In all fairness. This Biometrics exercise is called for. A situation whereby one civil servant pockets the salary of six persons cant be tolerated by any serious government..but our concern is should thousand of innocent workers suffer because of these few crooks?
Here are some practical solutions to remedy the short comings of the ongoing exercise.
1.the state government should establish more Biometrics audit centres /increase the personal engage in the exercise. Because its now becoming clear that the snail paced exercise could be caused be this.
2.the Biometrics people should be given TARGETS daily of not less than 500 people daily to attend to.
3.modalities should be put in place to ensure that people get paid at most 5 days after doing their Biometrics.
4.finally, considering the hardship suffered by rivers workers. The state government may consider temporary suspending the exercise and pay workers and later continue with it.

This is one insensitive attitude to the plight of the rivers civil servants that has been taken too far.. suddenly ordinary food stuffs like garri is now a luxury to a rivers state worker..

yes you can collect print out same day. go wit your LGA identity certificate and your atm card. good luck

OK thanks.please LGA are you of? . Mine is the NIMC own. And its just a print out that contains the holders face and details. They say our plastic id cards ain't ready even tho we applied for it since 3 years ago.

let me get this straight.. so if this snail paced Biometrics exercise continues till December. thats only when we will be paid?

Yea.. Like in my school some persons were not paid February salary but they were paid may and april after thier biometric but i think it will be sorted out because they have made their complain in all the necessary avenue

I just tire for the whole thing! is becoming a matter of the more you look the less you see. I just wonder why the delay in a simple exercise like this? Why are they pushing teachers or civil servants into unnecessary hardship and borrowing? Can they get the best from workers in this situation? .... They better be fast because an hungry man is an angry man....person no go carry empty belle go work o.

his claims are in order. phalga started a couple of weeks back... we just need to be on the alert. else some people may miss their dates

AWELGA has gotten its serial number for the Biometrics exercise but no date has been fixed for it

please has anyone seen a person that was captured and got paid immediately after the exercise?

oyegbo LGA receives serial numbers while asalga and akulga are yet to receive, why cant they do this alphabetically?

Sorry I forgot to ask.. was statement of account required? If yes. Was it from October last year to April this year? Thanks

ATM card was needed, I suspect it's just to confirm that your bank name truly matches your name on the biometrics system. All photocopies are done by them do save yourself the expenses, go with all originals.

Sorry for the late update: Had my biometrics done yesterday, was too tired to come online. It's actually the turn of UBE Obio Akpor until tomorrow Friday I think.

The exercise is pretty straight forward. Names & serial numbers are sent to your schools, you use those to get entry into the venue then you're issued a slip to give relevant info. i.e. BVN, DoB, Names etc. Your docs like staff ID, national ID/voters card/international passport, staff ID, appointment letter, last promotion letter etc etc are checked then you're snapped & have your prints taken. Shekinah!

NB. I'll advise you try and reach the venue as soon as you can say b4 8 a.m. as early arrivals tend to have a more snappy exercise.

biometrics has since on Monday started with some UBE schools In Phalga especially CSS Oroworokwo UBE and others

for real, please can you get someone that has done his share the procedure that was involved with us?
