Did SA GDP reduce by fifty percent in one year? I am referring to Nigeria. SA may have its challenges but it is still the number one immigrant worker destination in Africa. Their tax to GDP ratio is not bad. Their budget is like 140 billion dollars for 50 million people. Their GDP can't be much higher than 500 billion dollars. They have one of the best public health care in Africa and they are fast becoming like western Europe. They are more or less a welfare state now just like western Europe

My arguments is not based on how much percentage of SA GDP reduction, but how things have been stagnant in South Africa for years but people are not paying attention.

I wrote about it on this same forum saying both South Africa and Egypt are using old glory to lead the Africa economy or GDP as the reality is saying otherwise.

South Africa as an example, they are not used to generator because they always have light, even when they have few hours light off sometimes, their weather is friendly not to required Fan or Ac.

But when they started having 12 hours light rotation, it caught them unaware. Majority of those running frozen business shut down or downside within 6 months
