Health / Re: Could This Be STD Or Bad Immune System? by helvidius: 1:23am On Oct 29, 2019
Pearl1996:
Nairaland famiy I need help.

Somethings been eating me up. I had sex with my boyfriend some weeks later i started falling so sick I will try to point out all I can remember
*Came down with what I felt was fever was burning hot so hot you just need to come close to feel the heat

*at night I sweat. Not just the usual sweat but one I have to change my clothes two times a nigbt(this happened for like a week)

* I started feeling so cold especially in the morning. Doctor said it was pneumonia + a cough that lasted for three weeks plus.

*and the rashes I ve never have in my whole life spreaded all over my arms and back as well as my breast region.

* I also had serious muscle ache. Serious that my mom had to help me massage it. My neck did hurt too it felt like someone hit me with a blank on my neck

* nodes on my neck, groin, as well as ear.
* I started having blurred vision and sores on my lips like fever blisters

* and then injuries in my mouth, weird ones
* I have oral trush at least thats what I thought them to be. White tongue I have had this before but this onr is different. With slimy white things in my mouth every time

*I also experienced dehydration and dry mouth.
* also had a delayed flow

The symptoms are so much I can't even mention it all. Most of these lasted for about a month +. I still have cold till this day. I shiver most times and its my major fear. And the rashes are still there.

This Is the major problem. The nurse who was handling me said it might be an STD maybe HIV I took plethora of test including HIV after 3 months all came back negative, I was told to wait 6montgs to check for HIv again it was still negativr. During this month I have seen so many doctors, private and government all they do is givr me drugs but I still experience the pneumonia cold( no cough) and occasional mouth sores as well as the rash. My boyfriend now my ex took HIV too it was negative.
Please doctors in the house what can this be. I have read so many threads here on naira land of people who had same experience but some later turned + they might be lying though.

I heard after 6 months and test is still negative then its not it. My question now is. What is wrong with me. I have spent so much on drugs and test. And no doctor is able to say what my problem is. Its making me crazy as I am even scared to shower because of the cold and I can't let people see my body due to rash.

I need help.
Most likely, you are HIV negative sister.A 6 month test after possible exposure is confirmatory. The symptoms you put up here are that of an Autoimmune Disease (Autoimmune disorders are chronic conditions that can’t be cured, but you can treat the symptoms). Please see a Dermatologist.

clevvermind:
Let the SE, SS and SW come together and vote massively for Jonathan in next year presidential election. Let us give Goodluck Jonathan a second chance to fully deliver his promises to Nigerians to the core.

Let us not allow tribal and religious sentiments to blind us and cause us to make the wrong choice. Jonathan will definitely deliver and fulfil all his promises to Nigerians. We all know that Jonathan is working hard and trying to fix what the pass leaders of this country has destroyed. Jonathan has already embarked on the journey of fixing Nigeria and making it a haven on earth. Let us not thwart his effort. If not for some unscrupulous elements and agents of backwardness that has vowed to make the Jonathan led administration ungovernable, Nigeria would have become a better place. Jonathan is working and some evil and unreasonable men from the opposition party are busy destroying. Only God will judge them.

Let us not be deceived into voting for the apc presidential candidiate in the person of Buhari. Buhari cannot be trusted. He has nothing to offer Nigerians. He promised last time to make the Jonathan led administration ungovernable and we all know what happened thereafter. Are we going to allow a coup plotter, a semi illiterate and a man who intend to islamize Nigeria to rule this great country of ours? Certainly not.

Enthroning Buhari in Aso rock next year will only worsen the situation of this country and make bokoharam his islamic brothers to flourish and cause more damage to this nation. Let us not be tempted to vote in Buhari. Let us be wise with our votes. The devil you know is better than an unknown angel.
Jonathan is trying therefore, let us give him more time to finish the good works he has started.

So, i encourage the Igbos, Ijaws and the Yorubas to resolve their differences and be united. Let us stand for Jonathan one more time and surely, things will get better than this. Let the SE, SS and SW come together and speak with one voice and give their support for Jonathan next year. Jonathan is definitely the better one than Buhari.

Say no to BOKO.HARI.
I disagree joor....There are two things involved:
1.Its either we unite and vote Gej out or
2.Unite and vote GMB in.
Remember bro,United GMB stands, DIVIDED Gej falls. grin

Health / Re: What Is The Alternative Cure For Hepatitis B by helvidius: 7:41pm On Dec 10, 2013
Emzybrown:

woow you are wrong hep B can be cured, depends on the viral load and severity of the disease, the doctor have to make a treatment plan for the patient and treatment period can last upto 6months. Antiviral drugs can do the magic wink wink

A little education: Hepatitis B is a viral disease of family hapadnaviridae, it causes chronic infections leading to inflammation of the liver and cancer of the liver. it possess three antigens that is hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis B envelope antigen, hepatitis B core antigen.

Its transmitted via sex, blood transfusion, contaminated sharp objects. wink wink
Thanks for your write up. Woow?I don't know why u said 'Woow' because you are the one that is missing it.As I said earlier hepatitis b can not be cured though the prognosis is very good depending on how well it is managed.
The treatment for hepatitis b depends on whether its acute or chronic. If its acute, the virus is less likely to be cleared in children than adults by the immune system. If its chronic,it can be treated by placing the patient on antiviral drugs such as lamivudine.Note:the drug only reduces/slows the replication process of the virus,in some patients the viral load is kept low, only in a very rare condition will the drug prevent the surface antigens from appearing in the blood(surface of rbcs)
so if u call this a cure, then it means you can also say HIV has a cure because the antiviral drugs administered for HIV patients only lowers the viral load(CD4+ count).Does it now eliminates the virus completely from the blood?Your answer is as good as mine.On that note I hope you will agree with me that Hepatitis b has no cure as at today.
Thanks.
Health / Re: What Is The Alternative Cure For Hepatitis B by helvidius: 1:21pm On Dec 10, 2013
Hepatitis B viral infection does not have a cure medically. It can only be managed.
