A beautiful woman was shot in the head allegedly by her jealous boyfriend in Brazil and the horrific video was shared online.

In the video which was allegedly livestreamed by the boyfriend, the injured woman is seen lying on the floor with blood coming out of her nose and forehead where she had been shot. She was not dead yet as her mouth was seen moving. Blood can also be seen pooled in her mouth as she lay dying.

Why is the newly wedded man called groom and the woman called bride?

A friend of mine got tired of his wife just about six months after wedding. He complained bitterly to me about her and told me that he has concluded to break up with her; he went on to say that he was sure that he made a mistake.

I did not respond immediately because I knew I must tell him that right thing, so I went home.

And that is what birth this message.

Many men have broken up with their wives because they end up not being the wife that they have dreamt of. But they have forgotten that on their wedding day was when the man was commissioned for the new task.

Nobody calls the woman wife on her wedding day but bride, because it is the man that will groom his bride to become the wife.

That is why the man is called ‘bridegroom or groom’ and the word grooming has to do with patiently nurturing, teaching, tending and helping someone to become what he or she should be.

It is therefore believed that a man that takes a woman to the altar of marriage is matured enough to patiently groom his bride to become the wife. The man is not supposed to just expect the bride to automatically become the wife, she must be groomed.

It is clear that many of us men have unnecessary expectations when we were getting married, we want some magic to happen to our wives, we want them to become what we have had in mind about who we want our wives to be; not considering the fact that the woman does not know what is on your mind except you teach her.

Our expectations are often too unrealistic, because we don’t remember that change takes time and we can only expect something from someone that knows what we want.

So before you think of breaking up, have you groomed her? Have you given her time to understand you? Hope you realize that a turtle will never become a hawk? God often brings people that are opposites of each other together in marriage so that they can help each other in their place of weaknesses.

A military officer with the (5BN) at Burma Camp in Accra was lynched by residents of Denkyira Boaso of the Central region who mistook him for an armed robber on Monday, May 29th.

The management of the Osun State University has shut down the school’s campus for a week after Air Force officers’ alleged assault on some students. Students, lecturers and other workers at Osun State university was reportedly harassed and battered by Airforce personnel on Tuesday Afternoon. Although the reason for this invasion is not yet known.

They beat us with cutlasses,big sticks and guns.We couldn’t record well because they beat up anybody they saw recording or taking pictures and students had to leave school through a farm at the back.. Please we need help.”

A mother, Maureen Agagwaonye who lost her 23 year old son in a fatal car accident mourns her son’s death. 23 year old graduate of University of Lagos state, Obizulike Obinna who just concluded his NYSC programe died after he was involved in fatal accident at Okada Town in Edo state on the 16th of May.

A Lecturer, Dr Oluseyi Adu, in Ogun State College of Health Technology in Ilese Ijebu is involved in a sex scandal with a dental student of that same school and she is identified as Mosunmola.

Acording to reports, Dr Oluseyi who is the Oral Health Coordinator for the college, had sexual relations with Mosunmola in August last year. Nine months after, Mosunmola is heavy with a child she claims is his.

The lecturer has owned up to having sex with Mosunmola but said that he used a condom when they had sex.According to Mosunmola, Dr Oluseyi had been lecturing her since her 100 level but she did not fail his course until when she was in 300 level. She went to his office to inquire how she failed his course and he allegedly told her that she cannot just come into the school like that without him having sexual relations with her.
According to Mosunmola, Dr Oluseyi allegedly told her that he had interest in her while she was in 100 level but he backed out because a fellow lecturer had signified interest in her. She said the other lecturer had told her back then that she will either pay him money to pass his exams or give in to his sexual advances. Mosunmola says it was important for her to pass the course Dr Oluseyi failed her in because it would stop her from writing her board exams. She gave into his request and agreed to date him.

Oluseyi helped her get a waiver for the course from the department and then asked her to come over to a hotel where she would spend the night with him. At the hotel, she met another lecturer with another female student. Mosunmola says they had three rounds of sex while at the hotel. She stated that Oluseyi used condoms during two rounds but the last round was without any condom.

Mosunmola noticed she was pregnant few weeks after and told the Lecturer who gave her a drug, Eprostol, to abort the pregnancy. Mosunmola said she refused to take the drug and that one time when he came by her house to persuade her to abort the pregnancy, they finished their discussion and had sex in her house.

Dr Oluseyi started withdrawing from her and would not take her calls. She informed the HOD, Dean and other staff who tried to persuade him to take responsiblity for the child and cater for her but he refused to take responsibility. She then approached the Human Rights Office of the Ogun state Ministry of Justice who mediated and was able to get Oluseyi to pay her N5,000 monthly stipend and N7000 for antenatal registration. He however stopped paying after two months.

Malaysian police released a CCTV showing the brutal sexual assault of a cashier in a casino, in hopes that it can be used to catch the perpetrators of the crime. According to online reports the attack took place in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Malaysi,a on May 11, 2017.
