Business / Five Ways To Organize Your Personal Documents Better by havilahgroup: 3:34pm On Sep 25, 2020
Have you ever needed a document for whatever application or registration urgently and couldn't find them?

We've all been there and some useful tips to avoid this situation are:

1. Scan items as soon as you get them so they don’t start piling up. (Check our previous post for how to do this)

2. Store your online documents on a cloud (e.g Google Drive or iCloud) Also keep a physical backup of it in your possession somewhere.

3. Back up your folders in a USB stick and keep safely to prevent corruption.

4. Save all documents in .pdf format. It’s universal and would last a lifetime.

5. You can hire a company to help you do it with their hardware and software. This is much easier to handle since you typically only need to send a box of documents over to the company and have them manage it from their side.

If you wish to consider the second option then visit http://www.havilahgroup.ng/scanning/ to request a quote.
Business / The Best Way To Scan A Lot Of Documents Quickly by havilahgroup: 4:04pm On Sep 23, 2020
Although papers are still necessary for signatures and legal documents, in today's era, it is best to digitize paper records for easy administration and here are some ways to scan documents quickly:

Using document scanning apps;

1. Adobe Scan
2. Abbyy FineScanner
3. Genius Scan
4. Scanbot
5. CamScanner

Using third party services : You can hire a company to help you do it with their hardware and software. This is much easier to handle since you typically only need to send a box of documents over to the company and have them manage it from their side.

Webmasters / Re: How Do I Transfer From Paper To Soft Copy Without Typing? by havilahgroup: 1:43pm On Sep 23, 2020
Hi,

The quickest way to go around this is to

1. Open the Google Drive app .
2. In the bottom right, tap Add .
3. Tap Scan .
4. Take a photo of the document you'd like to scan.
Adjust scan area: Tap Crop .
Take photo again: Tap Re-scan current page .
Scan another page: Tap Add .
5. To save the finished document, tap Done .

If you intend to scan in bulk, you can head over to http://www.havilahgroup.ng/scanning/ or just visit 2, Allen Avenue, Akin Taylor Estate, Ikeja.
