University of Technology Owerri FUTO; holds a Masters Degree in Structural Geology from Leeds University United Kingdom and is presently on his Ph.D at the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

“My commitment is to create a sustainable Imo State. To create a system that wants and produces nothing but communal prosperity, a place we all can be proud to call home”

“I am only out for the people and together we can achieve what will stand to be one of the best states in the country”, he said.

Chinedu Amadi is an aspirant from the Labour Party, with a strong belief that his capacity and track record has put his name as the best man for the job come November 2023.

Nigerian artist Olabisi Omokolade Oluwatoyin popularly known as TY Buoyant has said that with what African sounds have achieved globally, the genre deserves more recognition that it has today.

TY Buoyant who is based in Europe said that even when songs from Africa are gaining global recognition, Afrobeat songs made from other continents deserve the same attention and recognition globally..

“Growing up I was listening to a number of artists but the likes of Fela, 2Baba and PSquare really influenced me”

“Their music meant so much and also changed a whole lot globally to give us what we are enjoying today”

“I feel that beyond having a category in the grammys and other awards, we have something specially going on in Afrobeat and I am going to lend my voice to make it louder”, he said.

TY Buoyant has a single titled ‘Hold Me’ set to be released in weeks time and the singer also added that the single will be dropping with the official video.

He said that doing Afrobeat in Africa is different from Europe, but the Afrobeat Globalization mission also means music lovers in Africa will start following and appreciating artists based outside Africa.

“If Afrobeat must be a global brand as we wish for it, it has to be accepted everywhere. We’re just in every part of the world and our music is being played same way and it can only get better”

“Radio stations, the media and awards should also look at artists based outside Africa, we are doing the same and we are also contributing our fair share in spreading the Afrobeat gospel”

“We need people to put in a lot of work like I am doing here in Europe and we will eventually get there"

"I hope to see ‘Hold Me’ take me to a lot of countries and back home in Africa”

“I want to enjoy music like I have done as a kid and I want to also see my mother being proud of her son after putting in all the work to make me a better person”

Politics / March 15: INEC, Nigerians Must Get It Right This Time - Buchi George by hardynwa(m): 1:29pm On Mar 14, 2023
International trade and investment promoter Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC to avoid issues that marred the presidential and national assembly elections last month.

Buchi George who spoke from Abuja said INEC owes Nigerians a free and fair elections, adding that it is unfair that the most important elections seemed like a testrun for the new technology.

Despite assurances from the electoral umpire, he said that another INEC’s failure will turn the nation upside down, as people are already frustrated by the situation in the country.

"People are already frustrated by what seemed like avoidable mistakes during the presidential elections"

"Nigerians are now at the level where no one can play with their intelligence and we also know what we deserve which is nothing but the best”

He called on Nigerians not to be discouraged by the outcome of the last election, but to go out en masse and vote for those that will make the nation better.

He hailed the commitment of youths in the electoral process, adding that if more youths will vote at the upcoming elections, the outcome will be different.

“Politicians understand how to play around with the class of people who are not enlightened and they have been very okay with the absence of youths in the electoral processes since inception”

“Youths have now taken their place. They have understood where the change they are yearning for will come from and their participation in the Presidential and National Assembly elections turned out to be the game changer”

“I will urge them not to relent because no battle is won in a day, this is the beginning of the statement and come this saturday, it will be completed for this year's episode”, he said.

Buchi George is the president of Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry, an international trade and investment promotion company.

Politics / What INEC BVAS Should Have Done And Nigerians Will Love It by hardynwa(m): 2:39pm On Feb 27, 2023
By Chinedu Hardy Nwadike

Most Nigerians are angry today because of the impact of the INEC's Bimodal Voter Accreditation System BVAS.

The device was so hyped by INEC that even some Nigerians thought God himself would be transmitting the results to INEC headquarters.

BVAS started trending on election day, just as it did at the National Assembly just because some politicians thought it would be difficult for Nigeria to use such a complicated device.

Again that was when the issue started. I think most of these politicians knew what they were doing when they were apparently fighting INEC shadows to make Nigerians think there was something serious coming, but at the end of the day, I ended up on the list of dumb Nigeria.

We missed the ‘ACCREDITATION in the name

Our secret society nature got us here because no one actually explained these things properly to Nigerians.

We had all thought that INEC had brought one device that would eliminate a lot of paper collation, but that was never the case because the device is actually called Bimodal Voter Accreditation System - emphasis on accreditation.

It was simply supposed to accredit and that was, the transmission function to INEC IReV was never too important as we have come to see.

Who got accredited and who voted is not important as long as the result tallies with the actual number of accredited voters. This is the same as when the result sheet was uploaded.

Why upload paper and still write on paper?

BVAS ended up being a case of using an analogue solution to solve a digital problem. I even got tired of downloading documents on my phone.

Do we deserve this kind of stress? The answer is no, but INEC chose that option even when Nigeria is blessed with a countless number of programmers who can do better.

That brings us to the joke because BVAS is actually an android version of what used to be with a slight upgrade.

As someone who can create a simple data collation form on the internet, I think the complication created by INEC in the BVAS is not necessary. The back end for Presiding Officers would have been simpler and more efficient.

It would have been easier with a simple field stating the election (Presidential or just whatever); the state; Local Government Area; Ward and lastly Pooling Unit.

The total number of registered voters in the pooling unit should not be editable and same with the number of accredited voters which should automatically add up as electorates are being accredited.

Should we insist on paper ballots, the number of votes will be entered for each party alongside the name of the Presiding Officer.

Signatures and the result sheets will also be applauded. After clear verification by Party agents, the PO will submit the result with a one time password to the server.

The total number of valid votes will be calculated automatically from votes added to political parties, while the remaining will go to invalid votes. These two fields will not be editable.

It can stay in cache where there is no internet connection, but can never be edited once submitted.

How to avoid paper collation

It is still a big shame that we see papers on National Televisions and funny again that excel sheets are seen as well.

The results submitted by the Presiding Officers are supposed to be arranged in a database that can be exported as comma-separated values CSV or excel sheet.

INEC can have an uneditable backend where these results can be sorted by polling units, wards, LGA, party, etc at the state or local government headquarters.

The printout or what should have been displayed on National TV should simply be a kind of data display interphase, while the public will be able to see the same in a different format or interphase.

Nigeria cannot be this dumb

Smart people and organizations around the world actually do nothing but apply smart solutions in their operations, but we have chosen to fail again.

It is funny to see that calculators are being pressed on our national televisions and that individuals who have been with results for days come on air to see that they have calculated rubbish.

We can do better than this because we have a good number of smart people but the political class believe that if we do better they will be forgotten.

It is showing in many locations as the phrase ‘deliver your pooling unit’ will soon go extinct because no single person owns the unit, but it belongs to the people.

Simple processes like this can restore confidence in our electoral system, but it all lies on INEC and members of the National Assembly who might not want ideas like this to see the light of the day.

Crime / Police Detain Rape Victim, 3 Neighbours, Free Alleged Rapist In Imo by hardynwa(m): 12:17pm On Jan 27, 2023
Blessing a Student of Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri, said that officers at the Nekde/Ihiagwa Divisional Police Headquarters in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State detained her and three others neigbours after being beaten and almost raped by another student.

The student who spoke to www.otowngist.com said that a fellow student identified as Ikedi Okoro was trying to force his way on her while also beating her when her neighbours came to rescue her but does not understand why she and three of her neighbours ended up sleeping in the Police cell.

An eye witness said that the victim Blessing on Tuesday evening was shouting of rape from her room when her neighbours at a Lodge in Umuerim Nekede rushed in and found the Ikedi Okoro gripping her to the wall and threatening to deal with her if she screams further.

Blessing said that she had earlier slapped Ikedi when he refused to stop his advances, while Ikedi retaliated by forcefully stripping and beating her.

She said their female caretaker was the first to come into her room before Ikedi then disappeared from the scene.

Her aggrieved neighbours went to Ikedi's lodge, brought him back to their lodge to understand why he wanted to rape their neighbour which led to tempers rising.

During the confrontation according to one of Blessing's neighbours, Ikedi ran away from them and they chased and caught him.

Ikedi gave one of the neighbours who caught him a huge bite on his chest and a fight ensued after.

It took the intervention of the community vigilante to calm. the situation, after which it was handed over to the police the same evening.

Blessing and three of her neighbours were detained while other neighbours were said to have paid Ikedi about twenty thousand Naira N20000 which he alleged was his hospital bills as a condition to withdraw the case from the police station so as to facilitate the bail of Blessing and the others .

The police officers involved in the matter refused to listen to the rape side, saying that Ikedi in his statement said Blessing and her three neighbours were cultists who were attacking him.

Ikedi Okoro the alleged rapist was walking freely inside the police station on Wednesday while the victim and those who intervened for her had already done a night in the police cell.

The four of them were later released late Wednesday on bail with about Seventy Thousand Naira N70,000 spent in the process.

A deeper investigation revealed that Ikedi had told the police officers that Blessing was his girlfriend who he had been sleeping with,, saying that the rape shout was a not only a false alarm but a fake one.

Blessing explained to the officers that her relationship with Ikedi who was in her room where the incident took place, had no sexual activities in it.

She said that no matter how she explained to the officers, they told her she was lying and would have to spend the night in the police cell to learn her lessons.

Despite being bailed without their phones, the four of them were also made to sign an undertaking that they would never go after Ikedi before getting their phones on Wednesday.

Following their release Blessing revealed that Ikedi sent her a text message, telling her he will see to the end of the issue since she had the guts to call her ‘boyfriends’ on him.

Blessing and her neighbours said that despite showing the police the text message, Ikedi still walks free with no invitation or interrogation by the Police officers in that division, especially the officer handling the issue who was identified as Abu.

While at the station on Wednesday, Abu was more concerned about the bail money than listening to the real issue in the matter and every effort to talk with him proved abortive.

In another development, one of Blessing’s neighbours had said that the patent drug store owner who treated Ikedi on Tuesday night had come after them to pay her.

While they revealed that the sum of twenty thousand Naira had been given to Ikedi for that, the drug store owner said that she had no business with Ikedi, adding that they must pay her, else she will go back to the police officers.

The neighbour said that one of the boys who slept in the police cell on Tuesday night had agreed to pay the woman when he gets money.

TV/Movies / Not 18+? See How Kidstantic Will Change Your Story, Parents Pay Attention by hardynwa(m): 5:41pm On Oct 10, 2022
Creativity on the side of children has often been seen as God’s gift that can only manifest in adulthood.

Creative children are often forced to suppress that part of them because most african parents favour education over every other aspect of the child’s development.

Parents keep forgetting that at the end of the day, most of these kids struggle and still run back to those skills and talents for survival.

Only few celebrities of today got into their various genres below the age of 18 and Chinedu Hardy Nwadike, the founder of Kidstantic said that this anomaly also means the industry is flooded with people without the calling or clear talent to be there.

“With the economic situation in the country, people are willing to do anything that can put food on their table: acting, dancing singing inclusive and today a lot of people are doings things because it pays and looks easy”

“Most people who do these things today rejected them as kids or maybe their parents did, favouring the same certificate they have set aside for what used to be forbidden skills”, he said.

What is Kidstantic and What will it do?

Chinedu Hardy Nwadike further stated that to ensure that talented kids get the opportunity they deserve to develop their talents, they have put together strategies that will ensure a win-win situation for both parents and their children.

“Imagine having a talented kid genuinely starting early to showcase. Also imagine children being inspired by others like them who are also living in the situation, that is what Kidstantic is all about”

“We have a platform that lets children furge an early screen career. It also inspires others to start loving where they come from, knowing that the best of the best can come from there”

“We have different kinds of stories. They are issue based and the goal is to go beyond entertainment, create a new industry and change a lot of societal ills”, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is an award winning blogger and arthur said.

Kidstantic’s strategy according to Chinedu will ensure the right kids are voluntarily signing up for the project with the consent of their parents.

With the first audition billed for Owerri, Imo State, interested persons are urged to sign up via https://kidstantic.com/audition/, as it is the only way participation can be guaranteed.

TV/Movies / Anulika M. Okoro Speaks On Kidstantic Vision, Working With Children, Audition. by hardynwa(m): 8:25am On Sep 09, 2022
Legal practitioner, Anulika M. Okoro has said that the Kidstantic experience is like tender excitement.

Barr. Anulika who is one of the founders of Kidstantic said the project is being driven by the huge impact it is going to make in the lives of children across Africa.

She said that the Kidstantic team has created a new world for children where the children are also the building blocks.

"The way we see it here we often feel like children cannot do more than taking what they are given, but we see it the other way in kidstantic, where we believe talented kids can spring up from just anywhere and go ahead to reach the global stage"

"The project is to have children play key roles in telling stories meant for them and it is something that is not just unique, but has never been", she said.

She further stated that from experience as an entertainment and intellectual property lawyer, people hardly get what is due to them, adding that Kidstantic will right such wrongs.

"We have not put any price tag on our auditions especially, because we understand how priceless every talent is and when it comes to children, it's always amazing to see them grow in confidence to a fine level. That's more like tender excitement"

"The project is to provide something that isn't there and also ensure African children have their own specialized contents as it is meant to be"

"This is just the beginning of the process of injecting new flavours into the entertainment industry in Africa and we are making sure we have the right children for the job" she added.

Culture / Ji Mbaise: Between The Fighters, Runners, Buyers, And Sitters by hardynwa(m): 4:47pm On Aug 17, 2022
By Chinedu Hardy Nwadike

As expected, the Mbaise nation in Imo State has produced another annual spectacle in the name of the New Yam Festival.

What was supposed to be a cultural festival at least or maybe a carnival if the entire clan was united keeps being divided into pieces of what used to be a whole.

Ji Mbaise used to be a sacred celebration as Iri Ji (New Yam Festival) is known to be across Igbo land, but since the political veil was torn in Imo and politicians, especially the governors and gubernatorial aspirants have turned it into a cold war wrestling ring.

The history of Imo State has not done the celebration well with packets of violence recorded in the time of Rochas Okorocha when his supporters clashed with those standing for Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

The same Rochas Okorocha, seeing the political gold mine the Mbaise nation could become, ensured his anointed successor Mr. Uche Nwosu is conferred on a chieftaincy title that will end up seeing some traditional rulers suspended when that succession plan failed on 2019.

The heat of that event has lingered till date as every other political leader in the state has followed that divide and rule template set by now Orlu Zone Senator, Chief Okorocha.

While the game was ahead of the 2019 Gubernatorial election, the Mbaise nation later unveiled that they are owners of the chess board when a total of 149,971 votes were recorded in the three local governments of the clan.

The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha raked 127,241 of that 149,971 votes, more than 50 percent of the 273,404 that saw him emerge Governor before being ousted by the Supreme Court.

With politicians now aware that there could even be more votes from the three local governments, they now do everything possible to be politically relevant in the area.

Pray For Traditional Rulers

Mbaise traditional rulers need prayers as they have been the spear piercing the heart of their sacred heritage.

Should one say it is all about money and power, it would be an unfair accusation, but the words have still been said as traditional rulers often don't have a choice but to dance to the tune of the state governor or their agents if they don't want to see their Staff of office missing the next morning.

Most times they are divided between political parties or should I say between the braves and betrayals or PDP and APC.

Whichever way, someone must have the leftovers and make it look like the main meal.

Whoever takes his cut first, politics or tradition still leaves the rest for politicians who are not in power.

The Buyers have been ready.

In 2018 Eze Leo Nwokocha, then Chairman of the Mbaise Council of Traditional rulers worked against the directives of Ezurezu Mbaise who through the then President-General Chief Cyril Anyanwu, canceled the general Iri Ji Mbaise.

Eze Leo Nwokocha succeeded and even when the event was boycotted by prominent Mabise sons and daughters, then Governor Rochas Okorocha ensured it had an attending crowd that will be the envy of the history of the event.

Uche Nwosu got the title and even when many would replace 'got' with 'bought', words of similar sounds but different meanings and intentions, the truth will depend on your political alignment then and now. It will keep changing.

Even when Ezurezu Mbaise condemned and disowned the actions of the traditional rulers, one can never deny the fact that the event happened and we will never forget it.

We will also not forget the events that took place when Okorocha's succession plan failed. How traditional who found favour in the sight of ousted Emeka Ihedioha bullied the others with suspensions and banishments.

It's even a sad story like in Ukraine where they say Russia is fighting with the West via Ukraine, while all the bombs go off in not USA, UK, but in Ukraine.

This is me saying Mbaise is only hurting Mbaise.

The Sitters Have Arrived

Maybe I don't know much about Igbo traditional institution; maybe because I read history books authored by men who are Europeans at heart.

We understand the absoluteness of the power of a Governor, but having one seated while a traditional ruler stands to confer the Chieftaincy title on him makes it look like a joke.

We don't have to make our tradition a joke just because of money and power.

I see the traditional rulers who let that happen the same way I see all the bishops of "Agbedo" diocese who attended Bola Tinubu's unveiling of his vice presidential candidate.

It is a real joke and slap on both sides of the faces of the entire Mbaise Nation.

Governor Hope Uzodinma will not be the first politician sitting to take a title, it has been happening in Imo State, so it won't be a big deal, no one should even border I said this; I'm even sorry for bringing it up.

But you all know what is right or wrong depending on where your daily bread comes from.

The Runner Keeps Running

Like in mathematics where we have to find variables like x and y with some constants, it has been the case of Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the constant who had found Rochas Okorocha in the past and is now solving his way to finding the values of Governor Hope Uzodinma.

Sadly he has been fighting to run away, always picking what is left after the people in Government House have taken their share.

He wasn't able to witness much of this event as a governor, and just that once in 2019, he was able to make it a perfect carnival for "Umunne Governor" with other governors like Rt Hon Aminu Tambuwal in attendance.

Ever since Ihedioha has simply found a way to have his celebration boycotting whichever version is organized for the "owner" of Douglass House.

It was the same this year and one will begin to wonder when this will end. Won't it be good to have just one event with everyone in attendance or must it always be held on two different days for people with two different political ideologies - surely a waste of funds but business for decorators, caterers, and others.

Emeka Ihedioha will always be an Mbaise man and no matter how one sees it, the 'Mbaise Agenda' will always be alive, and politicians like him understand what it means to be the foremost custodian of that mandate.

The last time I delved into a similar subject, I had my Twitter handle "hardynwa" suspended for almost a year for reasons that were never explained by the company. Something unknown person even called me to brag about achieving.

I received threats via calls and emails from people within and outside the country all because a group of people who feel their wrong is good do exist.

In this case, if the truth is what it is meant to be, I expect more, but then as they say that once upon a time begins a story, there could be much more for us all if we work together to reduce waste and damages caused by politicians who lack sustainability mentality.

TV/Movies / Doing Something Different For Children: Kidstantic Project Will Be Fantastic And by hardynwa(m): 11:21am On Aug 17, 2022
One of the founders of Kidstantic, Hillary Uzomba has said the idea of the entire project is exciting and something he is looking forward to achieving with the rest of the team.

Hillary who is presently the Creative Director of the company said that beyond the excitement, everyone understands that it will take a lot of work to have fulfilled Kidstantic.

He said that the creating something different for Children and knowing that it will play a huge role in shaping the lives of thousands of kids around the world will be both fantastic and difficult.

“We see a hug problem and we are finding a solution for it. Consuming wrong contents and letting kids have wrong role models is a huge problem we have been ignoring and what we are working on will solve it”

“It’s a huge problem that needs to be solved and one that will ensure lots of children have the perfect childhood they deserve”, he said.

Hillary Uzomba who is an artist, creative writer and poet also added that the key thing is understanding that the entire project is for humanity and making the world a better place for children especially.

Condemning the concept of following trends and ignoring its toll on humanity, Hillary said that social media has made people delve into anything that will bring them engagement and not impacts.

He said that it is sad to note that people are no longer thinking about the impacts of what they are doing but will dwell on what they will make out of it.

"Children today watch just anything on TV and the internet. In some cases they get roles that are beyond their ages"

“Sometimes you ask what the producers of such contents were thinking, only for you to realize that no one is even complaining despite the huge effect on children” he added.

Kidstantic is expect to start releasing contents before the end of the year.

International business executive and president, Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, has called for a substantive plan to be put down for the post-covid-19 era as the survival of both national and global economies will depend on that.

Hon. Buchi George who spoke from Abuja, Nigeria said, Nations must put good plans down even when no one knows when a vaccine will be found for Covid-19.

“Most nations are hit so hard because there are fewer imports and exports. There has been loses in business and jobs of which not all will recover from the effects of the pandemic”

“Africa especially should have a great plan on how to make great contributions to the global economy. We need to not just be consumers but grow as producers working had to solve some the global needs yearning for solutions” he said.

Speaking further, Hon. Buchi George believes in the usual manner Globe Chambers of Commerce and Industry has been promoting trade and investment potentials in Nigeria and Africa, more has to be done to unveil opportunities in Nigeria to the world.

“Covid-19 has shown us what we are doing and what we are not doing well and while the world is waiting to completely open up, we have enough time to identify and prepare for collaborative investments in key areas that will make our economy better”

With international trade and investment summits lined up for different continents, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, believes his organizations are ready for economy changing impacts once international travel bans are lifted.

“Every country needs a lift and mutually beneficial strategies should be one thing no nation will be able to turn down in post-covid-19 era. We all need each other, but everyone must surely have something to offer for this to work”

“We are working with Ministry of Trade, Investment, Commerce and Industry and other relevant government agencies to ensure everything is in the interest of the country and in line with the plans of the Federal Government to build Nigeria’s economy”, he said.

Business / Buchi George Speaks On Plans For Post-covid-19 Era by hardynwa(m): 2:26pm On Jun 09, 2020
International Trade and Business Executive, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has likened his rise to prominence to painting on a canvas, saying it takes one stroke at a time to form the full image.

Buchi George who has been at the forefront of some international business and economic summits said that even when the picture of what he wants is incomplete, he is happy with where he is.

"Maybe this will inspire our youths but the life of a hardworking and ambitious person has to be planned and taken one step at a time", he said.

He added that the first thing is to have a plan and then following it step by step. "It feel like painting on a canvas; not every picture in the head of an artist are painted, and the same way, not all that are started are finished. Some start, give up and that's the end, while others who understand that every masterpiece was made by thousands of strokes, follow it gradually"

He recalled when he started his first company in 1999, with FOW Company Limited now registered in Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom, Canada and 15 other countries.

"I was still a student when the idea came and I put it down, kicked it off and gradually we are where we are today"

Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George who was speaking on how Nigerian youths especially can bounce back amidst the challenges of Covid-19, said the key thing to starting afresh or from scratch is planning and patience.

"The quick money syndrome has eaten down into the psyche of our youths in a way that people who have 5-year plan for instance look like fools amongst their peers.

"The truth is the only thing that takes away problems are solutions which means everyone should be busy thinking about the solution for the economic situation around the world"

He stated that youths who want to achieve something great take time to understand their environment and then find a way to help make it better.

While urging the Federal Government to have a sustainable plan that will lift Nigeria out of the Covid-19 lockdown effect, he advised that human capital development will be the easiest way out.

"Nigeria is a nation of entrepreneurs; almost everyone is into something but sometimes the environment and other infrastructural issues keep knocking them down. I'll go for a well planned support for SMEs, backed up with clear international relationships that will encourage both imports and exports between Nigeria and these countries"

Sitting as the president of Trade Nigeria, Globe Chamber of Commerce and other companies, Buchi George has shifted interested to 2021 with series of international business, investment and economic summits lined up.
"Covid-19 dealt us a blow, stopping up to five international events that were nearing kickoff dates and knowing we can't blame anyone for that, we have shifted plans to 2021, believing that the world will heal by that time"

With Nigeria – Asia Business and Economic Forum scheduled for China, Japan, Vietnam, and Taiwan put on hold because of Covid-19, there was also Euro – Africa Economic Summit 2020 and Africa – Asia Export Conference 2020 which failed to hold because of the global pandemic.

But with Canada-Africa Economic Forum scheduled for 2021, Buchi Gorge revealed that through Globe Chamber of Commerce they are shifting focus to 2021.

"We can't dwell on our loses, so we have to move on in our provision of international business solutions and we expect anyone who wants to succeed to move on with that", he said.
