Xiaomi 15T camera is way better than Redmi Note 10 Pro. The phone is good and I am enjoying it. I really don't have anything to complain even though it was the Xiaomi 15T Pro I wanted but they didn't have it available.

Finally changed my Redmi Note 10 Pro I bought since 2021. It is still going strong but just needed a new one and I went for Xiaomi 15T which I am okay with 🙂

Please, permit me to ask you some questions.
If I may ask, how did you come by the conclusion that your phone had a battery? Was it only the excessive heating up while charging? Did you confirm that by using one of those battery health apps? Did your phone ever shutdown and only come on after it had cooled down? Was there ever a time that your screen went blank white while rebooting?

Other than the over heating, the battery was extremely swollen.

It has gone off a few times while using it like twice but i turned it on immediately without it cooling down.

Mind you, I have been using the phone for over 3 years and I had a bad charging habit. The battery was swollen and made the phone's back cover to open up.

well, I am not a novice when it comes to phones and buying things. I don't understand why he will make such a comment about force resetting a phone with swollen battery. I knew what my phone's issue was before taking it there, I needed no one to tell me.

Well, I didn't take any pics but I have a receipt of the transaction. They replaced it right there and I picked it up. I went there last month and the battery was not available, they said it was ₦28,000 back then but when I called yesterday they said it's ₦26,000.

I am very much satisfied with the quality of the battery and the fact my phone no longer heats up.

Not only does it solve my phone's over heating issues but it also last long.

Just in case anyone is having battery issues with their Redmi Note 10 Pro, I was able to change replace mine yesterday at Raya (Xaiomi Customer service).

I called Xaiomi Customer service number i got from Xaiomi site to confirm if they had the battery.

I can confirm the battery is very good and my phone is as cool as new, no more over heating.

The battery last long too and it was replaced for ₦26,000. Yeah, it's expensive, I know but it's better than paying ₦8,000 for the batteries on Jumia that won't last long.

Just felt I should share in case anyone is going through battery issues that makes their phone over heat.

Just yesterday I discovered I couldn't open any app on my Redmi Note 10s phone with my fingerprint. The fingerprint options weren't even showing. I had to go to my settings and discovered that I can't find the fingerprint option in my settings anymore. I can't even unlock my phone with my fingerprint. The fingerprint feature just disappeared just like that. I went to update my phone to MIUI 13 which was showing me since (because I was on 12.5 or so) but after the update, I still couldn't find the fingerprint feature on my settings.

Please anyone who can help me with what to do to restore it I will really appreciate because it feels awkward for me to start using draw patterns to open apps that I locked or pins to initiate transactions...

I don't know if this will work for you, I had similar issue with my Redmi Note 10 Pro. My fingerprint scanner was no longer responding but it was showing in settings unlike yours that isn't. I had to factory reset my phone and It started working again, I hope it works for you too.

It was even the increased temperature which they fixed that I was more worried about. Didn't have the app closing issue.

The other one was the system UI crashing sometimes which I never experienced since 2021 but has been fixed.

yeah, experienced the temperature issue. I'm glad it's fixed because I was just hoping it would be fixed with an update.

Good morning guys, so there is new update for Redmi Note 10 Pro 14.0.2.0 which I updated and it fixed the issue I had with update 14.0.1.0 which made my apps to close when ever I open another app. So, that was the only issue I had with the last update and now I'm good to go.😄😄

Modified: Open an app that I last opened 20mins ago and it was still open. And I have circled through some apps before that.

that's cool but mine doesn't stay that long without reloading and I even had to extend the memory by additional 5GB. I guess I should try to hard reboot it.

I have updated mine and the major thing I noticed is that apps closes easily in the background. Once I leave an app and go back it reloads. Just hoping there will be an update to fix that.

Thanks, the thing is it already got into Nigeria since on the 15th and received by Nipost. I even mailed them on the 20th and I was told they already sent it to my local post office but checking yesterday on their site and the status changed from "insert item in domestic bag" to the new status. Every other tracking site is still carrying the update that it arrived on the 15th. Here is the tracking number RU901505588NL

My Nipost (their website) tracking was initially showing "Item in domestic bag" since on the 15th of this month, I checked today and it has gone back to "SEND ITEM ABROAD (EDI-RECEIVED)". Has anyone experienced this before??

Please, is it possible to change delivery address for an item that is already in Nigeria by contacting Nipost? The parcel arrived Nigeria on the 15th of this month and it's supposed to be delivered to Port Harcourt but want to change the delivery address to Surulere, Lagos because I won't be in Port Harcourt when it will get here.

Can I reach out to Nipost to change the delivery address?

I also have an item like this, I think they were shipped together with your parcel. The tracking is similar with mine with same parcel movement and time.

Can someone help me explain this, the description at the top is saying at destination while the tracking is showing depart transit country. Does it mean the package is in Nigeria or still on it way?
