For the record I am not a smoker but I have helped a few of my friends who were ready to quit smoking, if you have a brother, sister or friend that smokes and he or she comes to you for help, are you gonna be bitter like this?

No long talk. Been smoking since I was 16, now I'm 24. I've destroyed beautiful relationships, been in wrong company just because of this plant.

I don't know what sober life feels like anymore. These days I smoke to function, I smoke to be normal.. I need my life back. pls do not bash me. I've done a lot of that to myself. I need help now on how to quit.

dude during my NYSC days, i smoked lot of weed,it was fun, gosh! i wrote stuff, think good about events, it was great been a thinker and then one party i over did it, i smoke 6 -sks, and also put drank pepper soup mixed with sk, then i had a very bad trip, was scared of my life, in the morning i was normal but i knew i lost something, then begain another phrase of severe depression, heart palpitation,weak reflexes, i was like in a waking dream i lost ambition in life and dopamine was low in my brain, all stuff i found cool wasnt cool again, it was pain i broke up with my ex. i was not even an addict but i know what i passed through from withdrawing from it. let it be known Marijuana can be used to treat some diseases especially the oil but misusing the plant will definitely make you dependent on it and can destroy your life.( once you become dependent on any drugs, medically approved or not for survival it will destroy you)

do you know, how i came back to enjoy life again? i started doing exercise( long distance jogging) and playing football. all my heart palpitation stopped and i became damn happy with my life.

to go cold turkey be prepared for withdrawal symptoms(heart palpitation, depression, weak reflexes,boredom, living in a dream state life, no dreams and many more) it is almost similar to symptoms you get when quitting cigarette

try as much as possible to stop smoking, the first week will be hard( keep a sheet to record your no smoking days)
run and jog every morning and evening
play football
find for activities that interest you
be prepared for withdrawal symptoms during these period, so jog and jog

If you are not in people's shoes don't be quick to judge them.
No one is perfect everyone needs help so it is better to speak out than keep to yourself... Just shut the f**k up if you don't have anything reasonable to offer

It is good you are seeking for help, it is a sign that you really want to quit.
First you have to try as much as possible to stay away from friends or environment where this is taken.
Second, try to skip it gradually like reducing the number of rolls you take per day. When you have the urge to smoke just get your mind occupied with something else.
And I also think you should also seek a counsellor for proper advice too
