franchasng:
That is what they want to do but your APC and Presidency are desperate and using the Judiciary against all opposition parties, so how then will they follow the democratic ways when the Presidency and the ruling party aren't giving room for that democracy to happen? You don't want opposition to have a political platform to challenge you, you want to select the Presidential candidates you would contest with just like he did in APC Primaries in 2022? It won't work at all.

Na anarchy them de find so, watch and see....politics and religious matters are what causes civil wars in all nations
Okay. So it was Apc that took ADC to court right? Please on which allegations, may be I might have missed out

Would court have been involved in the dispute within ADC had they put their house in order? So Apc should be blamed for that right?

Why are the opposition and their supporters not even interested in taking responsibility for any of their own actions without blaming others?

PoliticsRe: Law or Labyrinth: Is Nigeria’s New Electoral Act a Dead End for Democracy? by helinues: 11:10am On Apr 27
I will reserve my opinion on this thread because immediately after the 2023 election, I started raising loopholes in the last adjusted electoral act, possible rectification for them and some new adjustment.

Just like the opposition leaders who are not even having any particular direction, so as there supporters who were speaking in tongues on threads related to electoral reforms.

Abeg, is it when election is less than a year they find it suitable to be having the discussion.

They will learn in a bitter way

I said that is what causes civil wars in most nations; undermining opposition......they have a very large support based in the country and that can lead to anything, so the best thing is to apply wisdom and allow the rule of law to prevail than using the judiciary against opposition it is playing with fire and can backfire real bad
If they have a very large support base, why can't they go in a democracy way and use their strength to win on the ballot?

And please also save the story of rigging, South East led the most rigged region in 2023 election and Peter Obi was the direct beneficiary

Its for a different reason; they were arrested on alleged corruption charges and every Nigerian wishes all corrupt politicians end up in jail, so its a different thing.

But you see suppressing opposition and trying to foist yourself on the nation without giving opposition a chance to exercise their constitutional right, that's the most dangerous path that leads to civil wars and possible disintegration of most nations.

Go and check what causes civil wars in nations, its politics not fight against corruption
What you are advising the opposition to do , the crime is more serious than corruption because that's treason. May be you should read about it

Opposition leaders should grow some balls.....APC in 2013 threatened to install a parallel government should Jonathan win 2015 election.

It is very clear the people putting crises in all known opposition parties.....give him fire for fire...he cannot arrest Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Aregbesola, David Mark, et al, them no born them well.....make it clear that if Supreme Court deliver any contrary judgment that undermines democracy with all the clear signs, including the leaked video where one of them was telling a serving Senator not to leave ADC but to remain there and scatter the party promising they would give him all the support he needs.....threaten to go ahead to announce your own President that will govern those Nigerians that support the opposition....that is the only way to cure this APC madness angry angry
Elrufai and Malami have been in and out of court for some months now even though that was how you people threatened initially

You people will hide behind your phone and be inciting others to do things that will put them in trouble and still be the one to cry victim about it when the. government act on their reckless statement or incitement

Military , Army, Navy bases have been concentrated in North for years. This is indirect restructuring of the security sector

See yeye tactics by the Failed coalition of Northern fraudsters trying to remain relevant. They thought by blackmailing the judiciary, the judgement would go their way. grin

Law doesn't respect emotions. The honourable justices of the Supreme Court are going to pass judgement based on the facts before them..and not on any online gutter emotional manipulations.
it's just annoying how the opposition we have in Nigeria have been behaving.

They took themselves to court yet want to be blaming the presidency? Would INEC or court have gotten into their mess if they didn't have internal party issue?

They are just too disorganized to take power in 2027
PoliticsRe: Pressure On Supreme Court Justices: ADC Stakeholders Demand Explanation From APC by helinues:
Someone should make it logical to me, was it the presidency or Apc that took the ADC people to court?

Would the Supreme court have gotten involved if there was no internal party issue in ADC?

Why are the opposition making jokes of themselves like this

The summit which was held in Ibadan where some opposition factions in LP, Pdp agreed with the resolution, other factions of those party have distanced themselves from the resolution. Which eventually, it will still be blamed on president Tinubu

Election is less than a year yet the so called opposition who want to take power are in the storm of disarray

You have a point sha because they clearly had you in their crosshairs and seemed to be wanting to outdo each other in presenting the most ridiculous responses to your clearly articulated posts in order to shut you and your threads down.

I am still existing under their collective radar for now so just the one or two Obidient nuisances to counter which means I don't need to block en masse just yet.

We do need a special block Obidients button here on Nairaland actually. Will be quicker to do it en masse in one go than individual multiple monikers.
Because they like gossiping, they like to follow each other. That's where I normally target them. One attack on my opinion, the person who attacked plus 5 people from his group go receive.

I don't quote or mention them, they are the one who do with laced insult and attacking

Took the words out of my mouth, only Obidients can now post about Peter Obí or in threads referencing him.

I have said it before, if Peter Obi becomes President of Nigeria peren, what Paul Biya is doing in Cameroon will be child's play.

Obidients will shut any reaso voice of dissent down totally and brutally.

They will learn sha that Naija nor dey carry last.
Abacha would be learning from Peter Obi's style of government as his supporters wouldn't mind to be arresting anyone that attack his government.

They are not tolerant at all for political discussion.

The topic of discussion, even though it's something that can help their camp, they will never respond to it but be talking entirely something different. We should stop talking about Peter Obi because he's their demi god

Rubbish and ingredients

About time someone or group of people matched Obidients energy for abuse and insult.

It would be tough sha, those Obidients are world champions in abusing.

Good luck to ADC and Atikulators.
Bullying, insult , attacking, shutting others opinion's down, disrespecting, you can't defeat the Obidients in those aspects hence I stopped wasting my time with them.

Bro imagine a thread talking about addiction, I listed milk and yoghurt as things I am addicted to as it turns me off from taking alcohol.

One Obidient replied to my comments saying it's because I still have money to be buying milk and yoghurt that's why I am addicted, If I stopped having money, no one will advice me to stop.

Like I should get broke to the extent of not being able to afford ordinary milk and yoghurt . Why wishing such evil to others

If you were to be me, would you respond to the person or initiate instant blocking?

For now, I have to speak up because the extremely SENSELESS majority impose incompetent leaders on everyone and have us pay a heavy price for something we know nothing about.
If majority of the countries which USA have involved in the change of government end up being disastrous than before, why should you even be thinking about the West to come and help us solve our problems?

Are you guys in the opposition don't believe in your strength to use ballot to remove president Tinubu without looking for short cut? And please save me the story of rigging or INEC, South East was the most rigged region in the 2023 election and we know the beneficiary

I want to contest election and started pasting posters without informing the party I want to contest under or collecting form and when they field someone else, I claim they all saw my posters. How does that make any sense.

How does someone who passed through an institution of learning even think this way?
