Henry240: The guy on twitter that is peddling this story frequently contributes to this thread.
In my response to your comment a couple weeks back, I shared this photo as evidence that Nigerian Air Force fighter jets have operated from Niger. Funny thing is, I mentioned the air port as Diffa, however there is no evidence that those Nigerian planes truly were pictured in Diffa.
Lionel4power, Bidexii and African all copied that from his twitter handle.
Let me state clearly that he, Alameen Yaqup lifted the photograph from here, and proceeded to imagine a newly established FOB for the Nigerian Air Force.
There is no Nigerian Air Force Base or Forward Operating Base in Niger. It simply does not exist.
As part of the MNJTF, Nigerian Air Assets can cross into Niger and also land in Niger or Tchad or Cameroun. However to make up a story based on a conjecture only goes to drive a narrative that Nigerians are dishonest and untrustworthy.
There are many positives we've seen particularly from the Nigerian Air Force, however it would be reprehensible to go about hunting for glory. Pls lemme know the Twitter handle and also other twitter handles that tweet on military news and all. thanks |

bigpicture001: Longer bridges abroad dont hv this much pillers....bad engineering! Illiterate oshi.... abroad and Nigeria are the same abi.... Wherever you are thinking of abroad and Nigeria don't have the same Geological and Geographical factors, these are considered when constructing bridges |
Politics › Re: Construction Progress Of 2nd Niger Bridge. by harley88(m): 10:17pm On Aug 01, 2019 |
theenchanter: The question is..... since they can sandfill the construction site for heavy trucks to move materials, why can't they just sandfill that very place and build the road on it without building the bridge?
Won't it save more than building the bridge? Wouldn't building the road across stop the flow of the river And say during the rainy season, the volume of water in the river increases, the road gets flooded, people die........ I'm sure you'd be the first to point fingers at the FG for constructing bad roads. |

Chimaokigwe: You refused to mention Allen, Opebi, Adeniyi Jones, Oba Akran, Agidingbi. In fact, the entire Ikeja as the state capital.
Do you know that the revenue of Guinness Alone in Oba Akran is more than the IGR of like 3 or 4 states combined?
You failed to mention Apapa, whereas that location provides the highest revenue to the government outside oil?
You failed to mention Ilupeju, it appears you're ignorant of the economic activities in Ilupeju.
This is what happens when someone without a business tries to compile a list of businesses.
Go school, you no gree, you're here typing something that looks like the bride list of a cripple. baba calm down na abi the guy steal your babe ni but of course the list is thrash sha Mentioning business locations without agidingbi, ogba, Oba Akran is tantamount to treason |

The purpose of this thread is to cook in your kitchen, snap it and post. Please can we all stop making this thread revolve around Chasers, Preston, Cococandy, Mariangeles and the rest. They are all very good but doesn't mean we should centre the thread around them.
Abeg let's just post pics and recipes If possible and stop this annoying bickering and quarrels. |

Politics › Re: RUGA: Association Of Pig Farmers Writes Buhari, Demand “pig Colony” by harley88(m): 12:07pm On Jul 08, 2019 |
AbuuBilaal: Firstly, comparing pigs to cows is an erroneous comparison. Cows are eating by virtually everybody in the country. I do not know any tribe that doesn't eat beef. Rather, all other meat sources only supplement beef.
Secondly, it's a simple issue. Fulanis should take their cattle to the north and let's see who will lose more. Youruba man that can't even manage a dozen goats, how will he get meat for his wedding, naming and other ceremonies.
Thirdly, cattle is reared and grazed but pigs are confined. Until pigs are reared like cattle, there's no need for a 'puga' scheme.
Fourthly, ruga created to solve a societal nuisance. Meaning that it was born out of necessity. Farmers and cattle owners are struggling for scare resources - green pasture and land - but this isn't the case with piggery.
In summary, we should all try to be objective and realistic. A good and peaceful Nigeria will benefit us all. Let's not join hands with trouble makers and agents of anarchy.
I rest my case. You have sense |
