The scan results are unrelated to the problem at hand. But I will recommend you check VTM fluid. You will need a mechanic with a better understanding of your vehicle.
. Do u have any recommendation for someone at Aba cox that’s where he drives the car... if yes can I get the mechanic contact and if no please can u list the possible tinx to be checked or changed relating to the scan result. The vtm fluid would be checked as u noted but what should he be checking on the fluid is it low fluid or burnt fluid?... so if they are other things to check please give me an idea. Thanks

Goodmorning doc gazzuzz, my in-law scanned his Honda Pilot 2011 model cox it has a check engine light on and vtm-4 light on. He complains that the jerks and there’s noise coming from the rear side of the left tyre and it’s feels like something is dragging the brake at dat rear side.. mechanic check d brake pad and caliper and they looks okay. I attached a copy of the scanned result. I forgot to add the car vibrates as swell while accelerating

Now you are talking. Fix G sensor code and do not touch the Gearbox.
Okay sir I will do as u said... thanks a lot but doc I thought u said d G-sensor won’t cause any transmission related issues. Goodmorning Doc Gazzuzz

it will not cause transmission issues. Scan the transmission module
Goodevening Doc gazzuzz, I rescanned the car as instructed but the scanner guy couldn't find any fault relating to the gear. I asked him to scan the powertrain, transmission system(TCM) , abs and he even scanned the body system too but no code up , d only code the came back was that of the G-sensor.. The transmission is still stucked on lower gear and won't accelerate more than 40-45mph... My mechanic is suggesting I change the gear sensor and change the gear oil. Please help me out I don't want them to tamper with the car

Most G sensors are located in center of the vehicle. (Parking brake area)

Sorry to disturb sir I’m just curious if the sensor is faulty can it cause the gear to get stuck in a particular gear? The car selects to reverse well it’s just stuck on gear 2 if accelerating.... thanks

P1588. G sensor stands for Gravity sensor. (Yaw rate sensor in toyota)

Use this to diagnose fault.

Good afternoon Mr Gazzuzz, I have a Nissan Sentra which have been using for two years now no issue but recently I noticed that the gear is locked up in a particular gear doesn’t enter gear 3&4(is an auto transmission)... so I decided to scan the car and they gave me a code of p1588 G-sensor... a mechanic said it’s the gear sensor and he said I should replace it but I want to be sure on what to do I haven’t heard any issue with the car before that’s y I’m trying to be more careful on the repair... please what’s is the possible fix to this issue...
Location: Aba
Thanks in advance as I wait for your reply..
