CrimeRe: Why Are Criminal Suspects Always Stripped Naked? by Heeyhun(f): 8:24pm On Nov 02, 2012
I think its to stigmatise them, for me, going unclad in public is the worst that could happen to an average human especially women. Anyways, i have come to understand that hardened criminals don't feel any remose even if they are paraded the whole of Nigeria unclad, it makes no difference to them...

Nickydrake: If you are curious enough to google the very word 'coincidence', you will be sure to encounter stories that match and perhaps surpass that really chilling trick fate played on the two presidents.
The tale of Major Summerford ranks high among my favourites, as well as that of Joseph Figlock and the careless mother.

Perhaps the most bizarre of them all is the story of certain unnamed brothers who met with death on separate occasions at a certain junction in Bermuda. Each had been riding the very same motorbike, been struck by the very same taxi, which was of course driven by the particular driver on each occasion. And what is even more incredible is that said taxi had the same passenger in it on both occasions. The accidents are said to have occurred exactly a year apart. Creepy eh?
really creepy
EducationRe: Nigerian Universities' E-learning System by Heeyhun(op): 4:02pm On Sep 26, 2012
Yes, the fact is if its being managed effectively it might turn out well... But i tell you, i'm offering an online course now and i sincerely don't like it, although it has a forum like you said but most students find it diffult to ask questions and even if they do, they don't get satisfactory answers...

Christianity EtcRe: TB Joshua - Pray Nigeria's Flag Doesn't Fly At Half-mast by Heeyhun(f): 10:28pm On Sep 24, 2012
''Jugde not so ye will not be judged'' whether the prophesy is fabricated or not, don't we all think Nigeria deserves just two minutes of our time to pray for her? Believe me, if Nigeria is going to change for good, we have to start by being humble enough to go back to God...and to those 'prophesying' or rather 'wishing' the First lady dead, you are none worse than a fake prophet... God save us!
EducationNigerian Universities' E-learning System by Heeyhun(op): 11:52pm On Sep 23, 2012
The world's fast evolving into a tiny global village, Nigeria inclusive. Over the years, various sectors in the country have adopted methods to improve their technological system...the educational sector isn't left out. From e-payment (you get to pay school fees, post utme fees anywhere in the country which beats the stress of queing up in the school or bank for hours) to e-test (very fast and efficient although it gives most students cold feet) and then e-learning (you don't have to attend classes and listen to those long and boring lectures, just there in the comfort of your room on an e-device is the lecturer and your coursemates, all you need do is be online...sounds cool huh?)...here are its major flaws it reduces the lecturer-student relationship, there probably would be no student-student interaction and it kindles the lackadaisical attitude in students...maybe i'm being archaic or i'm not veiwing it from a different perspective. Fellow nairalanders whats your take on this?

reversing your decisions attimes doesn't make you a weak person, it means you weighed you options and chose the best. GEJ's action is commendable, i bet a whole lot of other 'people' wouldn't do that...

As funny as it sounds, this question caused a lot of uproar in my philosophy class yesterday. Half the class supported the notion while the other half argued that animals act based on instincts and not reasoning or thinking. Please, I need convincing facts(either way). Thanks
