The Slush Global Impact Accelerator Nigeria bootcamp Final pitch day which took place at Heartland Hub Owerri- Oluaka Institute was indeed a suspense filled as all around had no idea who would win.
Inspite of the heavy downpour,people still flocked in to listen to the shortlisted startups pitch.

After a rigorous pitching session, Gerocare, Afagreen and Aron Delivery startup won the Slush Global Impact Accelerator Nigeria bootcamp.
They will represent Nigeria at SLush GIA Helsinki, Finland by november.

If you can remember when the Slush Impact Accelerator application form which was published by @HeartlandHub Owerri. They later shortlisted 15 impact driven entrepreneurs that made it to the local accelerator programme held at @OluakaInstitute where the participants will stay in a bootcamp till the final pitch, where 3 impact driven entrepreneurs whose working in conjunction with the UN-SDG Sustainable Developmental Goals 2030.
After which the 3 selected impact startups will travel to Helsinki, Finland for Slush, which will connect them to global network of investors and entrepreneurs.

The Summer of Code is a fun, interactive 4-week programme introducing kids aged 5-18 years to computer science and programming. The programme teaches kids new skills and tools, improves their problem solving abilities and gives them new ways of expressing their digital creativity!

What kids learn:

At the Summer of Code, kids learn to make connections with their interests and technology. Learning is project based, as students are taught how to design computer games and animations using Scratch, design web pages using HTML/CSS and build computer applications using Python. Kids also develop their soft skills in the following areas: collaboration, presentation, communication, time management and project management.

Kids are grouped according to their age and experience using the various programming languages that will be taught.
Juniors I : 5- 8 years
Juniors II: 9-14 years
Seniors : 15-18 years
