Are you saying that in your secondary school, you were thought that minimum wage causes inflation.

If you are going to blame the minimum wage as the cause of inflation, I must confess, you learn nothing

You are now implying that The current high inflation the country is experiencing at the moment is because of the N30000 minimum wage

Ridiculous minimum wage would cause inflation, I didn't say normal minimum wage would cause inflation. Don't twist things deliberately .

The questions which I asked about the unrealistic labour proposal, you ignored it but trying to shift the goal post

Which is more of a tantrum? Does calling organized labour "unserious" qualify as a compliment?

Is there hardship in Nigeria? Yes

Is government doing something about it? Yes

Government can't be apologizing if they are not aware of the hardships

I agree with you. It is the duty of labor union to fish out ghost workers and not the government.
Also, the ghost workers and unqualified are the ones siphoning money and not corrupt politicians.

They even forgot about inflation. Asking for 500k as minimum salary will inflate everything, things of 1k might rise to 10k.

I still remember vividly what caused a governor his second term election in my state back then.

He increased the workers salary and went to the market places to tell the market women to increase the price of goods as his has increased the workers salary. That was it. He loss his reelection as an incumbent.

With the Labour union unrealistic proposal, inflation is inevitable

Organized labour provided the breakdown of whatever they present to government. Government on the other hand could not justify the paltry some they are brandishing. This is why we advise that when workers are talking, internet trolls should keep quiet. Politics is not about exhibition of stupidity and supporting a government should not make us empty our brains like zombies.

Again, why is it just so hard for you Obidients, yes Obidients to make your comments without throwing tantrums?

Won't the comments that are devoid of tantrums make sense to you guys?

You guys can't be making tantrums a regular trademark

Politics / ₦500,000 Minimum Wage: The Labour Union Are Unrealistic With Their Proposal by helinues: 6:04am On May 23
Where do the Labour union expect the government to get the funds? To borrow or to increase more tax base which Nigerians are fuming at both?

What should happen to private sector workers, how would they be able to cope in the same economy where the government workers would be earning X300% of their basic salary?

What would happen to Nigeria economy with government paying N500k as salary? Inflation of course.

Labour union are only after salary increase but not after fishing out the ghost workers and those with shady certificates who consume chunk of the salaries paid by government

They are being realistic bro

The only people that should be realistic here is the government

They are being realistic with N500k as minimum wage?

Where do they expect the government to get the funds? To borrow or to increase more tax base which Nigerians are fuming at both?

What should happen to private sector workers, how would they be able to cope in the same economy where the government workers would be earning X300% of their basic salary?

What do you think would happen to Nigeria economy with government paying N500k as salary? Inflation of course.

Now, this is becoming a comedy

31 states owe CBN 340BN bailout funds

The bail out funds was mostly for salary, that's N30k minimum wage oo

Government and Labour should settle for N70-N80k for now. Then fish out the ghost workers who are consuming Chunk of the salaries, money saved from that should be added to new minimum wage in a year or so
