Good day to all the gurus on this thread working to help put us through and answer our questions. I just started this process and a friend of mine also wants to commence hers too. Now shes in a dilemma and I want to seek your opinion on her case.
She just started a thriving business here in Nigeria and it's really thriving for her. Her husband also just started a company with great prospects. However, she wants to apply for skilled worker program because she doesn't know what the future holds and she also doesn't want to wait incase this program is cancelled in the nearest future in order to avoid regrets. So the question is cam she apply for these skilled workers program and not live permanently in Canada. Can she be going in and out. We googled it and it days one has to have spent a total of 1000 days to be eligible for citizenship in a period of 5 years. But we dont know if its continuous period of 1000 days. Can someone with a pr status live in an out of Canada and still be eligible for citizenship. Thanks

Pardon me if my corrections were harsh, but I'd rather be harsh with you here than the examiner on your exam scripts. 75k must not waste. To usher in my first 100 days as a professorial grading officer (PPR scripts) , I have decided to make the marking scheme more transparent. I know some of you might wonder "how did this person get this score?" "how do they mark it"?

I am going to carry over two scripts from the part 7, but before I mark them, here's the marking scheme:

Your script should contain the basics (it should be comprehensive, see below) which has the highest score. The remaining marks will be given for details, creativity and encouragement.

1. Basic parts (in any order)- 4 marks
Timeline
NOC
ECA
IELTS
Medicals
PCC
POF
Proof of work experience
Post-AOR/Waiting time
Any other useful step (ADRs, Interviews, Addition of spouse etc, earlier rejection)

2. Details: How detailed is your script? 2 marks

3. Motivational value: Does it inspire or encourage us? 2 marks

4. Creativity: Were you creative? 2 marks

No 1 is most important. Your scripts should contain ALL the basics.

Scripts lacking all the basics will be graded 3 and below

Scripts with only attendance value (e.g 1 to 3 line scripts) will be graded -1 and below


P.S Grader has the discretion to assign decimal points depending on the story.

Note: Vacancy exists for 1 assistant. First you will be on traineeship for a couple of weeks, afterward you will assume full marking responsibilities

Qualification: Passed IELTS, you can be awaiting ECA, post-ITA is an added advantage (this is to be assured of your commitment to this

Mehn, i can't believe this for real...i just decided to check the score line, seeing Liverpool trailing by 4-0 is just shocking. That's a big lesson for us to learn that its never too late to succeed provided determination and hardwork comes to play.

Hmmm I really don't know but trust me there is a long queue since February that is yet to be attended to for want of booklets both in Lagos and Abeokuta.I believe those will be treated first before this new passport is activated however, it's better you apply now so that it could be issued to you early.

See me yesterday sharping my mouth during a phone conversation with my friend that no application can take a year without something wrong with the application (Adrs, interviews etc). This is really insightful to me. I was preparing my mind for 8 months, I will add 3 months extra
