Good morning my fellow Nigerians, my name is Salawu Akeem, a graduate of UNILORIN with B.Sc. in Mathematics and 26yrs old. I graduated on Oct. 2016. I started having these heart problem around late January, 2017 before going for NYSC service in Nasarawa state . It was during my service I started having more difficulties in breathing, sleeping, walking and on. So I went to the federal Medical Center keffi in Nasarawa , there I was transferred to University of Abuja teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada and I was diagnosed with ASD (Atrial septum defects) simply meaning am having HOLE in my heart and my health was deteriorating. I was told surgery is the best possible way to correct it by the doctor, then they transferred me to University of Nigeria teaching hospital, Enugu(UNTH) and the doctors came with the same conclusion after accessing me for one month plus and it was concluded I will need to undergo open heart surgery. Which will cost me #1.5 million. My brothers and sister, friends and family I need your support financial as I haven't even gotten anything to start with. Good evening fellow nairalanders, I want you guys to advise me on on what to do to make me self reliance. I'm a graduate of physics, and I'm done with my NYSC, I'm in a state of dilemma between going for my masters or learning something good that will fetch me regular income. I'm from a family that is a little below average, and I wouldn't like to do my MSc the way I rough my BSC. So I want you guys to advise me on what I can learn and that is not that cost in learning.
