Update!!!!!

My dad's visa interview done and granted this morning.
I was still hoping to get a closer date for his appointment as I was only seeing Jan 2026 and earliest May 2025, so I waited patiently only to receive a mail from the consulate last Monday that an appointment has been scheduled for him for today. I was surprised but then remembered I had sent several mails to them that I have been unable to schedule an appointment due to the GTB receipt issue.
I told my dad about it and he went with the printed email inviting him for the appointment, alongside other documents of course
Long story cut short, appointment was quick and done within an hour.
Again, I don't know if this is the norm or He was just lucky but, all what I did is in the quoted below for those in similar situation with their GTB receipt.

What I did so far:
I raised several tickets discussing my concerns, made phone calls, had several chats, sent emails to Lagos consulate, so I don't know which one eventually worked out. If you are in similar condition, attach your receipt, screen munch whatever error is showing that is not allowing you proceed, raise a ticket and attach them, also do same and send as email to consulate office for either Lagos or Abuja.

To raise a ticket, go to your profile on the new service provider and select support from the list on your left side, it will take you to the page where you will the 'create a ticket' option near the general information just like in the picture attached.

Go to the website: www.usvisaappt.com
Select visa then select country as Nigeria if that is where the appointment will be holding
On the left side of the page down the screen, you will see 2 blue bars showing: click to chat and click to talk under it. You can pick either.

I paid for my Mum's visa on the old system. I couldn't get a date before the migration to the new system. I have tried to use the new system but I need to pay the visa fees again. Can anyone in a similar situation please help. I'm getting really frustrated. Thank you.

Hi,
Same issue with me for my dad
I raised a ticket to write about the issue from the new profile. I then had a chat with one of their ?agent/staff also from the new website a day later. I was told it would be resolved later that day which was now 48hrs after a I raised the ticket. I checked today and saw they had resolved it but told me to wait for another 48hrs to get an email about my new profile.
You do not need to pay another fee. I was told my previous fee is still valid and should be able to proceed with appointment booking after 48hrs. This is likely going to be till Monday then.

So you should raise a ticket and let them know your issue.

I believe I am doing the right thing by posting this here.
Is there anyone who needs or who knows someone that desperately needs baby clothes and they can't afford to buy new ones? I have some second hand female baby clothes mostly 0-6months sent to me by a family friend for my baby, unfortunately, they are not her size as she's past that age.

Please, these clothes are not new but still very good in shape, if interested,all you need to do is wash and maybe iron them(if that's safe and convenient).
I don't mind giving them all to a person.
I thought of disposing or sending them to an orphanage but decided to try out here in case someone might be in need.
^{*Thanks to this forum for saving my insanity during my crazy pregnant days, though I was a silent peeper*}

Will try to attach a pic or two.
So if there's anyone interested, quote me please, so we can communicate better.

Sorry, I'm just getting to reply. I don't know if you've gotten a reply or a way out, but I had to pay another visa fee and I was lucky to get same date as the former, for the interview.
