This is to inform the public to avoid Cyberpower inverters sold by Buyright and Pragmatic Technologies as much as possible. I have used 2 of them and the most recent one has been sent to them for repairs twice in the 5 months i have used it while i have been charged N50,000 to fix a fault in the previous one i had which hardly makes any sense. The worst part is the customer service from the dealers (Pragmatic Technologies) who try to extract money from you at all cost if it gets damaged even when it is under warranty. This is done by insisting on collecting installation fees from buyers to exercise their warranty. As far as i am aware they are the only dealers doing this in the market now. The 3.5kva I had before was terribly inefficient, it doesn't last up to 4 hrs with 20% load, this could be due to the huge fans it has which keep drawing current from the batteries when it is in inverter mode despite costing N150,000. It also used to draw large amounts of current from my 6.5kva gen when charging. Of course no one will tell you this until you have bought it and it starts affecting your generator. It ended up frying my batteries and even stopped working at some point, i took it for repairs and was told to bring 50k to fix it. I do not deal on inverters and i am not suggesting any particular inverter for anyone to buy but please stay away from Cyberpower inverters and pragmatic technologies. The stress they will put you through if you have issues with their products is not worth it. |

Have you wondered why your inverter batteries die in less than 6 months-1yr? The chargers that come with most of the inverters in this market are really low amp trickle chargers, they might tell you it is 10 amps charging current but after empirical testing we found very few of them meet up to 5-7amps max charging current which is simply incapable of properly charging the average 200ah battery bank. The afore mentioned charging current is still dependent on the input ac voltage from PHCN or gen, so if there is low voltage in your area or you are using generator then your charger will trickle charge your batteries. We have a solution that saves you money on changing your inverter batteries in less than a year. The solution you need is the Meanwell Multistage smart battery chargers from the US. This ultra modern microprocessor controlled charger will deliver a maximum charging current of 20-40Amps with voltages as low as 90v-264v. This is simply exceptional performance which is not available in this market at the moment. See some of the other features below. 2/3/8 stage charging Universal AC input / Full range Built-in active PFC function PF>0.95 Protection: Reverse polarity / Short circuit / Over voltage / Over temperature Charger for lead-acid batteries 3 color LED loading indicator (depends on charging current) Built-in remote ON-OFF control Built-in temperature compensation function Built-in fan speed control The most premium feature which we are most proud of is its active power factor correction(Active PFC) function which drastically reduces the power the charger drains from your generator and efficiently charges your batteries unlike most other chargers and inverters that barely charge your batteries when you use a generator. We guarantee that this intelligent charger will charge your batteries perfectly with generator power and will protect and nurture your batteries for years to come. These ultra premium range of deep cycle chargers will be available in Nigeria by the first week of August. Please send any enquiries to jovib7@yahoo.com
