OP has a point. I Usually have severe eye pain and itching for days whenever I use my phone in the dark with the brightness level above 5. Before it used to be whenever the use it above zero. Looks like my eyes adapted as I kept using it.

when there is auto icon. Once u set this, your phone brightness adjust automatically.
