Politics › Re: Was Monday Okpebholo Really Misunderstood? by henrybomb(m): 11:20pm On Jul 20, 2025 |
RichmondAmadi: Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo says he was misunderstood.
But nobody misunderstood anything.
We all heard what he said in Uromi. And the video is still online.
Peter Obi cannot enter Edo without telling me. If anything happens to him, he will have himself to blame. I’m not joking.
That’s what the governor said. And now, instead of apologising, he’s claiming it was protocol. Security talk. Safety this. Clearance that.
But the threat was clear. And this so-called clarification solves nothing. It only makes things worse.
A governor who is supposed to be chief protector stood in public and told the world that another Nigerian’s safety was conditional.
Not because Obi broke a law. Not because he endangered Edo people. But because he didn’t report his movements to a fellow citizen with political power.
And they expect us to pretend it was misunderstood?
He said it clearly. He meant it clearly. And he should own it clearly.
If this was about security, then why the veiled threat? Why the “I’m not joking” part? Why link a peaceful donation to a deadly incident without proof?
Peter Obi gave ₦15 million to a nursing school. Some lives were lost around the same time. So what? Is he now a suspect?
This is not just reckless. It’s wicked.
It is one thing to play politics. It is another to incite fear.
No apology. No regret. Just blame-shifting, Bible-quoting, and PR damage control.
Yes, the governor’s team pulled out Matthew 6. Claimed public donations attract criminals. As if Peter Obi giving money to students is now a threat to Edo.
How low can we go?
Then they tried to defend it by bringing up a 2013 incident. When Obi detained El-Rufai in Anambra over protocol.
What does that have to do with today?
Two wrongs don’t make right. And back then, people criticised Obi too.
So if you condemned him then, why copy him now?
This is not about what Obi did ten years ago. This is about what Okpebholo said this week.
And what he said was dangerous.
Even the Constitution is clear. Freedom of movement is guaranteed. Section 41, plain and simple. No governor has the right to stop any Nigerian from entering a state.
So where’s the law backing Okpebholo’s clearance claim?
There is none.
This is executive rascality disguised as protocol. And the people know it.
Labour Party senators said it. Femi Falana said it. Even everyday Nigerians on X are calling it what it is — a disgrace.
A governor should lead with calm, not threats. With unity, not division.
But here we are again… watching a leader burn bridges just to score points.
And now that the backlash has come, he’s hiding behind “misunderstood.”
Leadership is not PR.
Leadership is responsibility.
And the first duty of responsibility is to say, “I was wrong.”
But Okpebholo won’t say it. He won’t apologise. He won’t retract.
He’d rather quote scripture than show humility. He’d rather deflect than own up.
And that is why this issue will not die down.
Edo people deserve better. Nigerians deserve better. And Peter Obi, like every citizen, deserves full security — not conditions.
This is not protocol. This is politics. And it has gone too far.
I'm Richmond Chijioke Amadi I want to keep record straight ❤ He goofed big time I was like why is this person talking in this manner…it all sounded like threat there was nothing like he was misunderstood. |

The same Peter Obi in 2013, arrested Elrufai before, because according to him, he(Elrufai) didn't seek clearance from him before visiting Anambra State...
Obi and his supporters are hypocrites, so totally ignore them, let them wail their eyes out. Himself and El-Rufai are together now Never ever fight for politician..slow down |

Omo, those MSc holders should be happy they got invited for an interview for a ₦500k job. The role is related to online streaming, so doing the interview online shouldn't be a problem at all. What if he is using them for content as usual? Who streams interview? It looks like mockery to me and saying they should be happy for a 500k job is way out of context. So because it is a role relating to online streaming warrants streaming the interview? He is truly not intelligent |
Romance › Re: My Experiences With Two Scammers On A Dating App by henrybomb(m): 8:04am On Jul 18, 2025 |
labake1: I am a lady who is seeking for love because I am ready to settle down. I was bored that day and was searching for dating sites, I downloaded some from play store but I need to pay for premium. I don't know how I stumbled on this website called NAIJAPLANET. It is free and no payment needed so I registered and uploaded my picture not quite long I started receiving a lot of messages from men that likes my profile. I chatted with a lot of men both the ill-mannered, sex starved and not serious ones. But a guy stood out, he claimed to be in US and ready to get married so he was introduced to the website from his friend who found love on the website. Chatting with him was interesting so I decided to give him my number so we continue talking on Whatsapp. He suddenly sent me a message one evening that I should please send 1k to his mom that she is stranded and he is not chanced to make any transactions, I felt somehow like how will you claimed to be wealthy and your mom can't have 1k. Since it is a small amount, I decided to send it then he sent me a message that he was just testing me to see if I was different from other ladies that he is really flabbergasted that I will sent it that he is going to surprised me with gifts. It was nothing to me, then he asked me what I need as a lady trying to get my business together, I need sewing machine and money for other accessories. So he said he is going to get them for me at his end and send it to me in Nigeria so I was happy like it's a dream come true. He sent me pictures of the machine he claimed to bought, shoes and he said he hide money in the package. He was supposed to send it to Lagos but said he couldn't get anywhere close but Abuja which is through FedEx. I was concerned because I have never travelled that far before so I asked him if it can be sent to Lagos if it arrived at Abuja and he said yes.
To cut this short, I was so happy that evening telling my sister that my dream as a fashion designer is coming through. So after some hours, he sent me a message that he mistakenly dropped his wallet which has his work permit in the package. I was shocked and couldn't typed to express how I feel. He said he can't move around or work without his permit that I should let him know if I received the call for the package. I am a friend of Chatgtp so I always ask AI of things confusing, AI said he is suspicious that he should try tracking the package with the ID given to him so I messaged him to ask of the tracking ID but he was trying to avoid it which makes it more suspicious. I was also praying because it might be true, I assure him that I will let him know if I received the package. It was 1am at midnight, I was still awake and praying then he sent me a message asking if I have heard from them and I said no. After 10 minutes, I received a message from a number on Whatsapp that I have a package in Nnamdi Azikiwe airport that I should call a particular number for claiming.
Guys, I couldn't laugh because I do shop with Jumia and they don't send info about package like this, they either call, text or send an email. I went to Google and search for FedEx customer service number to compare with the one I have, it was different. I called the customer service number I saw on their website to confirm and the voice was informing me of their international customer service number as if they are aware that people do use their company to scam people. Then I decided to call the number of the said customer care from Whatsapp. He said that I have a package in the airport that I should come and pick it but if I can't, it can be delivered to me at my address which I have to pay the sum of 10k first. Even on Jumia, I like payment on delivery so I said I only have cash that I will pay on delivery he was furious and asking I should pay some of the money upfront first. I mentioned my US guy that they want 10k and I only have cash so he was pressuring me to do something about it because of his wallet that he already hide money inside the package.
I was tired of everything and it was late so I decided to let him know that I am aware of the scam that he is not smart enough and I advised him to top up on his game.
THIS IS NOT A MADE UP STORY I WILL ATTACH SCREENSHOT OF EVERY CONVERSATION WITH HIM ON THE POST. I DECIDED TO SHARE THIS STORY TO LET THE NAIVE NOT TO FALL FOR THIS KIND OF SCAM.
This is my first experience, I am now wondering if my body is attracting scammers no be say I get money o You are smart Someone else would have fall for this cheap scam..truly all that glitter is not gold |
Car Talk › Re: Why Most Nigerian Used Cars Are Overpriced – And How I Learned The Hard Way by henrybomb(m): 6:49am On Jul 17, 2025 |
Easyinfoguide: There’s something painful about buying a car in Nigeria—especially used ones. You save, you hustle, you pay… only to later discover you overpaid for a car with hidden faults, messed-up papers, or artificially inflated price.
It happened to me too.
I almost dropped ₦3.6M on a Toyota Camry that wasn't even worth ₦2.7M. Why? Because of emotional buying + dealer psychology + lack of insider knowledge.
Let me tell you what they won’t teach you on YouTube:
---
7 Things Every Nigerian Should Know Before Buying a Used Car (Especially from Dealers):
1. Most Prices Are Inflated by 20–40% Car dealers add margins based on vibes, not necessarily market value. If you don’t know how to check true valuation, you’ll pay premium for nothing.
2. Tokunbo ≠ Clean Title Just because it landed from Cotonou or America doesn’t mean it’s clean. Some are auction scraps revived by panel beaters. Always ask for auction history or chassis check.
3. Some Cars Are Technically Stolen (But Legally Sold) No joke. If police ever stops you and checks, you may find yourself explaining what you can’t prove.
4. Odometer Lies Are a Culture That “low mileage” is often adjusted. I’ve seen a 2010 Camry magically showing 38,000km. LOL. Use tools or get an expert to verify.
5. Some Dealers Don’t Know Jack About the Car’s Health They just wash, shine, and smile. That’s all. Your best defense? Bring your own mechanic or use a checklist before parting with money.
6. First Body? Who Dash Monkey Banana? Everybody says it’s "First Body" until you scrape paint and discover otherwise.
7. Car Verification is Your Shield Simple things like Police vehicle check, VIN lookup, or stolen status check can save you from regret.
---
Since that day, I made it a mission to learn how car sellers think, how to verify, how to inspect, and how to price-down confidently. I’ve saved friends and colleagues hundreds of thousands using these tips.
If you’re planning to buy a car soon—be guided. Don’t rush because of shine and rims. Buy with sense.
If you want, I can even share my personal checklist and online tool links for proper car checks. Just comment “Checklist” below and I’ll drop it publicly.
Let’s stop being victims. Checklist |

That is never enough reason to band them together as one. Power corrupts, never everybody.
Peter Obi is a shining example of a politician that conquered greed. Still on still Never take politicians seriously they dont deserve that much attention. They always have a way of settling scores behind closed doors…you only hear of their dirty linen when things go south. |
