Good day to all the gurus on this thread working to help put us through and answer our questions. I just started this process and a friend of mine also wants to commence hers too. Now shes in a dilemma and I want to seek your opinion on her case.
She just started a thriving business here in Nigeria and it's really thriving for her. Her husband also just started a company with great prospects. However, she wants to apply for skilled worker program because she doesn't know what the future holds and she also doesn't want to wait incase this program is cancelled in the nearest future in order to avoid regrets. So the question is cam she apply for these skilled workers program and not live permanently in Canada. Can she be going in and out. We googled it and it days one has to have spent a total of 1000 days to be eligible for citizenship in a period of 5 years. But we dont know if its continuous period of 1000 days. Can someone with a pr status live in an out of Canada and still be eligible for citizenship. Thanks
Possible inasmuch she adheres to the requirement of becoming a citizen!

Hello All,

Do not be anxious for nothing but with prayers and supplications, let your request be made known to your maker. He will make everything beautiful at the right time.

Cheers.

Good afternoon All,

I took time to contact designated employers under AIPP and got feedbacks from Invesco (invesco.com) and TTEC (ttecjobs.com) to submit my CV. Interested applicants can go to their sites and apply. I hope this will help someone out there.

Thank you so much for sharing your timeline but it just occurred to me that you had over 5 days since you last dropped the one line PPR notice (on May 15) and you couldn't inspire us with your script? You score 1/10

@Abti Much has been said about structure by our able guru @johnnybravo1990 and others, now let's focus on grammar. I hope you are not heartbroken by your many mistakes. Pardon me if my corrections were harsh, but I'd rather be harsh with you here than the examiner on your exam scripts. 75k must not waste. To make you feel better, I have put the niceties about your essay in bold in my comments grin The bolded in your essay are your errors.
Well done ladymarshall. You can pick up a part time job with British Council. Sure that will you earn more than $35 per hour.cheesy

To usher in my first 100 days as a professorial grading officer (PPR scripts) grin, I have decided to make the marking scheme more transparent. I know some of you might wonder "how did this person get this score?" "how do they mark it"?

I am going to carry over two scripts from the part 7, but before I mark them, here's the marking scheme:

Your script should contain the basics (it should be comprehensive, see below) which has the highest score. The remaining marks will be given for details, creativity and encouragement.

1. Basic parts (in any order)- 4 marks
Timeline
NOC
ECA
IELTS
Medicals
PCC
POF
Proof of work experience
Post-AOR/Waiting time
Any other useful step (ADRs, Interviews, Addition of spouse etc, earlier rejection)

2. Details: How detailed is your script? 2 marks

3. Motivational value: Does it inspire or encourage us? 2 marks

4. Creativity: Were you creative? 2 marks

No 1 is most important. Your scripts should contain ALL the basics.

Scripts lacking all the basics will be graded 3 and below

Scripts with only attendance value (e.g 1 to 3 line scripts) will be graded -1 and below

P.S Grader has the discretion to assign decimal points depending on the story.

Note: Vacancy exists for 1 assistant. First you will be on traineeship for a couple of weeks, afterward you will assume full marking responsibilities

Qualification: Passed IELTS, you can be awaiting ECA, post-ITA is an added advantage (this is to be assured of your commitment to this
thread, [s]research has shown that dedication to the EE cause and this thread is intensely aroused and heightened after passing
IELTS[/s])

Disqualified: PPR holders ([s]because research has shown that 90% of PPR announcees abandon us here over time, diverting their loyalty
to the sister thread, we are not jealous o, we are just saying[/s] grin

Salary: Thanks and heartfelt gratitude; volunteer position, no monetary pay

Kindly indicate interest here publicly first so all can note your commitment and public declaration. Then I will send you a pm or you can
pm me

Take all the time you need to decide and think about it, don't rush, we have time. Part 8 has only begun grin grin
Rem. is not involved. Prefer to stay on the fence!

Hmmm I really don't know but trust me there is a long queue since February that is yet to be attended to for want of booklets both in Lagos and Abeokuta.I believe those will be treated first before this new passport is activated however, it's better you apply now so that it could be issued to you early.
Thanks

Wow!!! 1 yr and 4 mnths? No issue, nothing? shocked shocked Thank you so much for sharing. See me yesterday sharping my mouth during a phone conversation with my friend that no application can take a year without something wrong with the application (Adrs, interviews etc). This is really insightful to me. I was preparing my mind for 8 months, I will add 3 months extra grin grin grin

Congratulations. All the best to you.
Don't fret. Yours may come out earlier.
