HENCEFORTH candidates willing to register for Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations conducted by West African Examination Council (WAEC) National Examination council (NECO) and National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) are at liberty to register only the subjects of their choice, the Federal Government has said.

This is contrary to the existing policy where students were compelled to register more than seven subjects per sitting even though, he or she needed three or four subjects to remedy his or her result.

Minister of State for Education, Mr Kenneth Gbagi, who made this known in a statement he personally signed in Abuja, on Thursday, said the new policy took effect from the November/December 2011, registration for the examinations.

He also said the registration fee paid to WAEC, NECO and NABTEB for November/December examinations for external candidates had nothing to do with the number of subjects that the candidate was to sit for.

Gbagi in the statement entitled: “Conduct of November/December examinations by WAEC, NECO and NABTEB” said: “The general public is hereby informed that the registration fee paid to WAEC, NECO and NABTEB for November/December Examinations for external candidates has nothing to do with the number of subjects that the candidate is to sit for.

“The Federal Ministry of Education has directed that as from November/ December 2011, a candidate is at liberty to register only for the subjects he or she requires,” the minister said.

Despise the crises rockin plateau state and with the kind of exortic arms civilians carry around, it will interest you to know that some policemen called constable are been posted to different location in the state without arms to protect the people. The constable only carry stick around. It will interest you to know that most of the attacks in plateau state is been carried wit sophisticated type of arms of which the police don't have, my question is how can a police man protect a civilian witout GUNS and the nigerian army all have GUNS.

Dose Asking 4 confirmation 2 believe are not serious, i reside in jos that's exertly was happen, in my area two pple were shot dead by unknown lunatics on there way home around 7-8pm 2day. We heard 4 gun shots from an unknown destination. So guys it happen 4 real. Every body 4 my area dey out.

To cut the story short, two things are happening in jos and all at night, these pple cums to still cows and to kill pple. So many villages dont have cows but were attached by fulanis were women and children are always the victim. None of these fulanis have eva been arrested, but they wil cum and steal and kill pple, when thd pple try to revenge the JTF arrest them.

Someone said it was politically motivated to split Nigeria, since the inception of Obj it has always been crisis Jos, Maiduguri, etc, also there is sentiment from the Jang and company they are also causing the whole confusion, he is marginalizing other tribes in the state even the Beroms too, if you are not from Du village forget it.

I dey laugh, who give Berom cows? What about the cows they stole from the Fulani's? The Beroms stole more than 400 cows during the last crises, and as for the Fulani man its better you kill him than touching his cows, so I guess they went back to get what belongs to them.

The best thing for Plateau is to get an emergency state and prosecute those involved, they the government knows all those involved. I pray that peace comes back to the Plateau, Amen.

dat's a lie, where did u get that news from, because the Govornor refuses pple to do business as usual in the government, that is why all these stories are coming out. Let wait and c, if dat's wat u think he is doing let wait 4 2011 and c,if he wins that means all that have been said was a lie. Remember only berom pple cannot vote him into power.
