I'm thinking of using a design which requires few pipes and more of flatbar designs ...

Cos an inch pipe is now 1450 from 1650 naira and a flatbar length shld be around 500 or 550 naira now.

Kindly post any burglary pic u have with a design using more of flatbars than iron pipes...

I actually priced the tiles already and told him the sizes for each areas of the house ...

But the quantity quoted still seem outrageous ...

The pics below were taken when I went to price the tiles in January...

1. Bedroom, kitchen and toilet floor - 65sqm
2. Toilet and kitchen walls - 79sqm
3. Sitting room, presit, dinning and bar floor - 78sqm
4. Outside wall - 23sqm

Kindly help me estimate the quantity so I can see how much difference it is ...

*Toilet floor should be 11 cartons not 16
*Buy 20 bags of cement, the tiler should start with that, buy more as work progress.
*78sqm for sitting room is too much, measure your sitting room your self, it shouldn't be more than 30sqm.



600k will comfortably finish the job, it could be less if you are buying Nigerian tiles.

The sitting room was measured with presit, dinning and bar ...
But I will take ur advise... Buy half of all he quoted, bag of white cement and make sure I supervise the work all day and everyday ...

Considering the roofing by material m seeing on the facing board, that's a long span material and I doubt if u even know what that aluminium roofing cost on a 4 bedroom flat...

Also, if the interior is correctly finished (as we can't see it from the pic), u need to check around for the cost of finishing these days...

Finally, I stand to be corrected on the price but even if the house cost 4 million, I don't think that petty trading could have built it for that woman...
